Family trip to Yosemite
10.0
Our family of 5 throughly enjoyed our week stay at this lovely home, a short distance from the PML marina and many home amenities available to us! The owners provided great local info, WiFi, movies and the pool table was a hit with us all! We were able to have a day trip to World Famous Yosemite, which was only about 1.5 hrs away giving you time to get to the great sights!
Highly recommend a stay here!

House was very welcoming, up to date. No issues for our stay. The driveway was a little slippery during the rainy weather while we stayed.

Overall peaceful trip, nice for sitting outside, wildlife watching, enjoying the sunset within the tree-lined view. We come each year for the beach so only spent mornings and evenings at the house but it’s a nice house to come back and relax in, after you make it back up the steep hill and all the stairs…
Pros:
Well-stocked and nice layout of kitchen
Living space
Outdoor seating / porch
Grill
Lots of blankets
There is a coffee grinder, even though when asked about this in advance they said there isn’t one
Cons:
VERY steep driveway, we scraped our car each time in and out and difficult to park on
Indoor stairs are steep
Not ideal for toddlers or not fully able-bodied individuals (I recently had knee surgery). Both “kid” bedrooms are downstairs and adult bedrooms upstairs.
Managed by a company, not the owners, and they might not know all the details of the house or be as responsive, we asked for late check-out morning of but didn’t get a response in time.
Trash - you’re expected to take the trash halfway down the hilly driveway which was hard for me with a knee injury and needing to take a soiled diaper out several times a day. Then on trash pickup (I think Mondays) the cans will partially block the driveway.
Bring plenty of beach towels. Can walk to the Marina Beach, it’s about a quarter mile, 10 min walk. On the weekends when parking at the beach is restricted to owners only, people park nearly as far back as this house.

Owners could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Very nice floor plan, neat and tidy as can be, awesome patio decks so plenty of room for outside R & R, close proximity to the lake, and the list goes on and on. The ideal getaway.

The home is on the small side but very cozy. The owner’s have put a lot of work and heart into it , which made the stay very pleasant.

The unit itself is very nice but has no A/C so on hot days, which we had, the top floor get real warm each day and lower level is much cooler, but kitchen is on the upper level. We had 94 + degrees in weather each day, but lake was real refreshing
FYI - frig in kitchen was not cooling our drinks enough and freezer was not freezing ice cubes all the way no matter what we did to adjust the temperature of frig.
Bathroom sink stopper in lower level was not working properly when we arrived.

Lovely cabin in the woods
Had a great time staying at this cozy cabin. It is the perfect size for two families. Thanks for letting us stay here.

Nice House !!
We had the chance to rent this home for a few days earlier this month. Nice house with plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. Thank you!!

The house is great and very up to date...
The house is very nice and modern. I really love the house... A warning the driveway is very steep and even going slow we scraped our car. The only real issue we had was cleanliness. We got to the cabin on Sunday and there seemed to be tiny pieces of broken glass in the kitchen and there were spots on both tiles in bathrooms with long black hairs. Also, on the second night we discovered in the upper left bedroom there seemed be a large spider living in the corner. I could not stay in that room and bunked up downstairs. It's a great cabin and amazing location. Regardless of my nitpicking, I would highly recommend this cabin and would consider staying there again.

Cute cabin, great location
We had a nice time here. The decks are lovely spots for hanging out and the kitchen is modern and well laid out. Walking distance to the lake if you don’t mind walking the main road through Pine Mtn. Some aspects of the home could use updates like the bathrooms and upstairs seating. The house does not have A/C and the top floor gets really warm when it’s over 90 degrees, even with the fans. My parents chose to sleep downstairs in the kids room as a result. Otherwise it’s a comfortable place in a great location. Pine Mtn Lake is awesome, especially if you have children.

Property not clean
Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Dirty dishes in the pantry. Bathroom covered in hair. All pool cues missing the tips. The condition of the home made me feel as though the guests’ experience was not the highest priority.

Loved our Stay!
We loved the house, once we could get inside. There was a lock box issue getting the key and they opening the door. The front door was very hard to open with the key that was provided. Other than than loved staying here and would recommend to others.
Thanks so much!

A wonderful and luxury house
Here is a wonderful and luxury house with full kitchen equipment, washing machine and everything we need. There are 4 comfortable bedrooms for one to two families and warm wooden and pellet heaters in winter. They introduced us to the environment around the house and the scenery near Yosemite enthusiastically.

The perfect Pine Mt Magic
This place is amazing. Inside and out so extraordinary, so cozy place to live in. The house is sorrounded with large and tall pine trees. Just loving it. You can see running squirrels and walking deers. My pleasure to stay here again when I’m back to Yosemite National Park

Nice open home
Very open and airy. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and some basic provisions (oils/salt/pepper/sugar/teabags/etc).
Bedrooms downstairs are much cooler at night than upstairs which made it slightly uncomfortable at night so use extra comforters (if you prefer the cool -you'll love it!).
Wish the beds had a mattress topper on them to make it more comfortable (would be a vast improvement).
HOA/Security charges each vehicle $31 for entry - even if you're just visiting someone that's staying there. Had we known that in advance when we booked the place we would have looked for alternate places without the charge.

Enjoyed our stay at Pine Mountain Magic
Traveling with 6 adults and one teenager, we were looking for plenty of space to spread out on our trip to Yosemite. This was a great place to do just that. A great time was had by all. The pool table was a hit and so was the horse shoe pit in front of the house.

Loved our stay!
This house was beautiful and just what we needed for our group of 8. Sitting on the deck in the morning with coffee and watching the deer stroll by. Playing pool with our children at night. The proximity to Yosemite was perfect and allowed us to make multiple trips to the park throughout the week. We would highly recommend this for anyone. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the steep driveway, but once we got used to it, it was fine. Thank you so much!

Family Holiday
The cabin felt like home away from home. We loved using Groveland as a jumping off point for a few days in Yosemite and love being able to come home to the peace of the cabin which was set up really well for our family (2 adults and 1 toddler).

Overall good
The location of the house is good. They approved our early checkin which made our trip easier. The house is well maintained. We had a short stay. There are some small things that I want to provide feedback on:
1) There is a $30 parking fee that you pay that wasn't mentioned before renting this house.
2) The kitchen doesn't have enough pots and pans for a good meal. For example, it had only a small pan while the house can accommodate up to 8 people. It made cooking harder. It doesn't make sense in this beautiful big kitchen.
3) There was no hairdryer although it said there would be.
4) The gas tank for the BBQ was empty. It is said you can call a number and order, however it is inconvenient in a short stay.

Home away from Home
This is a great place to stay! House is clean, comfortable and really makes you feel at home with all the amenities you’d need. Gated community and very close to the lake. Groveland is a nice little town with that old California mining town feel. People in town are all super friendly. Beautiful area and short trip to Yosemite making it easy to go in and out of the park daily. Would definitely stay again.

Nice location
Cabin was clean and well stocked, good layout, walking distance to Marina. Overall cozy and well taken care of. Nice deck and front yard area with a hammock and fire pit. No A/C, one bedroom is very small & really really steep driveway though so giving it 4 stars.
