Sleeping up to eight travelers, this crisp, clean Groveland cabin brings the beauty of Northern California right to you, along with all of the essentials to ensure you feel right at home.
Set just 25 miles from Yosemite National Park in the Pine Mountain Lake community in quiet Groveland, you'll have access to a refreshing lake, shared tennis courts, a golf course, seasonal pool, and hiking trails throughout. Although there's no doubt much of your time will be spent exploring awe-inspiring Yosemite, with so many activities within the community, everyone will stay happily occupied even during downtime.
This newer two-story home doesn't need any extra frills, and yet is perfectly and simply decorated to create a welcoming atmosphere to spend quality time with loved ones.
There are plenty of spaces to spread out and let smaller groups enjoy their own activities, though you could also gather everyone together in the living room to watch movies on the flatscreen TV and play board games each night. Head out to breathe in fresh air on the balcony or covered patio, or play a game of air hockey after a day of hiking in Yosemite.
Complete with granite countertops, stainless steel major appliances, and add-ons such as a coffeemaker, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster, the vast kitchen makes meals for the entire crew a breeze. Whip up five-course holiday meals in a jiffy with everyone helping, or easily store quick snacks in the fridge to keep everyone replenished in between thrilling activities.
On warm summer nights, dine out on the patio, and when it's a little too cool, light the living room fireplace and take a seat at the dining table for eight to enjoy a meal. More great amenities here include WiFi and a washer and dryer so you can pack extra light.
With four spacious bedrooms, all eight guests will have a comfortable place to rest each night. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and stunning en suite bathroom with a garden tub and separate shower. A queen-size bed is found in the next bedroom, and the remaining two each have a set of twin bunk beds. There is a second full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a half bath on the first floor.
Hop in the car and embark on the short 25-mile drive to Yosemite National Park for a day packed with fun. Hikes and sights you won't want to miss can keep you busy in Yosemite for days! Inspiration Point, The Mist Trail, and Mirror Lake are among the more advanced trails. Some easier hikes for all abilities include Glacier Point, Mariposa Grove for an up close view of the world's largest sequoia, and a hike through the Tunnel Tree. The Lower Yosemite Falls trail is less than a mile long and brings you to the base of the tallest waterfall in North America, or you can hike to the top for some incredible views.
Take a break from hiking through the towering forests to try horseback riding tours, water sports, and even skiing and snowboarding in the winter. And don't forget to stick around town and explore Groveland and see the historic sites through shopping, dining, and museum visits. Winter sports are also abundant here and include skiing and snowboarding at Dodge Ridge Ski Resort (58 miles northeast). And Black Oak Casino is 31 miles south.

Nice and big house

Very quiet neighborhood.

The home was a perfect mix of spacious rooms, fun activities for our kids and comfort for us all! The location was beautiful, in a quiet community teeming with deer and turkeys. The home was well appointed and very clean. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Beautiful environment, very clean, all necessary and unnecessary amenities are present. Very good overall. We would definitely come again.

Made the unfortunate mistake of picking this house for celebrating Thanksgiving dinner for our new family of five. The kitchen is the worst stocked kitchen I've been in for a rental house. No ziplock bags, cling film, or storage containers for saving leftovers. No platters of any variety for serving dinners. The only oven safe item was a quarter cake pan. One small mixing bowl. One cutting board. No bottle opener, vegetable peeler, or can opener. Weirdly there were 50,000 steak knives.
Wifi was terrible. Single tv was difficult to operate.
My kids enjoyed the foosball and air hockey tables.
The house was clean. Shampoo, conditioner and soap were provided.

Very clean, spacious, loved the deck in the back.

This house was what we expected based on other reviews. It fit our needs for a weekend near the snow.

I really liked the cleanliness of the home when we first arrived. The home was in a nice location as it was only a 10 minute drive to the lake and the nearby stores. However, the kitchen could use better quality utensils, pots, and pans. More trash bags would be helpful as well due to the fact that we ran out by the second night of our stay. Lastly our TV in the living room was a bit hard to navigate as there wasn’t a remote and we needed to manually click the buttons on the TV. Other than these minor inconveniences we had a great stay and would stay here in the future.

My galavanting gals and I have been coming to Groveland and Yosemite for years. This home was very spacious, a lovely deck with plenty of room for our morning yoga. It is super convenient to the Hetch Hetchy side of Yosemite and striking distance to the Valley. Our only concerns were minor: although the kitchen was well-appointed, you should bring your own salt and other seasonings. The TV had at least 4 remotes and we old gals just couldn't figure it out. Same with the propane BBQ. This minor inconveniences did little to take away from our time there. If you stay a week as we did, you might want more tee towels. Yes, there is a washer/dryer but who wants to do laundry on vacation! If you have kids, this place is definitely for you.

Large place for us all
Nice and spacious. Other people have already mentioned in their reviews...only bummer was the Association does not allow visitors to park in the lot at the lake on weekends. Tough to find parking on the street. Lake too far to walk to.

Much bigger in person
This home was a home away from home. Perfect location and did not even need to go anywhere to play in snow we simply opened the back door and went out with our sleds to play and the best part is the supplies in home wasn’t missing anything. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was there was no cable working so bring your iPads to view tv on other then that we loved our families stay and we look forward to doing it again next vacation . beautiful home

Beautiful and Cleanest house!
If you like a beautiful and clean house...I highly recommend it. Even the pictures do not do it justice. It was so spacious for our family of 4. It was one of the cleanest that we have stayed in. The deer were such a sweet surprise. From the house to Yosemite valley floor was about 1 hour and 14 mins. There is a $40.00 fee that is charged when you enter the community that you have to pay outside of VRBO. AT&T service was full bars at 5G. The WIFI worked great. Also, there were no extra cleaning supplies so you might want to bring your own, Overall, we would 100% rent this house again!

Good and not so good -- Depends on your needs
The house was nice with a good kitchen, living room, and deck. the rooms and bathrooms were all satisfactory. However, the window "shades" are made of paper and taped together with blue painters tape ... so if you are staying in the summer you better be an early riser! The dryer broke while we were there ... we called twice and we never heard from the repair person despite being told twice they would contact us ... This was an issue for a family of four. The internet is horrible and we used our phones as hotspots the whole time we were there. Certainly, not the best nor the worst.

Nice house in north (far) side of the community
We had a nice stay overall. The house is in the north side of the pine lake community, and a bit far from the main entrance. It's close to another entrance which can be used to leave but not enter for guests. The area is quiet and we saw deer lingering around every day. This house itself is nice, but for some reason none of the windows had proper curtains installed. Most of them just had a temporary paper shade that you can buy from HD for about $10, which doesn't block much light. And one downstairs bedroom didn't have a shade at all. This doesn't match the rest of the house.
The house has 3 stories. The outside temperature was above 90 degrees when we stayed, and with the A/C on, the downstairs is a bit on the cold side while the upstairs is warm. We saw small paper pieces on the carpet, so not sure if it was thoroughly vacuumed.

Great getaway
Super nice place! Enough beds for all of us and has a cute feel to it. Kitchen was fully prepared, everything was clean and had everything you needed. Would stay here again!

Just what we needed.
This property was just what we needed for our trip to Yosemite with a group of hiking friends. Unfortunately it was much hotter outside than we had planned so many of our hikes in the area were not an option. The drive into Yosemite was well over an hour every day. The house was plenty spacious for all our indoor needs.

Mountain Retreat
Beaches and pool were wonderful for our young grandchildren. House was spacious. Large assortment of pots, pans, and utensils. Large sunny deck. Could use window coverings for both privacy and to keep the sun from waking guests at sunrise.

Lovely home and good support from local Vacasa staff.

The home on Cresthaven Drive was large and beautiful from afar. We loved the large bedrooms on different levels and the living space was wonderful. The home was not clean. Food left on the floor, surfaces sticky, stove filthy, dishwasher broken, very spotty wifi service/tv, mold in the shower, no window coverings outside of torn paper blinds in the bedroom only. The TV did not fit in the slot that was built for it so it was placed on a small kids toy box which put the unit very low to the floor and unstable. Couch had stains, Bed pillows were stained yellow, Bed skirt ripped and falling off of the bed. The kitchen was not equipped with the necessities of everyday cooking needs as well as not very clean. The eating utensils were also unsanitary. The outside patio furniture was dirty and unusable until cleaned. Wished our experience could have been different. Hope my review can be helpful to others.

Great Experience
It was the perfect vacation home for me and my family. We are a family with 4 kids, and the house seemed to have to right amount of rooms and just matched the kids needs and personalities perfectly. The master bedroom was amazing. So much space to relax and enjoy. Kitchen was great. We cooked a couple meals and had a wonderful clean kitchen with amenities to make our stay not only convenient but enjoyable.

Definitely coming here again !
Along with the beautiful scenery, The house is the icing on the cake. I have no complaints about the house whatsoever there were a couple lightbulbs that were out but I’m not complaining my overall stay was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back to this place that’s a certainty.

Great cabin with some disappointments
We really liked the living layout of the house. Very spacious with big kitchen. Deck was a good attraction as well. It furnished well. This place was very quiet with good privacy.
We were disappointed with the internet speed which was around 1.5Mbps. This used to be a high speed internet 10+ years ago. We have two adults work from home and kids attending online classes. Internet was totally useless. Fortunately Verizon and ATT coverage is good and we were able to manage with our unlimited data plan.
Kitchen utensils were very limited and some of the pans were pretty beaten up.
Another disappointment was the cheap temporary paper shades that were very hard to open the screen and flying away when the fan was running.
I would have given 5 stars if those issues were not there. Otherwise it was a great stay.

groveland stay
The house is exactly the same as the description. The community is very family oriented. The only complain i have is that we are missing remotes for the TV and DVD. So if you are staying for more than 2 days, is best to make sure they are available. Also, they should have bigger pots for the house. For a family that loves to cook, what they provided for cooking will not be sufficient enough. Lastly, management should fix the stove, one stove top is not working.

Nice comfortable house
The house is spacious and comfortable, with everything you might need for a pleasant stay. I would have appreciated the $35 parking fee being mentioned a little more clearly (I first noticed it in the confirmation email after we booked).

Pine mountain lake
Great house - same as listed except “gourmet kitchen”. The kitchen is modern but does not have the things you need to cook- needs a cookie sheet, foil, more pans. The 2nd floor bedroom is very hot in the summer, even with A/C. Nice house, nice location just needs a few more amenities

Strong WiFi very helpful, fabulous shaded deck. Could use permanent window treatments. Lots of space to spread out. Nice and clean. Pleasant drive in to Yosemite.

Nice house, but a few inconvenient things
Nice modern house, but we were met with a few inconveniences. Check-in instructions should provide address of the Pine Mountain main gate; our GPS for the address of the house took us to a back gate to which we had no access and we had to backtrack several miles to the main gate in order to check in (kind of a hassle after a long drive).
House was mostly clean except for kitchen floor where we found coffee grounds, sand, and crumbs. Washing machine was out of order and we were not informed. House has 3 levels; bottom level was freezing, middle was fine, top level was very warm. We were not provided detergent for the dishwasher, and the pots and colander are quite worn. Also, we could have used a few extra pillows. Lastly, the trash bins outside needed to be emptied. Other than that, the house is situated near a cute lake and community that is a little over an hour from Yosemite. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us, and we enjoyed the deck very much. It is a bit more isolated than we expected, but still a nice getaway.

Gorgeous home with lots of space! Fantastic Kitchen space, lots of games and movie options. WiFi worked really well while there, especially with the spotty phone service. Beds were EXTREMELY comfortable! Thanks for a great weekend with the family!
