Beautiful cabin surrounded by trees (and wildlife) yet very near to town and all the fun! I'd definitely rent this one again!

It’s the best of both worlds. The cabin is in the woods but is a few blocks from town. Clean, safe, private - it was perfect for our family of six but we have small children. If your kids are older I would say the max for this cabin is two adults and three kids. The hot tub was great. We saw deer, made a fire and enjoyed the proximity to all of the great activities.Bonnie was communicative and available for any questions we had.

Just a very wonderful place to stay back up in the woods and very quiet and peaceful

Quiet cabin, walking distance to town.
4.8
Cozy quiet retreat just off main road in town. Down in a hollow, very quiet.

This is the relaxing, fun getaway we needed. Property was perfect for my family and 2 small dogs - for a quick trip. Would stay again if we go back to Helen.
4.8
It was bueatiful and well kept. I love how secluded it felt while being so close and convenient to the town and activities. Bonnie is amazing to work with she responded quickly to my questions while booking. Everything was perfect at the cabin and we didn't need to message her once.

The place was great and location at the end of the row was private. Fully stocked for what you need. Best part was the Owner...Bonnie. On top of communication the entire time. Thank you Bonnie and i would certainly return

We stayed here in June 2024 with our young kids and really enjoyed the location. We walked into town every day and walked back and forth from tubing. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The house receives complete shade, which is an incredible blessing in the summer heat. Bonnie was easy to contact and very responsive. This house doesn’t have a dishwasher or laundry facilities, so that is something to plan ahead for. We would stay again!

Property was just as advertised. Close to town but nestled in the woods for peace and privacy. Very clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend!

Great location, quiet yet near all Helen stores, restaurants and amenities. Clean with ample “extras” like blankets and comfort items. Hot tub and rocking chairs were a hit! Our family enjoyed this cabin during our stay, would recommend it to anyone!

It was our first time in helen. Bonnie was very easy to communicate with if we needed anything at all. The cabin was very peaceful & relaxing.

Feeling of being in the woods while close to town. A little hard to find but the pictures helped. Suggest to owner put in new reflectors...old ones are gone. But once you find it it's fine.

We booked for a last minute weekend getaway and Bonnie responded immediately.
House was clean and perfect for a nice weekend for 2 adults and 2 young children.

professional clean and very nice

Property was easy to find with the directions given. Great location, not exactly walkable to the downtown area, but very close. The kitchen equipment was well stocked with everything we needed and the hot tub was wonderful to soak in. Would stay here again.

Great cabin! Lots of wonderful amenities.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ms. Bonnie's cabin. While it was definitely close enough to walk into town, you felt like you were far enough out in the woods that you felt nicely secluded. Great cabin!
4.8
Amazing cozy cabin. We enjoyed everything that it had to offer; from the grill on the porch (we bought sausages at Betty's Market and had the best dinner), to submerging in the hot tub. It was amazing while the clear sky offered the best view of the stars, we stayed warm while the weather was 42 degrees out. Check in / check out was a piece of cake. Bonnie was always there for us online with updates and town suggestions to enjoy! Oh, and if you wake up early you might get lucky enough to watch deer roaming around, you got to be really quiet though, as noise may scare them off. 100% recommend!

Couldn’t stay long, but it was nice.

The cabin was amazing. Close to downtown but far enough that the nights were cozy, quiet, and comfortable. Definitely will return

Bavarian Brooke was as describe and we have had an awesome stay! We were able to use the hot tub twice during our stay even in the rain. We would like to book again in the future! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Our stay was great. Sitting on the porch watching deer and squirrels early mornings was amazing. Cabin is cozy and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property is beautiful and quiet. Fully furnished and so very comfy. The hot tub was amazing. The main thing though was the host. Bonnie is totally sweet and very helpful. We will definately be going back!!! You could not ask for a better host!!!! Thank You Bonnie!!!

Lovely cabin, neat, clean and very well stocked. Hot tub worked well. Only thing that put me off was a camera directly above hot tub. Felt invasive.

We enjoyed our stay immensely in January. Cabin was just like stated. Didn’t they the hot tub. Thank you Bonnie

So this was a quickly put together weekend which we truly got lucky with this secluded spot. Just close enough for anyone really looking to be away from everything but close enough that if you wanted to walk you could. The cabin was clean and refreshing. The great thing is the puzzles and board games that the family sat at the kitchen table and pushed electronics to the side. Now if you just need electronics the internet is fast and plenty of tv channels to watch. Helen is a small town with limited things for kids but my kids really enjoyed the trip. 5 out of 5 if your looking for that refreshing peaceful getaway.

The cabin was beautiful! We had a blast!

Amazing stay. Great location, great cabin, and great host! Would definitely choose this cabin again when coming to Helen.
4.8
This cabin is perfect for a small family. Hot tub was just perfect. Kitchen had all the essentials. Definitely walking distance to the towns main drag. Appreciated all the movie options with Netflix etc. Read the directions how to find cabin. Driveway a bit hidden. My only wish was for more towels and a keurig.
4.8
Great cabin, very clean, great communication from owner!
4.8
The cabin was fairly easy to find with the detailed instructions and it was very clean. Communication was fast and we throughly enjoyed our stay.
4.8
Cabin was very clean and bed very comfortable!! Furniture comfortable as well. Excellent communication with owner being sure all our needs were met. Would absolutely stay again in future and refer friends/family as well.
Be sure you arrive in daylight and you’ll have no trouble finding the road…but the reflector/red tape (now pink because of fading) is hard to see and definitely needs to be replaced. The road to the cabin is tricky and definitely, definitely!! watch out for tree stumps at bottom of hill in the curve…but with that being said if you arrive during daylight hours and get acclimated to road and cabin directions…you’ll be just fine. We found it very peaceful yet very close to town. It was a wonderful relaxing retreat and I highly suggest it to all. The owner is absolutely wonderful!!

Was perfect for our family of 3.

Make sure you show up in daylight! The cabin is well lit but the road to the cabin was not well lit or marked and difficult to find on our 1st try at night. Once there, it was easy to find again. The cabin is quaint and comfortable. Host was very responsive, and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Bonnie, we will be back again!

Overall great stay.

We loved the cabin. Very comfortable and easy walk to most places around town.
4.8
The property was as expected. It was clean and comfortable. It was a little hard to find because the red tape we were looking for had faded and we didn’t see it on the driveway to turn in. We could’ve walked to town but decided to drive cause the uphill on the way back would’ve been too much for us. The only negative would be the bathroom could use a little more light, a new shower curtain and bath rug. The rug there stays wet even after we hung it to dry. Other than that everything was good. Would definitely come back again.
