Toplocatie in mooie omgeving!

Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet dat constant werd aangevuld. Heel vriendelijk personeel!

Het was relatief druk in de ontbijtruimte doordat er in Alden Biesen een activiteit was dat weekend

Zeker een aanrader voor mensen die houden van fietsen

Het ontbijt was perfect, het personeel was vriendelijk en de locatie was fantastisch. Er was zelfs een afgesloten ruimte om fietsen te stallen en op te laden. De airconditioning werkte goed en de kamers waren schoon en netjes.

Het zwembad is behoorlijk prijzig, namelijk 15 euro per uur. Tijdens de avonduren is er in de bar echter veel te weinig personeel aanwezig, en het eten is te eenvoudig, vooral als je bedenkt dat er bordjes van de hotelschool van Kosijde aan de ingang hangen. Daarnaast is er ook te weinig variatie in het menu.

Éen grote teleurstelling !

Het ontbijt was best wel oke (wel niet zoals het hoort in een ****. Vriendelijk personeel ontbijt.

520€ voor één nacht in 3 onverzorgde kleine, kamers die niet overeenkwamen met de gekozen opties. (echt geen **** waardig). Kamers met meubilair dat afgeleefd was, vuile muren met beschadigingen, overal spinnenwebben, talrijke mankementen (oa. Uit plafond hangende spots). Alle kamers naast 2 utility rooms van onderhoudspersoneel en lift (totaal gebrek aan rust). Geen badjassen, slippers ter beschikking, extra supplement van 15€/persoon voor uurtje in klein zwembad. Zeer onvriendelijk onthaal die geen gehoor of medewerking gaf mbt de 'klachten' omdat we niet via hen geboekt hadden maar 'slechts' via Booking ! Een mooie gezinsvakantie die uitdraaide op een grote teleurstelling qua verblijf. Genoeg andere prachtige **** en ***** hotels in de buurt met full service aan 1/3 van de prijs. Nooit meer !

Subliem ontbijt! Zeer comfortabel bed + goed isolerende kamers Er is gelet op elk detail, wat zorgt voor een zeer aangenaam verblijf.

We had a great stay, some minor discomforts regarding parking and spam.

The location is amazing, the welness area and breakfast are both great

Not clear communication that the swimming pool is not included. I charged my car in the parking lot of the hotel, which was 6x as expensive as normally. I was spammed with a lot of emails / messages by the hotel.

I was charged for room 3 times. I was to pay at property which we did at end, but was chargec2 timesvahead of final checkoutNow I have to go thrru hassel of getting refunded

It is modern hotel and quite area. Personal was kind to us.

It is extrem expensive. You don't get what you pay. It is really important to know, that you have to pay 15€ for one hour in wellness for each person (and not to pay ones 15€ for your stay). And wellness is really small area. We were lucky that there were not lot of people, but up from 6-7 people it would be very busy. Breakfast is way to expensive. Our room was not really clean. All in one, this place is just not worth that money. I would definitely not come again and would never recommended to someone to go there.

Nice hotel but value for money not right.

nice hotel surrounded by nature and a beautiful castle next to it. nice breakfast and very comfortable bed.

you have to pay extra for mostly everything. The restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday. Almost no staff in the hotel, so it happened that we went to the reception or called them but there was nobody. The wellness area is way too small for the size of the hotel.

Great location, friendly staff

Breakfast was great, however it does get busy, so best to go down early. We haven’t managed to book a table for the restaurant so far as always fully booked. It’s a shame as the hotel doesn’t seem to have enough dining seating for the number of guests booked in when fully booked. Great location, polite and friendly staff. Hotel very clean, spacious rooms and good Wi-Fi.

Great hotel in a quiet area of Flanders.

Very nice, quiet and modern hotel. The modern design fits well the green neighborhood and the historic building, part of the hotel. The room is bright thanks to large windows. So are hotel corridors and the restaurant. High quality restaurant with very good dinners (gourmet) and breakfast with a wide choice. We liked particularly the choice of juices. Small, but very well equipped spa, with a well conceived outdoor terrace.

In a perfect world, we would have liked to have green tea available for breakfast and a hammam that would be working. For our personal taste, we would prefer to have drawers in the bed tables and better arranged shelves for clothes in closets.

Cleanliness and room comfort

Not advised that restaurants were prebookable at checkin, tried to book in for our 4 night stay and none had any availability or were intermittently closed resulting in ordering food externally most nights. Hotel claims to offer room service so tried this but the staff stated this wasn’t available 2/4 nights due to a wedding in the hotel. The only bar was also closed as was the Akko restaurant meaning in house guests couldn’t get a drink or any food on site. Really poor considering the hotel is a 4*. Such a shame as the location and aesthetics of the hotel are lovely, and the rooms were spotless and comfy. Overall wouldn’t visit again

Great design, too expensive

The breakfast was great, the location and general architecture are wonderful. The beds were nice and the staff helpful. The wellness area was clean and relaxing.

It's too expensive for what you get. It's nice but not exceptional and I received way too many messages to upgrade ... (almost made me want to cancel). The restaurant was closed due to a wedding so we couldn't eat there.

Very nice location, perfect for hiking or walking

The bar was closed on Saturday evening because there was a wedding at the hotel the same evening. We could not sleep with an open window because the music was too loud. On Sunday morning the breakfast room was too crowded, so people had to wait until they could get a free table. The staff could not keep up with cleaning the tables and refilling the drinks and food. The wellness area is too small for the amount of rooms. There are not enough beds to relax, so some people just had to leave again because they had nowhere to sit.
