We had a wonderful week at Villa Les Cascades. This is a very special property in a most unique location. Not a sound to be heard apart from the birds and the river cascading down through the woods. The house itself was lovely and the terrace had the most wonderful views and we had many delightful meals here, morning, noon and night. The pool area is great with all the facilities you may need to stay put all day. Tourettes is a short (uphill) walk away and is a pretty, unique village with a couple of lovely restaurants.
Paul and Guillemette were great hosts, really helpful and unobtrusive. We will be back!

We had an amazing stay. The views, location and setting were perfect. The river was not flowing due to recent droughts, never the less the walk to the river and down to the bridge was great. It’s a pretty area.
The infinity pool looking out over that view more than made up for it.
Paul and Guillemette were fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for more.
Tourette’s is a lovely place and just a short walk away. There are many beautiful villages within a short drive.
I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Perfect hosts and a lovely setting for a holiday rental
Nearby art scene and restaurants were most enjoyable.
Could have happily stayed longer which is unusual for me.
Hope you get some rain soon though.

Good location to get to Cannes (40mins) and Monaco (1 hour). Quiet setting but near to villages for evening drinks/meals when needed. Gite pleasant with aircon to the bedrooms which is much needed in the summer heat and pool lovely.

We had a wonderful week staying at Villa Cascades! Paul and Guillemete were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and helpful. Our car broke down on the way to the villa and they were really helpful, booking a garage for us and helping us translate the issue with our car. The villa is beautiful, has perfect views and is very well equipped for self catering/barbecuing. We wish we had booked a longer stay! Thank you :)

We have just returned from a week at Villa les Cascades, where we had the most wonderful time.
The villa itself is beautiful, with plenty of space, and a stunning pool which was kept perfectly clean by our hosts. The bedrooms had excellent air conditioning, and the kitchen had everything we needed to have lunches and dinners at the villa. The dining table outside was a wonderful setting for some long lunches under the shady pergola.
We spent some time down by the river, which although it wasn’t flowing as it usually would be due to a drought, was still very pretty and peaceful, with pools for a paddle.
Tourettes is a picture-perfect village (a short walk up a hilly path), with art adorning the walls, and two very good restaurants. We also walked into Fayence, which has great views and lots of shops and restaurants.
We visited Seillans which was equally lovely. A brilliant day out was had at the gorgeous Lac St Cassien, where were hired paddle boards and the children went on the inflatable obstacle course. There was a really good cafe there and we hired sunbeds. It was so much fun.
From the villa we also visited Cannes and Frejus, where there was a great fairground and beautiful sandy beach.
Our hosts Paul and Guillemette were very helpful, kind and welcoming, and gave us privacy whilst also being on hand if anything was needed. They were excellent hosts- thank you.
I would recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful setting with plenty to do nearby.

Our family has just been on holiday at the villa in Tourettes with hospitable Paul and Guillemette as perfect hosts. They welcomed us with a tour and lots of good ideas for exploring the local area. The villa is well designed with 2x rooms at each end, which makes it perfect for two families. The kitchen is well equipped, the wifi works flawlessly and the pool area is fantastic. We spent all evenings on the covered terrace, where there is charming French decor and a comfortable lounge area. The villa is secluded on a large natural plot with bathing lakes and forest paths. The house is incredibly well-kept, and the surrounding garden well-tended with bourgonvillaes and cypress trees. Easy to reach
by car from Nice Airport. Can recommend Lac St Cassien as an excursion destination. No doubt we will be back! 10/10 stars!

This was our first big family holiday post Covid, and our 10 month old granddaughter’s first holiday. We couldn’t have wanted more. We know the area well and have stayed in some great places over the years but Villa Les Cascades has it all: a lovely house, beautiful pool and gardens, stunning views, as well as a river running through it creating gorgeous swimming pools. All of this and the village bar a short 10 minute (steepish) walk away. A fantastic break for our grown up kids, our new granddaughter, and for us parents (and now grandparents) We all love, love, loved it.
We were blessed with proper S France weather, but on the one day (out of 3 weeks) where the weather turned for 24 hours, it was easy to be in the house.
Then there is Paul and Guillemette, our hosts. Their passion for their stunning property is obvious. Whilst they are on hand to sort out anything that needs sorting, as well as maintaining the pool and garden to a standard that we have never experienced, guests are left to get on and enjoy their holiday. Absolutely 5***** all round. We definitely plan to return. Thank you so much P&G x

The villa was spacious, comfortable and a really relaxing place to stay. Lovely owners who were available if needed. Great infinity pool with far reaching views, and a river flowing in the private grounds with pools to swim in and cascades to clamber up!
Walking distance to the village, great location and everything you need for a fantastic vacation in Provence. Thanks Guillemette and Paul!

This holiday rental is one of the best we have ever stayed in.
The house and surrounding property are exceptional. The house is spacious and well equipped and the gardens beautifully tended. The pool and pool area are well equipped and it even has its own 'pétanque' pitch. The big surprise is the .....I won't disclose this but when you see it you'll understand why because it's straight out of a fairytale!

We spend a great week at Paul and Guillemettes house this summer. The house is very charming and well equiped. Lovely bedrooms with good beds and aircondition. There is an amazing view of the mountains from the terrasse in front of the house.
The pool is big and the view from the pool-area is also stunning.
The river is refreshing and absolutely amazing with small pools deep enough to jump in even in mid-summer. We even did “canyon-walks” up “our” river which was an absolutely unique experience. It felt like a small piece of paradise :-)
Thanks Paul and Guillemette for being such nice hosts!

What an amazing week we had at this absolutely stunning location. Our hosts were so welcoming with both Paul and Guillimette on hand to help in anyway we needed. They also had a gorgeous dog called nushka who our children absolutely loved. The house is perfectly placed to allow the most amazing views into the tree tops and the mountains beyond. The house was perfect for us and we enjoyed beautiful dinners overlooking the stunning view beneath the stars. The most special part of this paradise was the private river that runs through the property and the stunning waterfalls that create deep pools. The children loved exploring and even though the temperature is a little chilly they were not put off and had a very special time there most days. The pool area is perfect and the infinity pool felt like we were swimming amongst the trees!! We explored the local area on foot and having both Tourette’s and Fayence within easy walking distance made this even more attractive. We had lovely dinners in both places and also ventured to Saint Paul De Vence which was stunning. Overall this place was just incredible. We would love to go back and thanks again to our lovely hosts who looked after us so well.

Our week in Les Cascades exceeded our expectations. We were a party of 5 including my 92 year old mother and Paul and Guillemette were wonderful welcoming hosts, who have created a magical setting for a perfectly relaxing holiday. We never strayed far from the stunning pool although a dip in the very refreshing (and cold!) Cascades is a challenge not to be missed. There are some lovely restaurants nearby including one within walking distance in Tourettes itself. Now back to the rain in England we remember our very happy days spent on the terrace with its stunning view and only the sound of rushing water and birdsong.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable week at Villa les Cascades. The villa is well situated on the outskirts of the Medieval village of Tourrettes and is within walking distance of Fayence although it is very much an uphill walk into the village from the bottom of the drive but well worth it.
We found the villa to be well equipped and we especially appreciated the poolside kitchen/BBQ with hob and fridge/freezer which was very convenient for spending all day at the pool. The layout of the villa worked well for us with the bedrooms over two floors located either side of the lounge/diner/kitchen area.
The property is terraced with the villa on one level and the gated pool below reached down a slope with broad steps. The pool is heated with loungers and views down the valley.
Paul the owner gave us a very helpful orientation trip to Tourrettes & Fayence showing us the local shops, restaurants etc. Several large supermarkets are within 10 minutes drive.
Unique to the villa are “les cascades” which provided great enjoyment to our son-in-law and daughters.
Great place for a family stay. We had our recently mobile toddler grandson with us so care was needed due to the steps and terraces.

We loved everything about this property: the spacious well equipped house, the pool, the view, the large terrace, the secluded and peaceful location (but still walking distance to Tourettes and Fayence), the river running through the property...we had a wonderful and very relaxing holiday there in July with our 4 children aged from 9 to 14yrs. Highly recommended!

Our favourite villa yet booked through Owners Direct: 2 hectares with well-equipped villa; poolhouse & BBQ area; personal boules pit; gorgeous terrace and spectacular views all round.
And then there's the little pathway through your own woods with multiple waterfalls and natural pools in your very own stream, which our children loved. They spent hours every day jumping into the stream all the way down to the bridge (where the grounds end), then climbing back up the rocks in the water.
The local village of Tourrettes is a haven for artists, and the little square by the town hall a real treat (again with amazing views) for a drink or bite to eat.
Fayence is only 10-15 minutes walk up the hill to the local baker; butcher and restaurants, and has a small supermarket that stocks English papers amongst other groceries etc.
The local lake (St. Cassien) is only 15 minutes drive away, and great for swimming; hiring pedalos (our kids loved having a pedalo with a slide off the back); kayaks or venturing (in life jackets) onto the obstacle course of large inflatables in the water.
Owners Paul, Guillemette and their dog Noushka are very welcoming and on hand (next door) for any guidance as to where to visit locally; to show you around if required, but very much leave guests to their own peace and quiet.
We adored Les Cascades and will definitely return to share with additional family members and friends: special, special, special! We fell in love with it....

A lovely villa, in a wonderful location with delightful owners.
We stayed for a 2 week holiday and could have easily stayed another week! The villa location is truly special set within the owners grounds amongst trees and floral beds. The views from the terrace and pool are spectacular with the sound of the river below. The local village is within walking distance albeit slightly hilly and the slightly larger town of fayence within easy reach with local amenities. We enjoyed some excellent meals in both Tourettes and Fayence. The house is an ideal base to explore the coast and we particularly enjoyed our trips to St. Tropez, St. Raphael and Monte Carlo. The latter is a must for F1 enthusiasts and it's not as expensive as you think. We ate in a lovely restaurant in a square just off the main promenade which was very reasonable.
The villa is light and airy and the beds extremely comfortable. All the bedrooms are a good size and there's plenty of seating areas both within the property and around the grounds.
We had never stayed in a property where the owners live within the grounds as we enjoy peace and seclusion, which we found here. Paul and Guillemette (the owners) are lovely people and we enjoyed having them easily accessible to offer advice and suggestions for days out. They were completely unobtrusive, respecting our privacy whilst being friendly and helpful at the same time. An added bonus was their boxer puppy, Nouschka who came to visit us on invitation.
I would certainly recommend this villa and hope to return ourselves in the not too distant future.

Paul and his wife could not be more helpful and welcoming. Mum, dad and older teenagers all completely relaxed after a week in late May at Les Cascades... 100% recommend thisvilla

This is a wonderfully comfortable, well equipped and spacious villa in a truly spectacular setting - incredible views and even a natural stream with waterfalls on site. Everything has been thought of and we had a fantastic and very relaxing week there in August with our 4 children aged from 4 to 13yrs. The stunning infinity pool was a huge hit with all the family and we spent many hours of fun there. We enjoyed walking to the nearby villages and visiting the market but our main aim was to relax and we couldn't have found a more perfect and beautiful place to do so. A big thanks to the extremely kind and helpful owners who go out of their way to ensure a relaxing holiday for their guests... we very much hope to see you again! Highly recommended.
