My family stayed at this property for almost 2 weeks and it was truly a "home away from home"! Candida was one of the best property owners we've dealt with. She was very thoughtful and always available to assist us if needed. She greeted us when we arrived and provided us with delicious pasteis natas (traditional pastry) from a local business - this was absolutely the best especially after a very long flight ! Candida thought of everything when supplying the house that catered to everyone regardless of your preferences. She made our stay one of the best from providing all the essentials that anyone would need (including 3 types of coffee makers depending on your preference). The house was very clean, beds were very comfortable which is a must for a good night sleep; she provided printouts of everything from the TV channels to brochures for points of interests, maps indicating area restaurants, trails, groceries, etc. There is a sliding door that can be used for privacy that separated the 2nd bedroom and bathroom from the rest of the house - this was a plus for my young adult son - it was like having his own place. The house is located in a quiet area that is just minutes away from the center of Cascais by car where all the tourists go/stay - absolutely perfect ! There is also a book for her guests to leave a special message of their stay - loved it! We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property and would DEFINITELY stay here again !

This place is nestled into a small community that has friendly residents, great small local markets and a couple of great restaurants...all within walking distance. We were in town for a wedding in Cascais, yet didn't want to spend the nights in the big city, so we chose Cobre! The host met us in person at the house, showed us were everything was, had a map to show where stores and restaurants were located and the local trails to get around town. We were close enough to walk to Cascais and did it a couple of times, otherwise, we took an Uber, which was very affordable ($3-$12) depending on time of day. I couldn't say enough great things about our stay and the memories that we made while we stayed here!!!

Candida went above and beyond with me. First, because I had no car, she gave me a tour of the surrounding area up the coast, showing me her favorite sunset spot. She gave me maps with hiking trail and recommended restaurants in the neighborhood. Wonderful home. Wonderful experience.

Check in process was fantastic and the property manager went over and above to welcome us and give us great information on local sights, restaurants, shopping, neighborhood …. She was proactive in communication and went over the property thoroughly. We would definitely rent from them again in the future.

A nice, and very clean little house, which has erverything you need for 2,3 or 4 persons. You find all sites of interest, like Sintra, Cascais, Lisbon near by. Also many beaches, good restaurants an all you need for holiday.

A great place to stay - spacious and well-equipped and Candida was very welcoming and helpful. The property is slightly further from the centre of Cascais than we realised but that was my mistake for not checking location more thoroughly. It was very easy to travel to the coast and Sintra.

Perfect location

A sparkling clean, smart furnished and well finished house in A quiet neighborhood. Easy check in with a very service oriented lady. We just didn’t want to have this due to recent delta C19 outbreak and the fact we read up on everything as we were visiting to explore the area for a possible relocation. The place has all amenities needed. Two coffee machines, large fridge, plenty of cutlery and cooking equipments. We could have easily stayed here comfortably for some months and were not looking to leave after our three weeks stay. you can easily stay with 4 or 1 couple plus two kids. The couch can also be converted into a comfy bed. good showers. Very good mattrasses, not the bad spring ones we found at other houses in Portugal during the past months. We love that everything is within 20 minutes or less by car. 2 minutes to the highway for north, south or Lisboa. 5 golfcourses within 20 minutes for the golf enthusiasts. Two good ones within 10 minutes (Quinta da Mar and Oitavos Dunes). Forest, cliffs, dunes, beach, city. All in the vicinity. You feel you are in the city without any of the downsides of a city. Nearby large supermarkets (car) and small ones (walking). comfortable outside area with good table and chairs. Would easily come back here regularly for a few weeks. Host is very available although we didn’t need her for anything as the place is complete.

My sons and I stayed for 3 games of Golf at Oitavos Dunes GC. The property is ideally located with the golf course a 10 minute drive away. The Owner is very very helpful and greeted us warmly with some traditional Portuguese tarts. If you are looking for a very reasonable priced, high quality comfortable bungalow. This is top of my list.

Candida ist eine sehr nette Vermieterin, es hat alley super geklappt, einige Dinge waren für 2 Wochen vorhanden, die man normalerweise selber einkaufen muss, wie z.B. Gewürze, Zewa, Toilettenpapier etc. die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, die 2 Kochfelder kann man mit kleineren Töpfen gleichzeitig benutzen. Ein Auto ist Voraussetzung, um von der Wohnung in die Stadt oder zum Strand zu kommen, aber es sind nur 10 min Fahrten. Es gibt in der Umgebung viel zu erleben. Die Beschreibung trifft zu 100% zu. Danke für einen tollen Urlaub.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cette petite maison à Cobre, à côté de Cascais, elle était bien équipée, c'était très bien, les literies très confortables, la décoration était très belle, la propriétaire a bon goût. Candida nous a accueilli très chaleureusement, elle est bien sympathique, nous a tout explique sur la maison et les environs, les petits magasins dans le village, surtout une boulangerie tout prêt, qui était bien pratique le matin, Candida était toujours prête à nous aider, à l'écoute, très aimable et souriante !!!!! Nous recommandons cette location...et d'ailleurs nous y retournerons, merci Candida !

Un immense merci à Candida & Luís pour leur accueil si chaleureux, leurs petites attentions et leurs conseils si précieux pour découvrir les adresses inédites de la région. Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine ici. Merci pour votre disponibilité , tout était parfait ! La maison a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer de très bonnes vacances (terrasse ensoleillée , barbecue, bonne literie, etc.) et est située dans un environnement calme et très charmant ! D’abord ,un très bon accueil de Luis et Candida, il sont chaleureux et on le soucis de bien faire et du bien être de leurs locataires. La location est pensée pour répondre à tous les besoins des locataires dans le moindre détail, rien n’est laissé au hasard! La maison est très propre , la aussi on ne peux faire mieux ! La seule chose est qu’il est difficile de repartir. Merci à Luis et Candida.

Housy 2 is a really nice place to stay, it was very clean, well equipped and beautiful decorated. We had everything we needed. Cândida and her husband are great hosts and gave us a lot of informations about the surrounding and things to see. She gave us the best welcome we ever had with some delicious snacks and drinks etc. We would definitely recommend this place for a holidaystay and would be happy to return on our next trip to Cascais.

Our hostess/owner was wonderful- so helpful, so easy to contact. Good value for money and the house was clean, nicely renovated. The location was in a neighbourhood away from anything. Cascais was disappointing as a location to explore Sintra.
