Okay für 2 Tage, aber Preis-Leistung stimmen nicht.

Gut ausgestattete Küche, Fliegengitter an den Fenstern, Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden. Das gym gegenüber ist nicht störend.

Es war alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht wirklich herzlich eingerichtet. War bestimmt mal richtig schön, aber es ist nicht gut gepflegt. Im Bad sind dunkle Flecken um das Fenster. Wir hatten die Wohnung im 1. Stock- da könnte man die Pflanzen etwas kürzen, damit man ungehindert hochkommt. Zudem muss man bar bezahlen.

Halte réparatrice à Monteverde

Waze connait l'adresse et on se gare devant l'escalier. Codes entrée et wifi fournis par avance ce qui facilite les échanges WhatsApp avec Vanessa dont l'accueil est sympathique. Construction moderne efficiente. L'équipement est complet dont un mini four grille-pain. Presque un plaisir de faire la lessive d'une semaine à 4 personnes en une seule machine (19 kgs !) et de tout sécher pendant le repas du soir au restaurant.

Lovely, comfortable, modern apartment in Santa Elena.

Lovely modern apartment, nicely decorated, comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen with 2 ring induction hob, microwave and small oven/ grill, coffee maker and kettle. The kettle was useful to heat water for washing up, like most of the places we stayed in Costa Rica the tap water is the ambient temperature. Washing machine holds 19 kg, and there's a huge tumble dryer. Good shower with lots of hot water . Host Vanessa was lovely and super helpful, she organised a tour for us much cheaper than we could have booked ourselves on line. The property doesn't have any signage, Vanessa will send you a link to Google maps. It is directly opposite the gym. The gym has lots of equipment albeit a bit outdated but they work . Day pass was 3000 colones(2024) There are a couple of restaurants within a few minutes walk . The central town area is about a 10 minute walk on pavements which were lit at night . Great value for money. We travelled by car, the roads to the property are all good . The property is within a few minutes walking distance of the main road.

Coming from the temperate UK, I struggle to sleep in the warmth of Costa Rica, a fan would be a lovely addition. There was some noise from dogs and motorbikes

Short stay in Monteverde

Good location for local amenities and a great base to explore the wider areas. Excellent facilities for self catering. Very good contact with the owner, who can help book activities and attractions.

Superb

Nice apartment to stay in Santa Elena. The best of it is the gist Vanessa. She was beyond helpful and responded quickly to our messages. Even booked a ziplining tour for us!

Great, comfortable apartment close to town with a fantastic host

What an amazing stay! Vanessa was so friendly and helpful. She gave us all the information before hand so arrival and check in was super easy. The location was great for us. Short walk out of town, quiet, good food within walking distance. Felt like we were at home. Va essa helped us book tours and made loads of recommendations. The apartment was clean, washing machine and dryer (important for a travelling family of 5!), satellite tv. Biiiig beds! :)) left the doors open when we were there, felt super safe. Felt like we were at home.

Great stay with a great host in Monteverde!

Everything you might need was there. Great apartment, near everything. Communication with Vanessa was great, she gave us a lot of information and answered really fast. We loved that there was a washing machine ánd a dryer, so convenient.

The apartment was very clean and well furnished with everything we needed. Walking distance to town. The manager was very helpful. We had a nice view of the sunset!

This appartment was the best one on our 2 weeks way through Costa Rica - fully equiped and mainly, support and speed of replies from Vanesa was anazing. many many thanks for everything!

We stayed there for a few days and participated in a few regional activities (nature related)

Host Vanessa is fantastic. She answered quickly to a few requests and helped us with everything. Remember to bring cash money to pay her directly.

Nothing the host could do about, but remember the location has a lot of wind and you would hear it a lot at night. This could wake you up if you are not used to it.

Great location, and well equipped house.

Casa monarca has everything you need to spend a great time in Monteverde. The house is well equipped, with comfortable rooms, very clean kitchen and bathroom, and a perfect location close to supermarket, tours and close to the center of the town. Without doubts we will return in a future holiday in Monteverde area.

Great place in Monteverde

The flat is very modern and well equipped. The communication with the host was perfect with a lot of information sent ahead of our arrival. A perfect stay in Monteverde.

It was very windy at night and you can hear it a lot in the flat. Not a problem for me as I like falling asleep when it is windy, but might be a problem for certain people.
