Locatie dicht bij busstation, aardige gastheer!
Beetje krap aan de ontbijttafel.

Quiet suburban location on 73 bus route for access to the centre of town in 15 minutes.
CCTV is used inside the property and hot tub was not available.

We picked Haarlem because we did not want to stay in Amsterdam and we went for cheaper options. Not only it was cheaper here but it was really good! It was perfect choice to stay at this property and in this beautiful city!
I highly reccomend for everyone who wants to feel what real Dutch life feels like. Tips for the city and this location : RENT A BIKE. Location is perfect, but it is little bit outside the city. If you take a bike, it only takes about 10-15 minutes from accomodation to center of city. From there - you can take train to Amsterdam or if you are brave enough like we - you can just take a ride around the area on bikes. It is perfect experience!
Breakfast was just okay, exactly what we needed. Since we stayed outside the room all day and slept little bit longer in morning - owner did just perfect thing keeping the breakfast until almost noon.
Also, it is very important to respect where you arrived and not think that Netherlands is open for you to behave like you want. They have high tolerance on lot of things, but it doesnt mean you cant respect where you are.
Owners were friendly and respectfull - we even stayed one extra night.
Worth visiting because you will feel real Dutch life in just few days...
We are really sorry for waking up owners family in the middle of the night because we did not have double keys, but we personally think it is not our mistake since we were not being told about "keys box" outside the house.
But there is still only love. This is just note and not critic.

We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment is located in a quiet and idyllic road in the outskirts of Haarlem. Don't let the road there fool you. For us, it was the perfect location to discover the city and the region (including Zandvoort beach) with our bikes and Amsterdam by train. The hosts are very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was rich and diverse. Absolutely enjoyed it.

clean, quiet, lovely
walls are a bit thin so i was able to hear someone snoring at night, not a big deal for me since I was just there for a night but just a fair warning for any light sleepers out there

Very clean, comfortable and friendly, helpful host.
4.5
Very warm welcome with useful tips from the owner, silent surrounding and a beautiful way to get to the city by bike.
There was no coffee machine at the breakfast so we had to prepare it in our room (first floor) and walk with it the narrow staircase.
4.5
Clean and comfortable room, good staff, private jacuzzi and sauna
We wanted to use sauna and jacuzzi and we had to pay 25 euro extra for cleaning. That was not mentioned in the booking. We have been informed via mail, just a day before our reservation.
