About this apartment rental
Built in 2005, Pierre de Lune 011 is a large (150 sq/m) two-storey apartment in a private chalet containing only five residences. The contemporary, comfortable and spacious interior has stone floors, rugs, a real fire, subtle wood walls and furniture, all contributing to the alpine experience. Outside there’s a large balcony with steps to the lovely garden and terrace. Whether you’re after a cosy winter retreat or a summer mountain experience, Pierre de Lune has everything you need for maximum enjoyment of this exclusive ski resort all year round.
Location:
A 5-minute bus ride from Place Centrale, which is close to the lift station and all amenities. The bus is free and the bus stop is a 2-minute walk from the chalet. There is another ski lift, Les Savoleyres, a 5-minute walk from the chalet.
Bedrooms:
The three bedrooms (two doubles, one twin) are on the ground floor, two of which open onto the terrace and garden through French windows. The third bedroom is the largest and located to the rear of the property and although it does not have windows, it is very well ventilated. All rooms are en-suite, with one bathroom and two shower-rooms. The showers are powerful and there is plenty of hot water. All rooms have plenty of storage, with built-in wardrobes. The beds are sturdy and very comfortable. Duvets and pillows are made from down and the bed linen is cotton.
First floor:
Upon entering the apartment there is a hallway with plenty of hanging space and a shelving unit with individual storage boxes for each guests’ gloves, hats and goggles. There is also an upstairs toilet.
The apartment opens out into a kitchen/dining/sitting room. The kitchen is new and fully fitted with all modern conveniences: 4 ceramic hobs, convection oven, microwave, marble work surfaces, sink, dishwasher, tall fridge freezer and breakfast bar. The cupboards are stocked with non-perishable items, along with all the pots, pans and crockery you need.
The dining table seats eight and in the sitting area there’s a very comfortable, oversized sofa and a bean bag.
Outside:
The views are superb, and as good as anywhere in the village - uninterrupted across the valley to the Petit Combin and Grand Combin. There is a large balcony (with barbeque) accessed from either the sitting room or garden with enough room to seat a dinner party in the summer. There is also a large garden with terrace accessible from the balcony or bedrooms.
Facilities:
There is a washing machine and a separate dryer in the apartment. All rooms have underfloor heating, regulated by individual thermostats in each room, ensuring you come home to a warm reception. There’s also a real fire for cosy winter evenings.
If you drive here there is parking for two cars in the underground car park, with lift access straight up to the chalet.
Pets:
Pets are permitted, as long as this is mentioned at the time of booking and owners take full responsibility for them and accept liability for any damage they may cause.
Entertainment:
The large flat screen television is connected to the cable network, which has several English-speaking channels including BBC, ITV and Sky News. There is a device that is connected to the TV with a large number of movies on it and there is broadband internet access throughout. There are cards and board games in the cupboard below the TV.
Please note the changeover day is Sunday.

You can’t beat the views! Stayed here with my spouse and two older kids (ages 17, 19) for my 50th bday. More than enough room for the four of us for a week. Cooked several meals and ate on the deck…beautiful views. Quick and very helpful communication from owner! Visited Chamonix, Zermatt, and Aosta, Italy. All of the on mountain restaurants were amazing! Would definitely return.

We spent a week in Verbier in mid-late march. The apartment is very comfortable, immaculate, and very convenient to buses into the village. The owner probably has the record for prompt responses to emails, regardless of day or time. The views from the living room and balcony are wonderful, and a Michelin-starred restaurant with a lovely outdoor bar is within walking distance (with an even better view).

We had an excellent time in Verbier and one of the highlights of the stay was this property. Comfortable, spacious, convenient, well equipped, and excellent service.

My family enjoyed our stay in this lovely home with all of the amenities. The view from the deck was beautiful and it was nice to have a front lawn and lawn chairs to lie out on. We arrived to some food staples which was super helpful for breakfasts! There were lots of games & movies and a big comfy couch we enjoyed after long days of hiking.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the view and the well equipped apartment. If we come back to Verbier we will definitely stay at Mr Morisons apartement again.

We stayed over the Christmas holiday and had a great time. The chalet photos don’t do it justice. We also very much enjoyed the restaurant recommendations: La Marlenaz, Le Rouge, Chez Dany, and Au Vieux Verbier.
We didn’t drive and relied on the bus and train system and we didn’t have any issues.

We wanted to see Switzerland by summer and though we have spent 12 winter vacations in Verbier we’d never seen it in summer. This property is in the general area we usually go so we know (and love) the steep walk to the town center (you could of course drive).
Property was clean, well equipped, easy to find and cozy. Views were stunning and we had a great time there. Really loved BBQ’ing and sitting outside in the evening.
Owner responds very quickly and all went smooth - was an excellent experience.

For 3 adult couples or a family group of 6 this is a really great property. Compared to some other places we've rented it is really spacious and super comfortable. You are litterally a 5 min downhill walk to the Savolyeres lift or there's a bus stop 1 minute up the hill to take you up to Carrefour which is the quickest way to get up to Medran or you can also get the bus down to the centre of town. All of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms which are very clean and a good size.

We enjoyed our evenings around the log fire in this cosy, luxurious, apartment. It felt like a home from home. Stunning views, great location. The welcome food basket was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. We felt very well looked after.
The weather was sunny, the sky blue and the snow perfect. Couldn't have been better.

This apartment has it all : quiet and peaceful, so luxurious, a really stunning view for breakfast on the terrace, impeccable service including welcome basket and weekly cleaning. The perfect home base for a summer hiking and cycling holiday.

This is a very impressive apartment, everything you could need including a welcome basket/starter kit (wine, bread, milk, cereal etc.) plus a stunning view. It is a little way out of Verbier central but is serviced by a regular free bus. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen are well appointed. We were even met at the gondola and taken by car with our luggage to the apartment. They were even able to provide an extra bed for an unexpected guest. Our stay in Verbier in Pierre de Lune 011 was exceptional.
