Everything!
The location is ideal (central but not too much so far from tourists), the room was amazing (cold at night be prepared), the tours offered were great but the best of the best are the people we met; the hostess and the guide (Juan Carlos) were amazing!
3.0
The owner, Alma and the tour guide, Carlos were both very nice people. The tour was fantastic although I wish there had been more time to discover more about the Tarahumara people. Alma and her helper prepared a nice breakfast according to our wishes and the beds were clean and warm. Alma was responsive when she was contacted about the apartment not having water pressure or hot water. The unit was spacious.
The property is divided into two sections; one old (think hunting lodge built in the early 60's no insulation in the middle of an active lumber yard and you have the picture) and the other newly (4 years old) constructed with laundry, kitchen, new beds, heaters, parking space, etc., We arrived at nite and ascended a stairwell with no lights and suitcases in hand, had no hot water or water pressure. The fireplace had no screen or fireplace tools thereby creating an unsafe situation. The coffee maker did not work and when we finally did get warm water and pressure the water pressure only lasted a very short time.

Large room - but hard to heat with small gas fire
Quiet
Good walk from Main Street of Creel ( restaurants etc) and not a pleasant walk at night.
Use of ‘shared kitchen’ by clients not clear
Room didn’t appear to have been cleaned before arrival, lots of flies and dust on floor

The breakfast at the hotel is delightful, and the host is great. The hotel partners with a good tour agency that offers competitive prices for activities around Creel.
Our bathroom had no lights or heat (but there was hot water). It got to -5C at night, so not having heat in the bathroom was a pretty inconvenient issue.

Wifi good, shower hot (though bathroom freezing). Breakfast good when available. Good amount of bedding considering freezing temperatures at night. Room spacious. Good amount of plugs.
Transparent curtains not good at all, especially when light on. Proper curtains would also keep light out and heat in. Heating not adequate to make temperature ok at any time, especially in the morning. Note about 10 minutes walk from centre of town, ,long way to carry luggage, torch helpful at night though most of way lit. Creel is also cursed by lots of stray dogs and all dogs bark all night, wherever you are in the town.

The property is nice and quiet, tucked away off the main streets of Creel. Lovely big beds and lots of blankets, which was perfect as we were staying in December in freezing weather! The highlight of staying at Las Quintas is getting to meet Diana and Alma, who are exceptional hosts. We took a kayaking tour with Diana on Lake Arareco which was fantastic and so beautiful. She arranged everything for us and we had a great morning as a result. Alma’s breakfasts are a must if you are staying at the villas - she cooks wonderful Mexican food with great skill and variety. Everything was delicious and with a special attention to detail (cinnamon and cloves in the coffee, fluffy pancakes, wonderful Mexican eggs with rosti potatoes and quesadillas) - yum! Alma also did our laundry beautifully for a small fee, and very kindly drove us to the bus station on the day of our departure. Stay at Las Quintas to meet these wonderful locals and receive a much more personal touch than you would in a nearby hotel. Thank you Diana and Alma!! We hope to see you again in the future :)
Nothing to dislike about the property, and the value for money is exceptional. However do be sure to pack warm clothes if visiting Creel in the winter!

Fairly near to town centre. Comfortable bed, good sized room. They allowed us to leave our luggage early. Friendly staff.
TV offered only one channel.

- very friendly stuff!
- free pickup from bus and transfer to bus at departure
- very good and friendly communication before arrival and during stay
- offering different private tours with good prices
- clean rooms
- enough blankets and heater for cold nights
- not in the center but no long walking distance
- breakfast a bit expensive but good service
- the surrounding has a lot of potential and could be a garden or something
