Enjoy your Summer Beach Retreat at this Spacious Cottage located on 1 acre of land that is 3 blocks walking distance to Newcomb Beach .....1 of 5 Lake Michigan beaches on the North Side of South Haven.
Freshly repainted throughout Dec, 2023.

The yard is spacious with gardens, and lots of children's play space.
Viewing nature at it's finest, often deer & wild turkeys are seen in the back yard!

And, you can easily walk a few blocks to see a beautiful, picturesque sunset over
Lake Michigan! A nice path for riding bikes is across the street so you can ride
or walk to the Lake and nearby subdivision with your family... basketball courts
are close by also at Baseline Middle School for older children

Gas and charcoal grills provided. along with Fire-Pit
Cooler, Children's Wagon & Beach basket provided for your convenience!

What a GREAT property! We loved the warm welcome with a little chalk sign! The beach-themed décor made us feel that vacation vibe right away. Our little ones absolutely loved seeing the wildlife that visited the yard each day: deer, turkeys, and even a ground hog. The beds were comfortable and the couches gave us a great hangout to watch TV together. The location is excellent, being just a quick drive to downtown, but being away so that it could also be quiet. The walk to Newcomb Beach is easy and doable for the 4 year old. It was obvious that the hosts genuinely care about their guests having a wonderful experience! We will be back for sure!!

We loved our stay here! Super close to Newcome beach which was less crowded than the other options near by. The quiet setting was relaxing and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the yard. We look forward to returning!

Our family has vacationed in South Haven for the past 10 years. This was our first year staying on the North side of the beach and we loved it! It was close proximity to the water but also secluded and private. Plenty of space for a family of 6 and very clean and well kept. Large yard for the kids to play and we loved seeing all the deer, wild turkeys and bunnies throughout the day! I would just suggest bringing your own toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags and household essentials. We were not prepared for that. Great stay!

Griffin Pointe is a great place to stay in South Haven. The location is great. It's a short drive or walk to several beaches, parks, fabulous restaurants (Taste) and shops. The house is very clean and has everything you need. We had four girls in our group. We each had our own bed, and it was great to have 2 full bathrooms! Sitting out on the deck we saw 2 deer and a buck in the yard. I would highly recommend Griffin Pointe for your stay in South Haven.

Property was clean, had a good kitchen, and was in a quiet location. Enjoyed being close enough to walk to the beach without having to be downtown South Haven. Railing on the deck was made of rope and not very secure.

Very cute, comfortable, "beachy" home down the block from the beach and close to downtown South Haven. Great yard with deck, corn hole, fire pit, and beach chairs and toys, wagon and cookers for the beach. Nice neighborhood. Hosts were quick to respond. The house was very clean and well appointed. I would recommend this place and we'd stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property was clean, inviting, and had all the amenities as listed. The yard was beautiful and a great accompaniment to the home. Location was great as it was close to the water yet quiet. Check in and check out was easy and the hosts responded promptly to my messages. I would highly recommend staying here!

Enjoyed the wildlife in area, short drive to beach parks, updated appliances Dated bedding, bedrooms, bathrooms, Kitchen dishes and cookware outdated floors uneven and creaky, No hot tub as advertised. yard unkept. No instructions or information for use of TV.

This was our second time staying at this house and had wonderful time. The single story layout is perfect for our young children. The large yard was great for playing outside and the easy 5 minute walk to public beach is very convenient. We plan to stay again at this house in the future

This had both quiet country side with deer and other friendly birds. The lake was so close, clean and never over crowded! All amenities were available to us. Thanks for this little piece of heaven!

We have been coming to the sand dunes for years- this is the first time we did a VRBO… we won’t be able to go back to a hotel. This house was perfect for 3 older teens and their moms. It was a perfect girls get away- we will be back!!!! Thank you for your hospitality.

Overall, loved our stay. Two adults and three under 10. Room for playing, great nature all around (turkeys and deer) beds for all, fires at night, movies too and the popcorn was a nice treat. Great to be able to drive quickly (or walk if you can manage) to catch the sunset at Newcomb Beach, close to town and the Pier/North Beach/South Beach for touristy activity. The only complaint we would have was the pervasive musty stench. Being our first stay in South Haven, we were unsure if it is from being near the water and it is common of most homes in the area, or if there were some unforeseen water damage issues in the home that are not being addressed currently. My husband assured me two nights in the environment would not harm us, and we opened the windows to help air it out. Still, if you have a sensitive nose, you may want to avoid.

The property was very clean and well equipped. We thought that we were a little more out of town, but it was a great location! The wildlife was amazing! We really enjoyed our few nights away just by ourselves.

I really loved the cozy cottage and all the amenities. The beach access was a quick walk. I enjoyed the back deck as well as the huge yard and wildlife coming thru the yard. I really do not have any complaints we all had a great vacation and would return again.

This was a nice home in a low key part of town. Not far from all the action downtown! Be careful backing out of the driveway, the bushes do créate a bit of a blind spot

What a nice surprise

We thought from viewing the pictures on line that the house would be adequate, but were pleasantly surprised on arrival to find this sweet little place nicely decorated, extremely well equipped and wonderfully comfortable. We are older ladies, so walking to the beach from here would have been difficult, but there are at least three lovely beaches within a very short drive. We watched the sunset every evening before returning to the house to relax, have a glass of wine and enjoy the comforts of home. Would definitely return.
