About this house rental
Ocean views and breezes.
Beautiful new Boardwalk to the Beach only 2 houses away.
Enjoy uncrowded beaches, fishing, boating, and bike paths all over the island.
Fripp Island is a wildlife sanctuary, with deer grazing in the yards, over 170 species of birds, alligators in the lakes, dolphins playing in the waves, and Loggerhead sea turtles nesting and hatching on the shores.
The main house sleeps 9 in beds. The guest house sleeps 3 in beds and 2 more on a fold out futon couch. Total 12 in beds plus 2 on fold out futon.
I am not offering amenity cards this year and, as far as I know, the only way to get them is through a home owner who is offering them.
I'm trying to rent from a Saturday OR to a Saturday during the summer season because that's when I have to make almost all my income for the year. If I "cross the week-end" I'm much more likely to end up with little pockets of days that are very difficult -- or impossible -- to rent. My goal is to avoid short pockets of unrented days and also to allow people looking for a full week to be able to rent from Saturday to Saturday.

Bev was a great host.

Expectations exceeded with this property. Location is awesome. Just steps away from boardwalk to beach. Convenient mid-island for golf carting and plenty of beach without feeling crowded at all! House feels like home with all the ameneties. Guest house was perfect for our son with 3 little ones providing extra kitchen and just enough privacy for nap and bedtimes. Lots of beach chairs were available. Plenty of deck space, rockers and chairs for us. Golf cart was nice worked out great. Gas grill and charcoal grill was bonus. Lots of parking and enough space for kids to play. Nearly at end of street so hardly any traffic except for occasional golf carts. We were hoping for a space large enough for our 16 family members to spend a week together and make wonderful memories and this proprty delivered! Bev was a fantastic host and was always available for any questions or needs. Plenty of linens and towels were provided too. Love, love, loved it and definitely recommend!!!

The location was good but the house was very run down, outdated, unsafe, and overall very uncomfortable. The flooring was missing a piece and could have caused injury if we weren’t careful. The bathroom sink was broken. The kitchen sink leaked. The lamps and coffee table were broken in the main living room. The oven door handle was broken. The carpet was old and not staying down causing people to trip. The headboard wasn’t attached to the master bed. The bedding was very old and didn’t seem clean. The air conditioning wasn’t working until we changed the filter which was filthy. The cart was very slow without headlights. There was a small room piled high with broken furniture, junk, and garbage. It was unsafe for kids. Even more issues. If it weren’t for the beach access the stay would’ve been a complete disaster. Stay elsewhere.
