Nice tidy unit and quiet location.

Just a great location for us as we were attending my grand son graduation parade at Waiouru,
4.6
Great place to stay, with everything one would need. Very cosy and the shower is good unlike a lot of places in Ohakune.

This well-equiped property is an ideal base for exploring Ohakune and the Tongariro National Park and is a firm favourite with our family. Hope to return on our next road trip to the North Island.

Stay was great. Good location for us, everything we needed.

I thought the property was very reasonable. It was clean, comfortable, and warm. There was a washing machine and dryer, clean towels and linen available. I liked that there was also a selection of books to choose from as there was no internet at the house. There were also some DVD's, my teenagers couldn't find any that would actually play due to being scratched - it turned out alright - they were able to spend more time interacting, laughing and singing instead! There are also some books and puzzles available. We had a great time!

Bach was as described. Communication with Geraldine fantastic. Unfortunately the guests before us didn’t leave it very clean but apart from that, it’s good for a kiwi bach style stay away!
4.6
The house is very dusty. The first night the kids scratched and coughed from the dust all night. So second day i ended up having to dust and vacuum the house thoroughly, including top of heat pump that was very dusty therefore blew dust everywhere when operating.
Otherwise cute little house with everything you neec for a ski trip.

Very warm close to mountain great little spot

Cool little chalet right below turoa ski field. Warm, good facilities. Great communication from property manager. Had a great stay

This is the second time we have stayed here all was great.. except the cleanliness on arrival, was obviously not checked after last guests. I had to vacuum as it was pretty bad, and found dirty shorts just under( very visible) the queen bed. Otherwise our stay was good.

Loved our stay at the property. A great place to base ourselves to explore the area. Cozy, warm and had everything we needed.
4.6
Descent size for a group of 4 and its cozy! Location was perfect.
4.6
Beautiful house and it has all your needs. will come back next time.
4.6
Small but good layout to accommodate myself and by teens. Great location from Turoa mountain.
4.6
The Chalet was exactly as advertised. Was warm and cosy and had everything we needed. Very handy to both the railway station and the town centre. Owner amazing with communication and couldn't ask for more. Have already booked next trip.

Great place.
4.6
Beside the minor issues regarding washing machine leaking, dead flys on window sills and rubbish under beds the stay was cosy and ok.
4.6
In general the property was good and clean and check in was very easy. I liked the attic room (it was much warmer than downstairs though). But in my cabin, the hot water wasn’t working (maybe I missed the switch). And it seems from the instructions in the room that cleaning is solely reliant on the previous guest. (I don’t really know if this is true, but it made me feel a bit worried during my stay, that’s all.)

We enjoyed a 6 night stay in this slightly dated bach, only using the ground floor. It's in a quiet area, a very manageable walk from both central Ohakune and the station area. Well equipped (though could do with one or two odds and ends such as kitchen foil and cling film). A 'welcome' folder with a bit more information on the property would be nice, rather than just a notice on the wall.
4.6
It is a very cute and tidy place. Very cosy, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Ohakune.
4.6
Lovely place to stay, relaxing private place.
4.6
Great location, very cute and cosy. Meet all our requirements. Would book again 😊
4.6
The house was really quiet.
4.6
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the description was exactly as stated. Everything we needed was there 😊 100% recommend to others. Thank you to our hosts
4.6
Overall, it’s nice. The facilities were pretty good and completed. There were three major problems: 1. The lights in the bathroom didn’t work at all~~ making showing in the evenings v hard! 2. No ventilation in the bathroom, moulded ceiling!!! 3. Spiderwebs need to be cleaned. Other than those issues, the location is pretty handy and beds arrangements were good.
4.6
The house was easy to find, parking was freely available and it was close to all the locations we wanted to see.
We had to clean the place a bit but I understand they have a clean when you leave policy so perhaps the previous people who stayed didn’t do the best job. Don’t forget to make sure the vacuum is charged!!
4.6
This house was good. Nice and clean and cozy. It wasn't huge but did our family really well.
4.6
Great property fantastic location - lovely and warm - everything you need 😊
4.6
Perfect cabin for a ski weekend away
4.6
Chalet is quite warm, easy to heat. Everything that is needed is there. Close to the Mountain and the shops, perfect location.
Only issue that we have found is that there is no air extractor in the kitchen or the laundry, they are def. Needed.

Decided to plan a ski trip with some friends this season. Saw this this place at a great price. Didn't realise how small it actually was till we got there, but we all thought it added to the character of the place. Was an awesome getaway
4.6
Comfy, warm, well set up, would recommend it
