We had a lovely time here, conveniently close to the old town as well as Zurriola beach for surfing, and Gros area. Apartment itself is well decorated, you can tell the owners are into architecture (Juicy Salif in the pictures gave it away), light, spacious, kitchen well equipped. We were here during Semana Grande (featuring fireworks contest) and we were able to enjoy it from the terrace (penthouse view). Had breakfast in the morning also on the terrace, and lounger is ideal for late evening afterdrink/game with the family. We didn’t meet our host (I’m of that generation that appreciates meeting in person, if only to praise them for what they have done with the place) but she was very responsive for any queries I had, often answering within minutes. San Sebastian itself was surprisingly easy to find glutenfree options (my wife is a foodie with food allergies), for the pintxos this usually meant the warm pintxos. Access to both appartment and building entrance was via app, so every family member had its key, as long as they had their smartphone with them. A code and physical keys were also available, but we didn’t use them. Car was in the parking lot just across, only came out for a roadtrip, and restaurant visits out of town (Casa Julian, Mugaritz, ..yes we saw the “remarkable places to eat” documentary and completely bought into it, and very much enjoyed it.)
None to report.

the location was perfect. Very close to the parking garage and supermarket, as well as the city center and the Gros neighbourhood. By car, the location is very easy to access from the highway. furthermore, the apartment is modern and lovely decorated. Also, the apartment includes a very large balcony.

Very comfortable and spacious apartment with big roof terrace. Close to the city centre and beach, we walked everywhere. Communication with our host was perfect, we had a great stay!

The apartment is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The apartment is close to the bus and train stations. A grocery store is across the street..
Kitchen seating was awkward and cramped. We would have appreciated written instructions for the TV, and oven.

My partner and I are an elderly couple and we found Maialen's apartment perfect for our needs. From the front door of the building there is a ramp providing step-free access to the lift, so we had no problems entering or exiting with luggage. The flat itself is a cosy and inviting space, easily large enough for two people, and has a lovely warm atmosphere. The soundproofing is good, the king-size bed and pillows are comfortable and the excellent window blinds allow effective darkening of the bedroom for a great sleep. In contrast, light pours in from the spacious west-facing balcony and floods the combined kitchen and lounge, tastefully and comfortably furnished with all mod cons and a variety of English-speaking TV channels available. Just a five-minute walk from the bus station, close to Zurriola beach, the Urumea river and from there to the pavement cafes of the Boulevard and the famous Concha beach, we were very happy with the location. We received superb service from Maialen, who met us at the apartment on our arrival, showed us how to use all the kitchen appliances and even provided information on the resort. She was always available to support us if we needed any assistance and allowed us to store our luggage at the flat on the last day of the holiday until time for us to catch the bus to the airport. We can't praise her enough for her care and consideration.
We could not find fault with anything! We would happily recommend to anyone both the accommodation and the service provided by Maialen.
