Great location. Walk to beach and several restaurants. Host Amy or Amanda was great and very helpful.

Overall this was a great stay. The house had lots of supplies/appliances/amenities. The only downside we had was that the lower level had a musty smell to it which was only kept down a little with constantly running the dehumidifier as well as opening some windows. Other than that, it was a great vacation!

Pros: Suitable for large group/family. Easy walk to beach. Two common spaces to gather. Quick responses to questions from owners.
Cons: Just a tad musty smell which can be fixed with leaving a window opened for air circulation. Perhaps needs a bit of updating but a fair price all things considered.

Perfect home for families or what I used it for! Had a customer fishing trip consisting of 6 adults. Perfect spot for everyone to have their bed or 3-4 families per kid!
Thanks for an amazing place!

We had family from out of state, some as far as Idaho all meet and spend a week together at the Pearl. The location was perfect. Easy and close access to the beach, but not on the busiest of roads. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed and a quick trip to the store for groceries managed the rest. Amy was extremely helpful with quick replies with any questions we had before our arrival. The back yard was great for letting the kids run and plenty of room for some family games like cornhole.

Great location! Plenty of room. Large table for playing cards.

Rented for a long weekend in Oct. Price was good and location is great. Really enjoyed the house. Kind of nice having the different layout, with separate entrances. Loved being close to the Avalon pier.

Very poor wi fi connection and no instruction on the TV guides , could not find local news or weather channels.

The place was very clean. Plenty of beds. Great porch for hanging out. Short walk to the beach or plenty of public beach parking if you need to drive over.

The cons: We ran out of propane, so there was no heat in the upstairs for a night. The previous guests had brought their cat and it had left a "gift" in one of the rooms. The downstairs bathroom needs finishing work from previous repairs and the door to the bedroom is falling apart. No heat in the garage to play pool.
The pros: Tons of space and lots of beds that are comfortable. Close to the beach, grocery stores and attractions. Amanda was very responsive and apologetic. Took care of the propane issue within a few hours and refunded us a night for cleaning up after the cat.

Upon arrival property was several blocks away from the beach entrance. The downstairs had no AC. We had to contact the HVAC repair ourselves which took a whole vacation day. All 5 families had to jam upstairs. The repair man arrived by noon the next day and replaced the monitor but we should not have to worry about that.
The owner did refund a full day.
The remainder of our vacation was great.

We had a fabulous stay at this property! The host was responsive to my questions and there was more than enough room to host 10 adults. We rented both levels and loved that there were 2 kitchens and living rooms. The big garage was great to hang out in and the screened in porch was nice for morning coffee. The bedrooms were big and roomy and the beds were really comfortable! The house was really clean! The only cons about this property are that there weren't many beach chairs for guests to utilize and the downstairs was a little musty due to the humidity. There is a dehumidifier downstairs though. This house is homey and not updated, but CLEAN and the owner has all of the appliances you may need! Oh, and the location is perfect! About 2 blocks from the beach and centrally located around the best restaurants and bars. Highly recommend renting this house!

There were three women with children that went on this trip. The house was wonderful with plenty to help keep the kids who ranged from teenager to five years old happy and occupied during the rainy weather. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.
