Really weird and disappointing

Location was convenient, room was clean. Price was good.

I am so confused by the entire facility. There were no instructions or directions given. There were amenities listed, but everything was locked or not clear on how to access. Staff was virtual. It was like a ghost town that wanted to be something, but in reality it was a sad, old resort that didn't deliver on what appeared to be advertised. Heater was super loud. Rails on balcony were dangerous and so far apart that my child could've fallen through. And no coffee! Nothing mentioned bringing your own coffee.

I really liked the apt, it was nice and had a kitchen with everything we needed. It was nice a quiet

The place was clean and well stocked. It was quite and in a good location for our needs.

I wasn’t told that the pool was out of commission. I was not informed about how to get our room cleaned or at least fresh towels. There was no one on the property to ask. The virtual staff was so so. Not very friendly and when we had trouble at the gate, the woman wasn’t being very pleasant.

Disappointing stay. Information needs to be updated and disclosed PRIOR TO BOOKING.

Unit was clean.

*No pool AT A RESORT - UNACCEPTABLE & FALSE ADVERTISING!!! This info should have been disclosed, as I would not have booked a stay here knowing the pool had been closed for over a year!!! *The main property entry instructions were non-existent, (property address gates closed and I had to ask a person on the street how to locate lobby access). *No coffee - even Motel 6 at $49/night provides coffee packets!

This place is very nice. I will definitely stay here again when traveling to Sparks. Much nicer than staying in a hotel. To have at apartment with kitchen. And living room. Definitely a plus. Great location.

We were pleased with the stay, thought it was a great value, and would come again!

The location was convenient to shopping and also easy to get to the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Last year we stayed at a downtown Reno hotel. This location was actually much more convenient. It was also much more family friendly. It was nice to have the car parked right outside the door. Loved the kitchen facilities. If we come again, we will come more prepared to take advantage of this. We really liked the full-size refrigerator and the full-size coffee maker. Crazy that there were 3 TV sets which removed conflicts over what to watch. Minor annoyances were outweighed by the wonderful fact that we occupied the whole apartment. It provided privacy for my daughter to sleep while we were able to stay up and not bother her. It felt like a home - not like a hotel room. It was nice to see families enjoying the central park area near the BBQ area.

The facilities are aging and not kept up as well as they could be. For example, the faucet in the master bedroom sink was loose and moved around (no functional problem, though). The bar holding up the shower curtain was too low, and the shower curtain was dragging on the floor of the shower. The TV remote in the 2nd bedroom did not work. The shower hot/cold control was VERY touchy and if one wasn't careful, one could get burned as the hot water was VERY hot. One other minor annoyance - it would have been nice to have some kind of curtain or barrier between the upstairs hallway and the sink area in the shared upstairs bathroom. But that is how the apartment was designed and it was only an odd and minor annoyance.

Overall very happy with our stay!

Great little place for what we needed. Loved that we could cook and sit at a table. Overall great for the age of the property and I liked that I felt secure.

The sofa bed was not very comfortable The mattress is a very bad quality.

My family was very comfortable. I really like how accommodating the front desk staff were.

Great location and very convenient to surroundings restaurants, and attractions.

There wasn’t enough toilet paper and the kitchen sink was clogged. The pull out mattress was very uncomfortable. The place needs to be dusted.

It is a good location spot, one bedroom with full kitchen. Pretty comfortable overall.

From the start checked sofa bed. it is very old matrass with no cushion and hard springs. Maintenance person said it is fine. and he has no other better sofas. Requested some paddings which was delivered quickly. No breakfast with increased resort fee. Now it is $25 a night. Pool is closed. The GYM is open but belongs to a museum. It has to be from 60s. Tennis court has not seen maintenance in years. the net tore down with few good serves. I will think again before booking with Thunderbird.

it was clean is the only good thing I can say. they should change the name to Thunderbird Last Resort.

it’s only redeeming grace was that it was super clean.

very old and in desperate need of updating. bath and kitchen cabinets old and doors/drawer fronts are warped and don’t close. faucets don’t move easily for adjusting from hot to cold, drain broken so rubber stopper for bath. weatherstripping around doors needs replaced. TV in living area didn’t work. AC is so loud it’s nearly impossible to sleep. bathroom fan also loud. light bulb in vanity area strobes off and on. outside of buildings needs paint, clean off spider webs and wasp nests. trees need trimmed. pool locked up and was green. no restaurant and checking in and out was by phone. Gates didn’t work. no spa services seen anywhere except a hair salons that required and advance booking. never saw a human staff member in person for 3 days! no daily cleaning of room. none of this mentioned in ad. this place does NOT deserve the rating shown.

The one-bedroom apartment was just what we wanted! LOVE the gazebo area with the grill, the location was in close range to everything we needed.

The apartment was not as clean as we would've preferred. There was hair on the floors and the couch / chair could've been vacuumed. Some of the facilities were under construction so some of the amenities weren't available.

They had a fire the night before in the pool pump room and didn’t say anything until we were checked in. If they would have told me before hand I would have went to a different hotel.

The unit was very comfortable and well appointed.

The property was very close to restaurants and casinos. The unit had covered parking. Also, the townhouse was well decorated, attractive and clean.

The sign in was unusually odd - almost self service.
