Zeer hartelijke ontvangst.
Prima gelegen, vlakbij strand.
Oudere guesthouse dat aan een algemene opknapbeurt toe is

Very comfortable, great breakfast!

Good location to the beach and amenities.
Very poor, dated and tired. Shocked no staff on site overnight. Emergency exits not informed off if something dreadful happened. Guests were left to own devices. Windows rattled in wind and extremely draughty and cold. Mattress was very old and uncomfortable. We could hear guests in other rooms talking etc. we will never stay again. Breakfast was average. Such a shame as great location.

Not the Ritz, but very comfortable for a two night stay. Lovely, clean white bed linen and towels. My room shared a toilet and bathroom with another room, but I think I had sole use. The staircase to second floor is both narrow and steep. Sometimes felt deserted during the day as no staff on site, but available by telephone contact. No plug in bedroom sink, but I had taken my own. No room service on second day, so bed not made, bin not emptied nor tea/coffee replenished. Breakfasts were excellent, cooked to order and very hearty - with fresh coffee this made a good start to the day. I enjoyed warm, sunny weather - so this was an added bonus. Evening walk into Bridport took 25 minutes.
I think my other omments have covered a couple of points on this

En-suite. Wash hand basin is too big for the room made it difficult to access the toilet.
Not keen on shower curtain.

The breakfast was excellent with friendly staff.
The location couldn't have been better.
Having free car parking so central was a big bonus.
It was lovely to have a small bar on the premises and a very friendly barmaid, who was most welcoming.
The mattress was somewhat hard and therefore not particularly comfortable.

The staff, breakfast and location were excellent.
The cleanliness of the room number 8 was well below par. The carpets had many stains on it, there was dust and crumbs at the ends of both beds and elsewhere. The bed near the window wall had a pen and bits of old curtain hooks plus thick dust on the skirting board down the side, this clearly had not been cleaned for weeks . The cupboard in bathroom was so dirty we couldn’t put anything in it. I rubbed my finger through it to show how dirty it was. The shower was very poor in temperature and the mastic in one corner was brown and horrible. The net curtains were just hanging on the rail by threads of the curtain. The shelf over the radiator was far too long as you had trouble walking round the end of the bed without catching yourself on it. The stairs leading up to the room also were in hoovered and gas bits all on them. The only thing that let me stay in that room was the bedding was clean. Such a shame but the whole guesthouse needs so much tlc. It could be so good .

very good location - close to the beach and harbour
Overgrown with weeds in the parking area, front of the building, on arrival thought we had come to the wrong place.
Dirty carpets in bedroom and Breakfast room, needs massive TLC, breakfast limited and stairs very steep.
Didn’t meet owners so cannot comment.
I don’t think the reviews I read could have been the same place!

Really interesting quirky building with character.
Breakfast could have been a little more gluten free and vegan friendly, though they did try. Fresh fruit would have been welcome.

Friendly and welcoming. Excellent location. Lovely little bar filled with locals
For people with mobility problems of any kind, or old dogs. Would be helpful to note getting to 2nd floor difficult

We just felt so welcomed, and the owners of the place went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
The room was comfortably warm on arrival, and throughout… they had a cosy bar we could’ve stayed in all eve.
Best of all the atmosphere, lovely lovely people.
Will be recommending to many.
And will return.
