Nicest corner on Barbati Beach!

Location is excellent, it’s the chillest, quieter corner on the Barbati Beach. Breakfast is provided by Verde Blu restaurant, which is essentially the beachfront area of property. Breakfast is not buffet style, suppose because there don’t seem to be too many rooms taking the breakfast included option. For breakfast, you get a choice of ham and cheese, jam and toast or omlette/scrambled eggs combo, and greek yoghurt and fruit bowl. Try Verde Blu for dinner too, kitchen won food awards and quite good with reasonable prices. Staff are super nice too. Kelly was great as well. Would pick this place again even after having seen other beaches, including the rest of Barbati.

Bathroom shower doors and toilet are aged and need replacement. AC and power only works if you’re in the room with your keycard placed in the switch, but I guess management has to control overusage somehow, but the room can heat up during daytime as a result and AC can’t pump enough cool air for a while on a hot say. So your room can get steamy on a hot summer day.

The beach and the breakfast were very nice.

The room, the bed, the pillows and we struggled under the sun to find someone to assist us for the check-in.

Perfect location apartment with everything you need

Perfect location - by the beautiful beach, with comfy sun beds and cosy bar. Room has a nice terrace and everything you need, kitchen is ok for a basic cooking. We got a baby chair as asked, thank you! I also liked it has a washing maschine (you just have to buy some laundry detergent). Staff was super friendly.

Unfortunately it has no mosquitoes net. Nevertheless staff gave us some repellent that helped. The kitchen wasn’t very clean, some cabinets has bad smell.

Nice and private appartement close to the beach

- location, close to the all sides of the island - beach with free sunbeds - privacy - good price for that quality - staff was nice and helpfull (Kelly ☺️) - terace with a table, chairs and a drying rack

- kitchen utilisation was not very good, there were only metallic tools so the pan was scratched (we asked for a new one and got it :) - no proper light in the kitchen, we had to prepare the dinner or washed the dishes with our phone torch on - the bathroom could be a bit renovate, the ceeling was wet and the shower bit rusty

The property was really near to the wonderful sea (super clear water). The house is spacious and comfortable. The property include free: a parking lot, access to the pool and two sunbeds with umbrella at the sea (everything really close to the apartment). At 5 min walk there’s the bus stop and at 10 min walk there are 3 mini market, different restaurants and a wonderful coffee bar.

The only real con is the bed sheets smell a lot of chlorine. Plus the bathroom doesn’t have a good odor but you can easy solve it opening the window (I think it’s fault of the sewers on the island and not of the property’s owners).

We enjoyed our stay. Barbati is a quiet place and ideally located to explore Corfu island.

Great location. Swimming pool area was really great. Lots of restaurants nearby. Host was very kind.

Breakfast starts at 9:30 which is a bit late especially when you want to visit the rest of the island.

Nice setting but need to work in the attitude

The NONE breakfast. We were ignored, when I asked for breakfast the waitress was confused, but did not take any order. 10 min later she came with coffee, juice and 5 min after that she served an omelett. We told her it must be wrong. We didn’t order any omelett. She told us, YES You did. This is breakfast. I told her I had egg allergie and whatelse she could serve. Nothing, was the answer. So we could order from the beach meny (hamburger/pizza etc) No thanks. We went to the food shop and bought some bread, cheese and tomatoes

The property wasn’t as clean as I would have liked but this is me being very picky and probably more of a personal opinion than a true reflection! all in all it was a fantastic stay!

Very good

We enjoyed the friendly and supportive interactions with our host, Kelly. We stayed in a 2 bedroom maisonette, very clean, well equipped and with clean kitchenette. The beach is very close, although with small pebbles and no sand, the water of the sea is great, so clear and warm....The pool is amazing, very clean.It is a quiet, cozy place, with great food served at the Verde Blu restaurant. It is a bit far from any village, around 30 min by car, but the bus station is nearby. So besides sunbathing and swimming, nothing else you can do here unless you go to amazing Corfu Town, which we enjoyed a lot.

There are no bug nets at the windows, so we had to struggle with mosquitos every night 😕

Would recommend, and stay again

Location was perfect, 2 minutes to the beach with a beach bar directly below. For 4 women travelling alone, we felt very safe and secure. All staff on site were kind and helpful - our arrival time was after 12am which was accommodated. Facilities were perfect for what we wanted.

Nothing! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill place to stay in Corfu.

Won't come back

I didn't like how many of the plugins could not be used as they were coming off the wall when you pull your charger, one of them smelled burnt as well. The fish at the restaurant was overpriced- it felt like robbery - and no owner or manager appeared to explain why they charged so much.

Very good

Place with lot of options to for trail, boat rental and Kerkyra visit. Coll place for 2-3 days stay and party nights. I would opt for different place with kids and family.

The model with music on the beach, beach service and teen age parties at the restaurant. It is commercial place in contrast to other calm places on the island.

Poor

Nobody knew about the property. Even the staff couldn’t tell us where Akti Barbati is. There was no interaction with the staff after the check in what do ever. There was no chance to request a taxi or to get a recommendation on any motorcycle or car rental place. Furthermore, there was no one to assist us on directions to the nearest place close by for vacation activities, rental purposes or for exploring new beaches. You need to plan everything beforehand like having a motorcycle or car and you need to know that AKTI Barbati is located in the same complex as Verde Blu. Even the poor WiFi is from verde blu and that is why it is very curious that no one could tell us where Akti Barbati is. Despite all this the rooms were very nice and clean and the cleaning staff was excellent and polite. Moreover, the beach at Akti Barbati is also very nice.

Loved this amazing place!!!

All was great! Very cozy, clean apartment and there is everything you need, comfortable bed, kitchen utensils. Event if the sea from the terrase is not visible - beach is super close (less than 1min), smooth pebble beach, where you can enjoy wonderful moonrises. Nice private pool which was quite empty all the time. 1 min to bus station to reach Kekyra in 40-50min - though bus come only twice so be carefull to leave with the earliest one ~7:32 and come back with the lastest (from Kekyra it leaves ~ 14:30), taxi to Kekyra center costs 40€. It is also easy to reach airport by bus.

Only the location which is fantastic.

The owner couldn't care less about her customers. Check in with her was horrific. I have worked in hospitality for the past 10 years and when I stay at hotels or other properties I really don't ask for much, simple hello, please wait to be seen or something like that would have been great but not even that. She could have just thrown the keys at you and of you go. The rest of staff members are not any better. The bathroom door doesn't close, AC in the room doesn't even work and I am sure hotel staff is very well aware of the issue, towels were stained, plenty of mosquitos in the bedroom, my legs and arms are covered in bites. I ordered a meal and I asked if it came with bread, the guy said he didn't know so he just brought the bread and I was charged for it. Don't mind paying, but simple communication would be great. The location is great, the beach is fantastic, but like other people suggested there is better places to stay in the area. P.S. no need to respond with "thank you for your feedback, which will help to improve our service etc..." Other customers have already complained but nothing has changed since...

I like the location, territory, closeness to the beach and amazing Verde Blue beach club with allocated sunbeds. Towels have been changed three time during the one-week stay

Ena the cleaning lady. Location and the views.

Failed to provide apartment that was booked. Being told that disabled people wear not welcome as site not suitable when booking advertisement says it is suitable. Kitchen appliances need updating. Ena the cleaning lady was the only asset to the company.

Had a great time and found the staff really nice. Lovely location and I would return.

Really friendly staff. Very nice resort and well located. Kelli (manager) was very helpful throughout the stay. Food was also good and the bar and restaurant are lovely. Good COVID measures in place.

Slight Minor misunderstanding with the reservation but it was resolved very quickly and we were in our room within 10mins.
