Great location and cozy rooftop!

Great value near the city center, across from where you catch the shuttle to the mountains and a couple blocks from Tiranë. Rooftop area was really cozy. They kept our bags safe and secure for free while we were in Valbone and Theth.

The bathrooms and showers could be a bit cleaner

Nice hosts, nice location. Nice view from the roof top terrace. Guarded parking.

Air conditioner in the room needs cleaning. There's some dusty smell when you switch it on.

Cosy hostel with everything you need in perfect location

small hostel with a few rooms and a fantastic roof top with a nice view where you can chill. showers and toilets were clean and there was hot water. We could leave our luggage their for the few days we went to Theth. There was no reception but the owners were very easy to reach. We did not use the kitchen, it looked like it had basic amenities but for example not many cutlery. All in all it has everything you need in a very central location with a very nice rooftop bar.

Toilet paper was missing multiple times during our stay and did not always get refilled soon after talking to the owners about it can be bit noisy at night from internet cafe below and dogs outside so bring ear plugs

The rooftop was really nice.

A little weird. Not really a hostel. We never met anyone working there. For payment a girl at the terrace called someone, and we payed through her. The place was dead. We wanted to place our big bag somewhere in Shkodër before hiking, but yeah - never met any staff.

The landlord is friendly. The ac is cool enough.

The shower room has a big window. I don’t want to be seen while showering. That’s why I hung a towel .

Great location, but noisy at night and hard to find

Very good location. Incredibly cheap, so can't complain too much! Great view from the rooftop (although see below for more info!).

Incredibly difficult to find, mainly because it goes by another name (Hostel Tarabosh) - so not even locals could help direct us. Toilet smelt quite bad. Rooftop had gorgeous views but it was very bizarre - I think because we went at the start of May, it wasn't set up for the season, so there was broken office furniture, washing, palettes etc. over the rooftop so we couldn't really relax up there. Biggest negative, though, was the noise at night from the gaming internet cafe on the floor below. There was a guy shouting until at least 1 or 2am, and it woke me up a lot.

Good location, great price.

The hostel is in the centre of the Shkoder at the sun rising you will be woken up by the mosque prayers. Also I had difficulty in reaching host in arrival and in finding the place, not well marked at all.

No vibe, but great location

The location is absolutely perfect to go and discover the city, which we considered unique for such a good price!

We did not meet anyone else at the hostel, staff included, throughout our entire stay.

Convenient location, nice roof-top terrace.

Toilet had a broken seat and unreliable flusher. Absence of any staff apart from during check-in after being called to attend. Noisy at night directly above computer gaming centre.

The rooftop terrace is beautiful, great location. The owner is not there all the time but it’s easy to get in touch with her and she was very friendly and helpful.

It was not so easy to find, a clear sign at the entrance of the building would be nice. The hostel is very small and quiet. For us it was just perfect, but if you are looking for a lot of action or party hostel, this is probably not the place for you :)

Great stay in the middle of the city!

We had a very nice stay in hostel Tarabosh before going to hike in Valbona. The hostesses were kind and informative and our room was just enough of the comfort for 1-2 nights, AC is very appreciated during the summer when there’s almost no relief otherwise from the heat.

Maybe the bed was a little too hard but it was not a big deal for us, we were anyway too exhausted to notice much.

Well located, with a huge room from the price we paid. The staff were also great and helped to set us up with a tour our to Valbone

The hostel is great for the price you pay! Rooms are good size and there are enough toilets and showers, we didnt have to queue. The best area is the rooftop!! Besides Ella was super nice :)

It’s ok for a short stay. Hosts are very friendly.

Great location. Everything is very close. The rooftop is very nice and has a good view. We stopped there on our way to Theth and we were able to leave a bit of our luggage at the hostel cause we did the Theth to Valbonë hike. Host organized the trip to Theth.

Place had a weird smell and facilities weren’t really clean. We skipped the shower on our second stay cause there was no hot water the first time around. Also an excavator woke us up at 1 am (it’s started working in the middle of the night and sounds aren’t really isolated) which is not the host fault but still worth knowing.

Perfect location, lovely rooftop deck with a view, very friendly and helpful staff. Kitchen, kettle, washing machine available. Hot shower at all times. Rooms clean, beds comfortable. Affordable price! We stayed there on our way to the Accursed Mountains and then again upon return - we didn't even look for any other place! If you plan to go to Theth the staff can order for you a minivan that picks you up from the hostel at 7.00 am

Amazing facility in the heart of Shkoder.

1. The manager was an amazing and helpful person. 2. The room was big, clean, and well organized with AC. 3. The location is excellent. Very close to the bus station. 4. The hostel has a good kitchen and washing machine.

Perfect stay

Hostel Tarabosh is amazing. I booked a private room. It was very quiet and I could work easily. Wifi works great. There is a kitchen and all amenities. The terrace is a great place to hangout at. Location is perfect, everything is right next door. The staff is extremely helpful and let me store luggage while I was gone for trek and even helped me on my return. Highly recommend!

The hostel is really easy to find and right in the middle of everything (stores, restaurants, bus lines, nightlife). The check in was easy and the room itself was clean. We had a nice view of the square from the window.

The shared bathrooms were not clean. The showers didn't drain well, and the men's toilet broke on the second day we were there. The kitchen didn't have much at all to work with, so we couldn't really prepare food.
