Freundlicher Gasgeber
Sehr gute Lage
Sehr Sauber
Sehr hellhörig, man hört jeden Schritt aus der Nachbarwohnung.
Zudem hatten wir das Pech, dass unsere Nachbarn quasi die ganze Nacht wach waren und permanent Lärm gemacht haben
Unsere Wohnung hatte kein Wohnzimmer
Die Ausstattung in der Küche war etwas spärlich

The host, Claudio, was a super host. Helpful and attentive to our every need. The location is great … peaceful yet only 5 minutes from the nearest town by car or 10 minutes walk from an excellent local restaurant. If you’re wanting to see Sorrento and the Amalfi coast, this is the perfect spot!

Claudio was a great host, we had a really enjoyable stay. The house catered for everything you need as a family, even down to the smallest details. It was spacious and clean and very comfortable. I would recommend hiring a car as everything is a drive away , and it is all particularly busy as you would expect in the summer holidays. We would definitely recommend Casa Il Negrito to all . Thank you for making our first trip to Italy enjoyable
There isn't anything about the apartment we didn't like. It took us a while to get used to the roads and driving around , definitely not for the faint hearted but its all part of the experience!

Our stay at Casa Il Negrito was exceptional! Beautiful property in the countryside with amazing views. We truly felt at home. Everything beautifully made and laid out. Extremely highly recommended. The host Claudio was really helpful and welcoming and went out of his way to make us feel really welcome. Would love to return there in the future.
The only thing maybe was the mattress in one bedroom.. was not very comfortable. But everything else was so amazing!!

The view from the property is excellent - it looks out to the south with a fantastic view from about 400 metres above sea level. We stayed in the Junior suite, which is spacious and has two bedrooms, a kitchen, an ensuite bathroom in one bedroom and another bathroom. The Junior Suite has its own outdoor terrace with a table, as well as a seating area with great view. The swimming pool, a large above-ground Intex, is on an adjacent terrace and shared with all guests. The host cleans it every morning; it is impeccable. The host stocked the property very well with toiletries, basic foods and snacks. The washing machine works well, wireless internet works everywhere (even on the terraces and by the pool) and I tested 30 Mbps down and 15 Mpbs up for glitch-free access to work files and streaming TV (I used Netflix). Other niceties include aircon in every bedroom, three double doors to the terrace, and mosquito nets on every door and window.
The property is against a steep slope, so that the back walls are buried and have no windows. As a result, the suite has a damp smell and mould in the bathrooms. The drains in the bathrooms also smell, but this could be due to the challenges of sewerage management on a steep slope outside a formal town. It takes some getting used to. The shower in the ensuite bathroom is really small (I would not ordinarily care, but this is the smallest shower that I have ever used). People in property above (we assume permanent residents) were noisy through the night, every night (and I mean until sunrise!), so that we slept badly. We are light sleepers, though, so this should not be a problem to everyone.

I would just like to say a big thank you to Claudio, he was an excellent host and went above and beyond in every area of our holiday. He even agreed to meet us as 24:00 as we had problems with our car and were arriving late. He was friendly, helpful, informative, always available but at the same time discreet and unobtrusive. He worked hard to keep all the facilities of the property clean and ready for use, and was a mine of local knowledge...Thank you Claudio, you made our stay more than special. Highly recommend

Lot's of space for children. A big private terrace with outside fireplace/grill. Amazing views to the sea and mountains. Sunrises over the sea visible from bedroom and livingroom balcony were amazing. A 2x4m pool. Roof terrace with jacuzzi! Very quiet and private. The host is very helpful, he even delivered us pizza the night we arrived!
Nitpicking here, but the matress in the main bed is not comfortable. Flushing the toilet is really loud in both bathrooms.

Our stay was just perfect! We enjoyed everything: the sea view, the area, surroundings (there are many options in the area for trekking or snorkeling) and food of course (there are good restaurants in Santa Agata and the best ice creams we have ever tried). From Sorrento you can easily reach Positano, Capri, Pompei or other popular destinations. Claudio was the most helpful and friendly host we have ever met! He helped us to plan our stay and to reach places which we decided to visit. Thanks to this we had one of the best holidays ever! We hope to be back very soon! 😊 Thanks for everything Claudio!

Il Negrito has 2 distinct structures. We were two couples and we stayed in Negrito Superior so each couple had his bedroom and bathroom. The house is big, clean and very beautiful. A nice terrace at the entrance with benches, table and barbeque at the shadow of some olive trees. A big living room where we spend the rainy evenings. Kitchen with the essentials (salt, pepper, sugar) and with dishwasher. Wonderful view of the golf and the surrounding hills. A top terrace with a jacuzzi and sun beds - which unfortunately we could not use because it was a very rainy week. Alsa a small swimming pool for all guests from Superior and Junior which we didn't use either. But we enjoyed the silence, the pace and beauty of this place. Claudio was the perfect host - always available, giving us indications, suggestions and support every time we asked for it. Discreet but always there when we needed him, answering to our questions on what to do, what street or parking to find, where to eat. Casa Il Negrito is a perfect place to discover the area: Sorrento, Amalfi coast, Capri. The surrounding area is also very beautiful, you can do lots of walks to gorgeous places (with unfortunately we didn't to do to the weather). Restaurants, pizzeria, market not far. You need a car, preferably a smaller one because streets are often narrow and very steep. All together, we spend a very beautiful week at Negrito. Thanks Claudio, for everything, best regard, hoping to return.
Nothing to mention. except maybe for the weather because it was a very rainy week but even so had a great time.

Everything!! Claudio was the best host. The location of the house is spectacular! Amazing views of the sea, surrounded by nature, quiet. About 15-20 minutes drive from Sorrento. Perfect place to return to after traveling in the busy roads of the Amalfi coast. The house contains everything you need for a family stay. Highly recommended!!!

Claudio and his family are lovely and made us so welcome!! The apartment is beautiful with all of the usual amenities that you need. The scenery from the very private terrace is just stunning and the evening view amazing!! The rooms are very spacious with spectacular views, with dine in kitchen and plenty of outside living space. You will need a car and you are withing a few minutes drive of S. Agata, which is lovely with plenty of good restaurants, recommended by Claudio... within 20 min drive to Sorrento and 45 mins to Positano. We had an amazing time and would definately recommend. Grazie Mille Claudio
Nothing not to like

This place is wonderful: very comfortable bedrooms, well equiped kitchen, lovely terrace with a barbecue and the second terrace on the roof with jacuzzi. Here you can feel the real italian "dolce far niente" - the neighborhood is very calm, as well as the village of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi.
There is a nice garden and a private parking place which is very important if you travel by car.
Claudio (the owner) and his family are very friendly, warm and helpful, they can recommend you some nice restaurants and places worth to see.

Claudio and his family were excellent hosts, the house had everything we needed for a fantastic two week stay, it was really clean and well kept. The pool and hot tub were a real bonus! I would absolutely recommend to other guests.
Nothing - it was all perfect!

The owner, Claudio, was extremely helpful. The greenery around is scenic. It is like living in paradise.
The location is excellent, but for getting to a bar, restaurant or shopping, a car is necessary.

Photos do not do this place justice! We stayed as a family, 4 adults, 3 teenagers, plenty of space for everyone. Place is super clean and Claudio was always available to help.
Having a place to park your car in this area is amazing! Short walk to the village and short drive to sorrento.

Our host, Claudio, and his entire family were very kind and did their utmost to ensure that we had a comfortable stay throughout our visit. Whenever we had a request or a question, they responded promptly and provided us with the information or equipment / materials that we requested for, for example with a set of "proper" wine glasses that we requested for in the beginning of our stay. They were also taking care of the garden and the outside premises around the house on a daily basis. Their approach and ways of taking care of their guests were surely one of the absolutely best that we have experienced in connection with our 20+ holiday trips to Italy since the mid 90's. The (quite high) location of the house on the Sorrento peninsula is very central so that day trips - or even half-day trips can easily be made to lots and lots of beautiful and interesting places by car - for example, Sorrento can be reached in less than 20 minutes by car. The small but very pleasant town of Sant'Agata with several very nice restaurants and shops etc. and a lively town center area can also be reached by walking some 15-20 minutes. On the other hand, we liked the quiet and private location of the house very much - with a truly stunning view to the Gulf of Salerno.

We arrived late in the afternoon and Claudio was waiting for us then showed us around and explained everything. He left a welcome supper of mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, basil, olive oil and bread for our first supper
What we enjoyed the most was sitting on the terraces after a long day and having cheese and wine.
Not much it was incredibly clean and everything was in great working order
