About this apartment rental
Beautiful modern apartment with great panoramic sea views; newly renovated with contemporary design. Two bedrooms and comfortable sofa bed, sleeps 2- 6. Two baths, fully equipped kitchen, sunny living / dining room. One large (100m²) private terrace, plus additional balcony. Great views from every room. Shared swimming pool and concierge on the residence, safe on site parking.
The apartment is in the smaller building of the stately residence "Les Miradors" Which includes a lovely park (2 ha.) And swimming pool (18 x 7 m, depth 60-200 cm) with a terrace. It is located above the city Menton, in a quiet, sunny area called "Garvan", 600 m from the sea. Garvan is known for its lovely gardens and parks, Including. Of olive tree park (Le parc du Pian) Directly across the residence So close by is the amazing Jardin botanique exotique de Menton (11,000 m²)
Within walking distance (600 meters) is the seaside (10 min down a walking path), shingle (10min) and sandy beaches (15 min), a larger grocery shop (10 minutes, 600 meters), restaurants and town (15-20min ) - Including the lovely covered market (All which is open every day, Including Sunday !!). The train station "Garvan" is a 14 min walk (1,0 km) or a short bus ride away. There are Several walking pathes leading to the restaurants, beaches, and town. Our favorites include walking through the olive tree plantation / park, or down a path and then along the seaside, or walking though the historical part of Menton. One can of course drive with your car, but there is alot to be said for the more active combination of - for example - walking down to the market, then buying lovely vegatables, fruits, fish, meat, bread and pasteries (or going to a nice restaurant) and then walking back to the apartment. And, after sightseeing in Nice, Italy, Monaco etc - love especially on hot days crowed trafficy - its a real pleasure to return and have a dip in the pool and relax on the terrace.

This was the second time we stayed in this apartment and we again found the experience truly wonderful. The apartment is wonderful and exactly as described: great location, very well equipped and with spectacular views across the Mediterranean and Menton. The communication with the owner Sofie is excellent. On site, Dolores helped us settle in and she also answered some questions we had during our stay. Menton is a lovely town and there is lots to see and do close by, by foot, bike, train or car. In sum, this apartment is superb and we would gladly come again!

Lovely clean apartment with beautiful views great space and proximity to old town. Pool was a great extra and walk up and down to town kept us fit. Lovely holiday definitely come again.

Third stay over New Years will hopefully not be the last for our family.In case need more details on appraisals and appartment - look up my two previous reviews. Lovely far reaching´and undisturbed views + 180 degrees from Italy towards Menton from the different terrasses and rooms - quiet immeuble (not many residents present this time), safe and very well kept garden and pool area (hope to revisit during warmer period soon) ... lovely walks along Garavan ... and this time even up via Super Garavan... so much to enjoy; on top of Mme Lauriers exceptional (and swift) hospitality.
Only thing that keeps us from planning a stay in spring or autumn 2024 already is too few days in the year.

The apartment offers an amazing view on the sea and the historic center of Menton. Check-in with local contact went smoothly. Also the landlord was very responsive and proactive. Overall highly recommended.

This was our second time staying in the apartment. It's perfectly located with lovely views of Menton. It's a 15 min walk to the town centre, 5-10mins to the beaches and 5 mins to the nearest supermarket.
The apartment is in a secure gated location with all the amenities you need for a vacation with children. We highly recommend.

The apartment is nice, and the photos and description present it accurately, The views from the patios are fantastic. Even during a heatwave, the apartment and patios are comfortable. The pool and the entire building complex, including the vegetation, are well maintained. My family and I spent a nice vacation here.

We had like last Xmas and New years lovely days in Mme Lauriers belle appartement .... see for details our review from January 2022. The only reason the issue cleanliness is not rated 5 stars this year, is an issue for which the owner had no responsability or knowledge of - which could be and was handled relaitvely easy. All of this to say -- hope to be back again - and if at all possible for a longer stay than six nights.

Sofie is an amazing host & owner of this lovely apartment! She has a very dedicated staff / Dolores, who not only does the house-keeping for this apartment, but also understands how to go above and beyond in hospitality on behalf of Sofie!
It was very easy and simple to communicate with both. Dolores was very kind to help us with the arrival to the apartment. She gave us a very informative tour of this apartment related to all functions of screens, safety, appliances, trash disposal, etc.
Everything was awesome. Very well decorated! Fantastic views of the Italian border, the mountains the sea and the basilica, Menton centre-ville. It could not get better than this!!
While we were curious to figure out about the local transportation system, we found an excellent file-folder created by the owner! The amount of effort it must have taken to include all information about every need of the guests! It was an amazing collection of useful information in that file!
The furniture was comfortable and very calming with interplay of the colors of the Cote D’Azur! The Blue Mediterranean colors were displayed in décor very beautifully!
We loved the garden, we enjoyed the balconies and garden patios, the sun-rise and sunsets from this beautifully located apartment! The building is gated, and very safe.
The swimming pool was very clean and grand, although we did not use it.
We enjoyed the proximity to the grocery store, although returning uphill was a challenge. But it was all fun as a part of the vacation!
The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. Clean wooden floors. Kitchen was very well-equipped with all the stuff you need! I love the colorful mugs!
There was also a welcome Rose’ Wine bottle in the fridge. Cheers!!
Overall, we had a fabulous vacation! We have lovely memories of this apartment!

Traumhafte Wohnung, absolut perfekt!
Wir haben und von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt, die Abwicklung, Buchung und Kommunikation war top!!! wir waren mit meinen Eltern da, welche schon über 80 sind. Es war ideal, da es einen Aufzug gab und sie keine Treppen steigen mussten. Die Wohnung ist wunderbar aufgeteilt, so dass man sich auch mal aus dem Weg gehen kann. Wir haben jedem Morgen auf der traumhaften Terrasse gefrühstückt, eine schönere Aussicht kann man nicht haben. Es ist alles da was man braucht, wir haben auch ab und zu mal gekocht. Man findet alles in der Nähe, es gibt zahlreiche, gute Restaurants und Geschäfte im Ort. Auch zu erwähnen ist der tolle Pool, den wir fast für uns alleine hatten. Das Wasser war schon richtig warm. Alles im Allen ist die Wohnung absolut und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!!!! Auch die Sauberkeit ist top! Sofie und Dolores standen immer mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung, vielen Dank nochmal für die Unterstützung. Meine Eltern waren überglücklich und wir auch! Diesen Urlaub werden wir nie vergessen!

Excellent New year 2022 days in lovely Garavan area - Menton
Lovely, roomy, comfortable and spacious appartment - with splendid views day and night - come rain come sun - comfortable (hard) beds, crisp white bedlinen, lots of luggage room, fully equipped kitchen (lovely even though we do not really cook during our stays in Menton), safe and well maintained guarded immeuble.
Year round the pool is cleaned and ready to use - silly teenage daughter tried it for ten seconds (-: on 30. December 2021. She - and her mother - would love to come again and enjoy when water is of a somewhat more friendly temperature.
Host and staff very, very helpfull, accommodating and flexible - we will obviously try and see if we can come back to this lovely appartment during our annual Christmas and New Year stays in Menton, as it is by far the most comfortable appartment we - a family of three plus one guest - have stayed in so far. A couple of weeks here in spring or autumn would also be very doable (-:.

Ferienwohnung mit grandioser Aussicht
Die moderne Wohnung ist komfortabel ausgestattet und bietet tolle Ausblicke auf das Meer und die malerische Altstadt von Menton. Den großzügigen Außenbereich mit Balkon, Terrasse und kleinem privaten Garten konnten wir Ende September und Angang Oktober ausgiebig nutzen. Die Residenz ist sehr gepflegt und bietet einen großen Poolbereich. Die Altstadt ist in ca. 20 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar. In der Umgebung kann man schöne Wanderungen unternehmen.

Beautiful balcony views over Menton!
Lovely apartment!
We spent a wonderful week here, enjoyed it immensely, were very sad leaving, and would happily stay an entire month!
The apartment is lovely, in a meticulously-maintained gated complex where there are a couple of apartment-blocks, our apartment being in the smaller, which is not overlooked and has simply gorgeious views from its large balconies. We shared a large well-kept pool and spent many happy hours there - it is never, ever crowded.
We were especially grateful to Sofie for her regular communications and for her promptness in replying to messages, doing everything to ensure we had the perfect stay. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Menton, especially those who have their own car, though walking to the nearest shop, the railway, and Menton itself is perfectly manageable. We even walked to Italy! (where there is excellent snorkelling off the rocks at Balsi Rossi, without needing to pay into the private beach which is very expensive)

1a Objekt für einen Familienurlaub
Der Kontakt mit der Vermietung bzw der Vertretung für die Übergabe/ Klärung einiger Fragen war von Anfang bis Ende freundlich und effizient. Unschlagbar ist die Aussicht (noch besser als auf Fotos) und die Infrastruktur mit Rollläden/ Klimaanlage sowie die Nähe zum schönen Pool und der Zustand der gesamten, gesicherten Anlage.
Die Wohnung hat uns derart gut gefallen, dass wir (mit zwei Kindern, 6J und 9J) hoffen, es wieder einmal nach Menton zu schaffen 😀

Underbar lägenhet med vacker utsikt!
Underbar lägenhet med fantastisk utsikt över Menton, berg och havet samt fina omgivningar. Balkong och en stor terass med matplats. En stor pool med solstolar. Lägenheten ligger på höjden som gör att det är en del trappor eller backar upp. Ett supermarket ligger i närheten och det är gångavstånd till vackra byn Menton samt badstränder. Lägenheten hade många faciliteter och köket var mycket modernt och välutrustat. Mycket bra med två badrum. Perfekt för en familj! Värden Sofie var mycket hjälpsam och vänlig.

Vacances les plus bruyantes de ma vie / noisiest holidays of my life
L’emplacement de l’appartement, au-dessus d’un boulevard qui circule beaucoup, et qui surplombe les plages et parcs de la ville le rend extrêmement bruyant toute la journée et une grande partie de la nuit. Nous sommes restés une semaine et rentrons épuisés par le bruit. Bruit des scooters et motos jusque tard dans la nuit, caissons de basse des fêtes dans le parc juste en dessous, animations à la plage toute la journée avec les haut parleurs qui hurlent jusqu’à 21h, travaux d’extérieur dans la résidence dès 8h, paysagistes qui passent leur vie sous vos fenêtres et tout cela avec un simple vitrage, autrement dire fenêtres ouvertes ou fermées c’est pareil.
Amenez vos draps si vous voulez des grands draps pour vos lits car vous aurez deux parures de petits draps pour un grand lit!
Amenez aussi vos oreillers car on ne peut plus appeler ça des oreillers.
Quant au canapé, il tombe en lambeaux et on cache la misère avec des tissus que vous passez votre temps à remonter.
Enfin, la place de parking attachée à l’appartement est régulièrement squattée par des inconnus.
Dommage pour ce bel appartement avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. Ce type de prestations est juste inadmissible surtout quand vous vous assurez au préalable du calme de l’appartement auprès des propriétaires avant de réserver et qu’ils vous assurent que l’appartement est très calme.

Herausragend der Panoramablick über die italienische und französische Adria und auf die Altstadt von Menton von innen durch die großen Fenster des großen Wonzimmers , hinzu kommt ein Balkon und eine liebevoll angelegte exklusive Dachterrasse. Die Lage in Menton Gravan ist ruhig und dennoch nah genug zu allem, was man sich wüscht. Ein Stück vom Paradies – vermietet von einer außerordentlich freundlichen, aufmerksamen und fürsorglichen Vermieterin. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Fabulous views
We stayed in this property for three weeks and enjoyed every minute! The apartment is lovely, comfortable, and in a peaceful neighborhood. The photos of the property, while accurate, simply do not do justice to the spectacular views from the terrace. The large terrace offers several sitting areas where we enjoyed the views overlooking l'Ancienne Ville de Menton, sweeping views of the Mediterranean, and Italy. The owner was very responsive and accommodating, as was the housekeeper,
Dolores. We sincerely hope that we will be able to plan another trip to France and stay once again in this lovely apartment.

Nous avons découvert un appartement spacieux, très confortable, très agréable à vivre, très lumineux, possédant deux terrasses donnant une vue à 180° de la riviera italienne à la vieille ville de Menton.
De plus, le petit jardinet nous a permis de nous détendre les après-midi parmi les plantes décoratives.
Situation excellente dans domaine privé au calme, avec garage et parking bien commode.

A nice apartment with wonderful views
It’s the second time we’ve stayed at this comfortable apartment in Menton Garavan. We love Menton, its mix of Italian and French speakers, and its eating culture. We also enjoy the walking, for example along the coastal path towards Monte Carlo. We also enjoyed a a visit to the village of St Agnes in the hills behind Menton. The apartment has splendid views over the sea and of Menton old town. It also looks eastward towards Italy. It’s proximity to the rail station at Garavan is another advantage since there are many beautiful stopping-off places along the line, such as Beaulieu-sur-Mere and Villefranche-sur-Mere. Finally, the apartment is situated in peaceful, well manicured grounds, complete with swimming pool. We had a great two weeks there.

Tolle Wohnung, herrlich gelegen
Sentationeller Ausblick auf beide Häfen und die Altstadt. Jedes Frühstück in der Sonne auf der Terrasse war ein Erlebnis. Auch zu Fuß ist es kein Problem, an den Strand oder in die Altstadt zu gelangen.

Wonderful and spacious apartment with stunning views of the Cote d'Azur
We stayed at this apartment for 13 nights and loved every minute of it. The apartment is spacious, clean, cleverly laid out and has truly breathtaking views of the sea. The pictures are very realistic. The apartment has a lovely terrace, good airconditioning and everything you could need for your stay. We were two adults and two children (one teenager, one younger child) and we also had an adult guest for a few nights. There was enough space and kitchen utensils to easily accommodate us all. The swimming pool is a good size, clean and surprisingly not very busy. The sea/beaches are 15-25 minutes walk away. The supermarket (U express) is 10-15 minutes walk down the little path (which you'll need to climb back up with your shopping unless you have a car) and Menton Garavan train station a similar distance. Chantal is very kind and helpful if you have questions. Menton is a nice town, with some good restaurants (can recommend La Topia and Les Enfants Terribles in particular) and a very nice museum of Jean Cocteau. We did daytrips by train to Nice, Monaco, Villefranche and Ventimiglia, and walked to Roquebrun. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

Wir haben eine Wunderschöne Wohnung mit einem traumhaften Ausblick angetroffen. Der Empfang durch die Hausdame war sehr herzlich. Wir haben alles vorgefunden was wir bracuhten. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles blitzsauber und die Anlage sehr gepflegt. Der Pool ist wuderbar, was dort fehlt sind Sonnenschirme / Schutz. Unser Auto stand sicher in der Garage.

We had a very good week at this apartment, you do need to be fit to climb up and down to the town though.
Only one negative, the property would be better served with more comfortable seating. On a rainy evening we four were a little too snug on the one sofa that is provided, otherwise everything else was super, thank you
