About this house rental
Our cozy cottage has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and sleeps 6-7 in a comfortable home setting. Enjoy the screened porch and the sundeck with an unobstructed view of Intracoastal Waterway 75 yds away. The approximately dozen golf courses within 10 miles makes this house a Golfer’s HQ. This home is also ideally situated midway between the bridges to Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach public beaches for families wanting fun in the sun and surf. The master bedroom has a Queen and cable TV, the 2nd bedroom has a Queen and a daybed, and the 3rd bedroom has two Twin beds, for total accommodation of up to seven people. Enjoy home features such as the large side-by-side refrigerator with water dispenser and ice maker, a microwave, toaster/oven, programmable drip coffee maker, Keurig machine, blender, quiet dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen (dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, mixing bowls, etc.), full sized washer and dryer, iron and board, vacuum, two TV’s (the living room unit is 50” SMART with a DVR), high speed WiFi for access to the internet and your favorite TV subscription services, and there are ceiling fans in all bedrooms, the living room, and the screened porch. Within the fenced backyard is a detached garage where you will find a 5-burner gas grill for backyard BBQ’s, and beach chairs, beach cart and umbrella for your use. The garage is lockable and great for safe keeping your golf bags and push carts, large coolers, baby strollers, bicycles, car carriers, etc. There is amble parking for three vehicles, or two vehicles and a trailer. Minimum booking is 4 days/nights, and last minute extensions are possible on a case-by-case basis. Regular check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM. A $750 refundable security deposit is held by VRBO, and there is a one-time $150 cleaning fee. Extended stays are welcome and discounts are automatically applied for weekly and monthly rentals. Check the calendar for availability. House Rules: Smoking and pets are not permitted anywhere on the property for the benefit of our guests with allergies. We rent to families, or single adults at least 25 yrs old (we do check). The property is in a quiet residential neighborhood, and reasonable sized parties (under 10 guests) are acceptable as long as loud, unruly, unlawful or otherwise objectionable behavior is not exhibited anywhere on the property. The maximum number of overnight guests is seven (7) people. Violating these rules will cause an immediate cancellation of the remainder of your booking, without a refund.

This was our second year at the Cozy Coastal Cottage, it was even better than the first. The house was spotless upon arrival, the hosts and the concierge service were spectacular and reached out before and during our visit. The location is perfect, close enough to Sunset and Ocean Isle beaches (5 min) but far enough away that you don’t have to deal with the tourist traffic all day. I would recommend this property to anyone who is wanting to get away and relax and unwind. We will be back.

Its hard for us to leave a negative feedback - but in this case I think its important that people know that the owners and managers of this property are not trustworthy or honest. We thought that the property was in nice shape with a few exceptions but it being a vacation rental we really didn’t think much of the items found and were not overly concerning to us. We took photos of certain things when we arrived in the event of an issue, but this owner tried to blame their lack of upkeep on us. The couch vinyl was falling off, the deck had a rotten spot in it that a chair fell thru during our visit but these are only a few things we found and informed them of the deck issue when occurred. The umbrella on the porch was broken upon arrival and we did not even use it because when we tried to open it - the legs fell out. We were unaware they did not know about the couch but we did not cause this and luckily we have photos from the day we arrived. They seem to just want tenants to pay for the cost of their upkeep because they certainly are not doing it themselves and claimed it was our family. I assure you we did not. We had a wonderful visit with our family during this vacation trip and that certainly outweighs the problems with this rental but please be forewarned that the owners and managers are not honest people. Do a through walkthrough and document any issues the day you arrive

We had friends with the beach house so we opted for an inland location that would make it quicker to visit other local areas. This was perfect for us. You can go south to Myrtle or north to Wilmington, or a couple miles and you are beachfront. House was clean and comfortable, and we would definitely go back.

December Fishing Trip
This is our second visit to the cottage and it was just as nice as the first. The property is very clean and had everything we needed. It is very close to the Sunset Beach boat ramp. The property Manager, Arnold, met us at the property explained everything and answered all of our questions. We had a great time and will definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal place
What a great place. Perfect place should you have kayaks or a boat. The owner was very responsive and even had someone meet us at the house when we got there to show us around. Not leaving it up to us to read an arrival book. Great personal touch. We will be back hopefully soon!

Cute home very close to great beaches
We loved the proximity to two great beaches, so easy to get to either Ocean Isle or Sunset beach. We spent most of our time at Sunset. The house was cute and easily accommodated our family with everything we needed. I would recommend better linens and a few pieces of furniture/beds could be replaced/updated. There were a few minor issues upon arrival which were taken care of and responded to right away by the owner. Overall, we had a great week!

Great house for a small family!
We came here with my wife, son (5), and our in-laws. There is a lot to do around the area and the location is in a perfect location. If you like sitting on a pier with a glass of wine as the sun goes down, this is the place for you. The beach accesses are very easy to get to and again you are between sunset and OIB. I would stay here again and look forward to in the future.

June Fishing Trip
We had a wonderful stay at your property. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved the screen porch and the use of the garage to store our fishing gear. We caught crabs off the dock but used the Sunset beach boat ramp due to tides and ICW boat traffic. Family Beach Vacation
We loved the property! The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. We enjoyed the location. You drive about 5 minutes and your at the beach. It’s right between Ocean Isle beach and Sunset Beach. My husband loved being so close to the dock and walked over there often. We loved that the property had beach chairs and an umbrella for us to use. We take a trip to the beach every year but we typically stay in Myrtle. I wanted a more quiet, family oriented atmosphere and that’s exactly what we got! We’ll stay again!

Excellent communication with the property owners. The house was extremely clean and nicely furnished/decorated. Very comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. We loved having a screened in porch and a front deck with a view of the intercostal waterway. There were nice beach chairs, umbrella and beach cart available for our use. This location was perfect for our visit. We were very close to Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach where there was public parking available. Groceries and fuel were within minutes of the property. We brought our boat with us and there was easy access to the area boat launches. We also enjoyed evenings on the community dock watching the boats on the intercostal waterway. We would definitely recommend this property.
