This home is updated in such a classy way... no corners cut! Bathrooms, Bedrooms and kitchen are spacious and immaculate. The location is close to EVERYTHING and the owner is very responsive.
Can't say enough good things. My sisters and my families stayed there for a family wedding.

Perfect set up for us with multiple ages. The Avenues is a beautiful neighborhood and centrally located. Dave (the host) could not have been nicer.

This was a GREAT house, well kept, clean and convenient. It was perfect for my family, especially for my elderly parents, since it has kitchen, dining room, living room, two bedrooms and bathroom with a walk-in shower on the ground floor level. The neighborhood was quiet and great for short walks. Dave provided good restaurant recommendations for places nearby. Overall, a great stay and would definitely rent this house again.

I brought a group of my voice students with their moms to Salt Lake for a competition at the University. The property was clean and spacious with enough privacy for all to feel like they could get away and think but also enough gathering space to enjoy being together!
The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels!
The host was friendly and responsive.
The property is very close to the University and fun places to go.
We walked to "The Wildwood," a restaurant down the street (about a block). It was quaint and cute! Great food! Make a reservation because it is small. Thanks for making our stay stress free!!

My family of 7 adults and 2 small children visited relatives in the Salt Lake area over a long weekend. Everything about this home was perfect for us. There were 2 bedrooms on the main floor for the older generation unable to do stairs well. The upstairs bedrooms were large and comfortable. The home was equipped with everything we could need! There was plenty of room for us to have a few relatives visit us for dinner. Our group included several runners and walkers who enjoyed exploring the beautiful area around us. The host was always available to answer any of our questions. I would highly recommend this home if you’re in the Salt Lake City area. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home!

We had a group of 10 people staying for 4 days. The house was a beautifully maintained historical building with lots of space. We loved the large dining area and kitchen. The sleeping arrangement worked perfectly for us. Dave was great about communicating and was nearby if we needed anything! I would absolutely recommend this listing for others!

The house is very nice, clean, and in a safe neighborhood. The landlord is very nice, and kind and responds very fast. We, eight ladies came to Salt Lake City for attending a conference, we had a great time in this house. We will come back again definitely.

We were somewhat familiar with the location. Upon arrival we were delighted with the location and presentation of the home. No issue what so ever with parking as this can be an issue around the city.
Upon entry into the home, we found it as described and found it delightful with high ceilings, appointments and plenty of room. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked to handle our special event needs.
The bed rooms were spacious with plenty of room for the entire family.
The back yard was especially nice. After each day of events, we would retire to the back yard and gather around the fire to wind down before retiring for the evening.
Would we use the place again, most definitely. Would we recommend to our friends, most definitely.
The property manager/owner was near by and willing to assist if there was a need. Nothing was needed, but knowing was comforting.
Thanks again.

We really enjoyed our stay, the accommodations were perfect for our family! Felt right at home and loved the kitchen most of all!

We have a group of 8 ladies plus one husband and one infant. We were in town for a conference at the Convention Center. This was close only 1 mile away and in a great neighborhood. The little Wildwood restaurant in the area is delicious!
The place was super clean and everything worked great. When we had a small maintenance issue, it was fixed quickly. We loved having a huge dining table to sit around and play games and visit. I do wish there was at least one more chair or loveseat in the living room because there’s just a couch and loveseat (seating for 5.)
It’s a beautiful old house with steep stairs so just know that if you’re staying here, you won’t be running up and down the stairs easily (especially carrying luggage.) 😊

This house was terrific for our three generation family vacation - grandparents, three children, four young grandchildren. There is space for eating in the kitchen at a big table for 4 plus island for 2, a big dining room for a dozen people (or more), large living room, 5 big bedrooms on two levels, with good (i.e. not fold out) beds plus many additional beds for children sleeping with parents etc.. Very pleasant small backyard patio and grass. The host lives next door and is usually at home, so he could answer questions and helped when we wanted to fill up a kiddie pool. We may return to Salt Lake City just because it was such a good house for our extended family.

I highly recommend this house if you are in the area. Everything was clean, beds are comfortable, house is well stocked and beautiful. Backyard was a delight, we sat out by the fire every night visiting. Perfect location!! We just loved our stay.

We came into town for the Marathon and stayed a few nights. The house was perfect. Everything was just as advertised. But what I was most impressed by were the details. So many little things were thought or and made easy. From dishwashing soap, toilet paper, coffee, towels, etc. It just seemed like all the little things were there to make our stay easy. And the house does not feel like it was intended to be a VRBO, but more like someone's final home project.
The owner casually checked on us to make sure that everything was well, while not interfering.
It was a wonderful stay for all of us. Thank you, David.

We had a great week staying at the Blue House! It has lovely historic charm with modern updates throughout. Having downstairs bedrooms and full bath was a huge plus! Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies, just not enough cereal/soup bowls for a crowd. We would absolutely stay there again!

We had three families traveling from different parts of the country to meet in SLC and this house was perfect for us. Plenty of common open areas and the fire pit area out back was nice too. The house is a good blend of old charm with modern renovations. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay in this Victorian home. There were six of us and everyone had their own bed. We were attending a conference in downtown Salt Lake. But we loved coming back to “our house” for the evening. The other people attending the conference were envious of our lodging arrangement :-)
It was comfortable for all of us. The kitchen was a great gathering area, the living room was cozy, and everyone had their own bed. Would absolutely recommend.
David was extremely responsive to all of our requests and questions. One of the best hosts I have experienced when renting a short-term stay location.

First off the owner/manager was wonderful!
We enjoyed the space and location of this lovely blue house. The kitchen was a nice place to socialize for our large group..
5 bedrooms was hard to find and this was perfect! All 3 baths were good, bonus sink to get ready in an upstairs room.
We were extended a courtesy late check out due to late flight. Greatly appreciated!
Would stay again 5 stars!

The family ski vacation this year was at Park City for skiing, but we stayed in Salt Lake City. As the title says, the house we stayed in was clean, convenient, and comfortable as well as being close in to SLC. It was big enough for all 9 of us to be comfortable and parking for 2 big SUVs was never a problem. If we go back to SLC we would stay here again.
