Great location very central to Bakewell. Parking very close by. Breakfast included was great and a nice way to start each day. Cottage very cosy and cute.

This cottage is generously equipped, very comfortable and superbly located to access great walks across the Peaks. It was lovely to stay here and we’d rebook without hesitation.

Really enjoyed our stay. Parking was very handy and breakfast at The Original Bakewell Pudding Shop was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

Had a nice stay at this property. However we were there in quite warm weather, and while the main floor remained cool, the upper floor was very hot with almost no airflow, which was a concern for our 18-month-old.
Otherwise, the place was well equipped and pretty clean. Having the breakfast included was a nice bonus!

We had a lovely long weekend in Bakewell.
Chapel Row is brilliantly situated to so much - Monsal and Tissington trails, great walks and of course Bakewell itself is wonderful.
The cottage is very comfortable with plenty of space for us and everything you need. Plus the added bonus of the breakfast at “The Old Original Pudding Shop” was awesome.
We will definitely be back

Enjoyed our stay at 1 Chapel Row. Comfortable living and sleeping space. Appreciated the heating being on. Lounge very cosy in particular. Shower was good. Appreciated the welcome basket thank you. Good space to store coats and footwear.
Loved our daily breakfast in the Old Pudding Shop, thank you.
Parking worked well at Brocklehursts.
Ate at Wheatsheaf. Food good, just too a while to come out, but enjoyed our time there nonetheless.
Also ate and drank at The Manners, which was also good.
Would agree with previous comments on some strong odours in Cottage but this is already well documented. Suggest checking bunk bed is fully stable as seemed to rock when our child tried the top bunk, so did not use it.
Thanks to Jemma for looking after us.

The property was very nice and had a homely feel. Well equipped and a good standard of furnishings. The location was excellent, 5 minutes walk to amenities and also a lovely park. The breakfast was a nice addition except they don’t allow dogs inside and it was raining so all the furniture outside was damp to sit on. We were told we could go to the Wheatsheaf pub and dine inside but the breakfast there was really poor so we resumed eating at the pudding shop, which was lovely for breakfast.

A lovely, well maintained cottage that's close to everything - ideal if you have young kids with you! Lots to do locally, such as cycle the Monsal Trail, visit Chatsworth House or drive a little to hike Mam Tor. We had a great time.

Luxury cottage in the perfect spot
This cottage brought us nothing but joy from the start to the finish of the holiday. Not only is it in a quiet corner of a picturesque village, the style and comfort throughout the cottage is of a very high quality. Little touches like the welcome pack and Nespresso coffee machine are thoughtful and the FREE breakfast at the Old Bakewell Pudding shop is an absolute winner! Bakewell itself offers shops, cafes and restaurants as well as walking access to the picturesque Monsal Trail. Thank you hosts. We will most definitely be back!

A great base to explore the Peak District
A lovely cottage which has been beautifully furnished and decorated to provide a real home from home experience. It’s central location makes it an ideal base from which to explore beautiful Bakewell and the Peak District. Some lovely touches have been provided by the owners - the welcome basket was very thoughtful and the free breakfast at The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop for every morning of our stay was a real treat and even gave our two teenage kids the incentive to get out of bed at a reasonable time so we could make the most of our break.

Amazingly located and well kept home
4 adults and 2 babies spent an amazing long weekend at this cottage. The breakfasts were incredible and made sure we had plenty of energy for the day. With the town centre a minute (if that) walk away, it’s ideally located for going around Bakewell. Not far from the Monsal Trail, Chatsworth House and Ashbourne in the water, all of which we managed to visit. Inside the cottage, everything is to a high standard and has anything you might need. Jemma was very helpful and responded quickly to messages. The welcome basket was very well received. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

We had a week's holiday in this wonderful holiday cottage. It's beautifully decorated and has everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is well equipped if you wish to cook yourself and the welcome basket was greatly appreciated. The vouchers for breakfast was a lovely touch and although we had our dog with us we were able to make use of these everyday. The parking space is very near the property and very secure. All in all a wonderful place to spend time in the Peak District and would definately not hesitate to book this wonderful cottage again. thank you.

Short stay in Bakewell.
We had a lovely break in Bakewell, the cottage was really nice and made the holiday extra special.
Everything was brilliant, specially liked the welcome basket and breakfast at the Pudding shop which was all included.

Absolutely amazing long weekend in this beautiful cottage.
We’ve just stayed for a long weekend at this beautiful cottage right in the heart of Bakewell. It is extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The cottage is ideally located for the town centre and the fantastic park which are both less than a 5 minute walk away (even with little people in tow!) there’s a great pub 2 minutes away and the secure car parking is excellent and so close to the cottage. The breakfast at the Old Pudding Shop was amazing; fantastic food and attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for you. We would recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a lovely place to stay with great access to Bakewell and beyond. We’ve had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to come back soon!

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Bakewell
Beautiful cottage that is a minute walk from the centre of Bakewell.
Exceptionally well equipped and clean.
Very comfortable and perfect for local walks and attractions.
The wonderful breakfast at the pudding shop was a bonus.

Great Peak District base with kids
We loved the central location, but it was still very quite. The house had everything we needed and added bonuses like a washing machine and a bike rack in the garden we’re really handy. Communications with Jemma were excellent and she provided us with a high chair, travel cot and multiple fans very quickly during a heatwave. The free breakfast at the Old Pudding shop was very good, but it’s worth noting it doesn’t open until 9am and service most days was slow. We skipped it when we had to put early. We were recommended this place by a friend and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful home, centrally located. Extremely clean. Easy walking distance to shops. Fantastic breakfast. Did not want to leave this morning. Would highly recommend this place. We would love to come back some time in the future and rent for a month, or two!

Lovely cottage perfectly located
The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and kitchen was really well equipped. Breakfast was an added bonus. We weren’t expecting to take advantage of it as we had our dog but Jemma kindly booked us a table on the courtyard. Only a few minutes walk to the centre and plenty of lovely running routes around. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Simply amazing
What a beautiful cottage! It’s spacious, clean, modern but also has character. The hosts had thought of everything, from the lovely welcome basket, to the fab breakfasts to the logs for a cosy fire. The cottage is in a great central location and the parking space was an added bonus (just a few mins walk away). Thank you for a perfect stay.

Perfect cottage base for a Peak District holiday
We had a lovely bank holiday weekend stay in this house. Clean and spacious cottage and really well appointed. Perfect base for exploring the Peak District and Bakewell itself is a lovely town with plenty of places to explore. Within 20ish minutes drive of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Matlock, Buxton etc. The welcome basket was a lovely treat on arrival and the extras like wi-fi and Netflix etc were great for keeping our toddler entertained during time spent in the house. Breakfasts in the original Bakewell pudding shop were scrumptious and the vouchers were much appreciated. Parking was super convenient and close by (1min walk). Would be more than happy to stay here again and will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Lovely cosy cottage
What a brilliant location right in the centre of Bakewell. The cottage was cosy and warm and contained everything we needed for our short break. One of the bedrooms is a bunk, which we knew, but it was a bit tighter than expected for my 6’ son! Would be a perfect night time den for younger children though. The breakfasts at The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop were delicious, as we expected having eaten there several times before. Nothing is too much trouble for the waiting staff. Would highly recommend this property either if you want to park up and not use your car for a few days or if you would like great access to the beautiful walking country surrounding Bakewell.
