A memorable stay.

The breakfast was delicious. A very nice variety of something warm plus cereal, fruit, and pastries. We love coffee in the morning and it was available by 615 at our special request and we sure appreciatedit. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to town. Our room was very comfortable. They are so helpful getting your luggage to and from the ferry. I don’t know how they could’ve made our stay better.

It was a clean, convenient place to stay at Mackinaw Island & a great breakfast to start your day.

The breakfast was amazing, and the location was terrific.

Bigger mirrors in the rooms and more places to put your suitcases and clothing.

Nice spot off of the beaten path yet close to everything. Breakfast was fantastic!

Very nice facility with the old time charm. Was located just far enough from the main traffic to stay quiet but really close to the lake front.

Only one thing bothered me.. Please install some sort of support to hold on to while getting into or out of the tub. It is very tall for most people

Pleasant trip back in time with great innkeepers.

It was a quaint Bed & breakfast...step back in time. It reminded us of an old fashioned boarding house. The innkeepers were great and gave us great tips.

Would have like a place to hang towels in the room since it was a shared bathroom, hook on door or even somewhere near the sink.

I’ve stayed here many times over the last 35years. it’s changed hands a few times. It’s always quiet and clean

I think it’s way over priced for what you get. It used to be reasonable, but not anymore

Pine Cottage is a great place to stay on Mackinac Island. Great location good value and good breakfest. Great views from the room, and great staff.

Relaxing and low stress.

Breakfast was pretty good. Would have liked the addition of fresh cut fruit. The innkeeper was very friendly and helpful.

Bathtub did not have a soap dish or shelf of some sort to hold soap, shampoo, etc. A shelf of something similar by the bathroom sink for toiletries to sit would have been nice as well.

very welcoming. the dahlias were still beautiful throughout the island, as well as the hydrangea’s. enjoyed local fare.

how clean and kind everyone was.

hot in room. pulled curtain across to block sun when arrived. turned down heater to 64. still hot at 8pm.

The stay was great

It was in a good location, the place was very clean and interesting, the Managers were great, the breakfast was great, the Managers were very accommodating holding our luggage for us while we hiked before our departure. It was somewhat difficult to go down the hall to the bathroom.

We thought the Pine Cottage Inn was a great place to stay on Macinac Island.

Pete and Caroline were wonderful hosts. The homemade breakfast meals were delicious, and Pete and Caroline made sure that we were comfortable and were enjoying our stay there.

Inn keepers were very helpful and friendly! Great cookies. They let us know when our room was ready so we could check in early. Comfortable beds!

Room was small and there was not enough table space to lay things.

Our stay at Pine cottage was very pleasant.

We had a great view. The room was very sunny, well decorated and inviting and clean. The breakfast had variety, was plentiful and it was good. The couple managing Pine Cottage are very congenial and helpful.

We needed an extra shelf or vanity in the bathroom near the sink.

Pine Cottage is a great, quant stay for a romantic getaway.

Breakfast was awesome! The room was very cute. Shared bathrooms were always open, clean, and stocked. Super quiet neighbors/hotel overall. We will be back! I recommend the queen with shared bathroom for younger couples. Would be nice to have your own bathroom if you're traveling with kids, which this hotel does have, just for more $$.

They were so friendly! It was really close to everything and the breakfast was really good.

The mattress was pretty hard and the pillows were flat and hard other than that nothing to complain about
