The cottage was beautiful and we loved the location. Quiet lake and the cottage had everything we needed for our entire stay. My only complaint would be the beds weren’t very comfortable but cottage was great otherwise.
4.0
It’s a wonderful cottage at a great location. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the small things - bring your own toilet paper, no axe/hatchet for firewood, bring your own bedding (Covid is for the most part well behind us!), thermostat not working, multiple little things like that that at other Vrbo stays in the last couple years were all taken care of by the property. But they are all small things, the big picture is excellent and we had a great time.

We had a great time at this property. It was spacious and clean. The water access was excellent. The view was spectacular. Adam was quick to respond and very helpful. Kitchen was well stocked. The baby gates were really appreciated. Even the fire pit was first class! We loved it.

Just make sure you bring linen and bedding.

Adam is a great host and the cottage is wonderful. Beautiful place with an amazing lake view. Good access to the lake, as well. The grounds are well kept with lots of space. And so close to all the peninsula has to offer. Also great amenities so you have all the comforts of home. Love this place.

Our family was looking to get away just for the weekend, and this was the perfect retreat. The place was ready for us and nice and clean when we arrived. Everything was fully stocked with what we needed, including Nintendo and puzzles that kept the kids occupied for the weekend. The lovely trails nearby we’re close enough for us to go hike, and just looking out the window on the beautiful lake brought instant relaxation.
Thanks for opening your home!

I apologize for the late reply. After our stay last fall we hit the ground running to give our efforts to battle this pandemic.
Adam was top notch in getting us in and settled. Followed up upon arrival to make sure everything was satisfactory.
It was 3 days we desperately needed to unwind and prepare for the winter. Mission accomplished.
A beautiful peaceful spot to be and cannot wait for the end of June to stay a full week.
Highly recommend this property.

Started out generally nice as the owner seemed to be a good host in initial conversations.
Downhill from there, quite literally, the location has a steep downhill driveway, which although the owner promised to have it snowplowed, was left totally covered from when we arrived until after we left and put us all in danger every time we came or went.
Once we braved the driveway, we arrived to find the owners left an unclean kitchen and cupboards full of old stale foodstuffs (even though they stripped the beds and cupboards “for COVID safety”.
The stay was find and uneventful, until we left. When they then falsely claimed damages on a wall which had been hidden behind a couch the whole time we were there.
Renter beware with this one!

This cottage on Miller Lake is comfortable, has all the modern conveniences, and beautiful lake views. The owner Adam was quick to respond to questions throughout the booking process and very accommodating. The location is perfect for exploring the Bruce Trail between Lion's Head and Tobermory.

We had an amazing time. Everything we needed was available at the cottage. The cottage was beautiful and spacious. Very relaxing being right beside the lake. Our kids had a lot of fun playing outside, lots of toys and activities for them to do indoors as well. The owner, Adam, was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Overall, we really enjoyed everything this cottage has to offer and we'll definitely come back in the future.

Aesthetically a beautiful cottage and setting. However, it is way overpriced for a property that didn’t provide any basic amenities. We had to bring everything from Bedding linens, towels, Dish washing supplies, salt and pepper, toilet paper and everything in between including firewood. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived and cleaning overall was suspect. Covid protocols in listing were not followed, (mattresses were not in plastic) PLUS we had to take our garbage Home with us or be charged extra.

Rental process was easy and property owner reponded promptly to inquiries.

My family, friends and I absolutely loved the cottage and it's amenities. Adam went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable: he answered our questions quickly and accurately, and even reached out to a friendly neighbour to help us patch our flat tire when all of the nearby garages were closed. The pictures are accurate but do not capture the amazing views. Everything is easily accessible and the cottage was very easy to find. Our 18-month old had a good time running around the open concept living space. The 9 year old enjoyed the scenery and Smores by the firepit. My family has been cottaging for ten years, and this cottage experience was definitely one of the best.

Spectacular view and quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed walking/hiking in the area. Couldn’t take out boats which wanted to do - as no life jackets and couldn’t bring ashore without standing in water and rocks.Great kitchen and bath.

Adam's cottage was great! He was very quick to respond to any questions. The location was also ideal, we were close to all the hikes/beaches/Mountain bike trails around Tobermory. Thank you!
