Original proprty that was booked was “unavailable” due to pipe bursting. Spent an hour trying to get let in on phone with VRBO. Finally got told to try contacting the host on my own when VRBO could not contact host. Host gives us another property they have. Went from 3 bed/ 3 bath to 2 bed 1.5 with guest sleeping on the couch. The house was flipped with many areas not finished. Full complaint wirh pictures will be shared with VRBO

Very convenient the concert venue, but not impressed with the property. I have my reasons. But very convenient to the amphitheater.

Everything was great except for the barking dog next door. Barks day and night. We almost left after the first night, should have. Everything else was great.

First off the the complaint number filed thru VRBO is #120841664. Drove 2 hours and was unable to get the keypad code to work to get in. Spent 1 hour trying to get in between 4 of us with no success. Messaged the property owner and said that the code was correct. No it was not or either the code pad was faulty. Left my number so that someone could call me back with no success. Even the phone contact number went straight to voicemail and left multiple messages. Called VRBO and spoke to a representative and they also couldn’t contact the property owner. Needless to say I didn’t even get access in. And an additional expense in finding a hotel room just to have a place to stay. Even spoke with a neighbor that said he’s seen other guests having trouble getting in. I have video of the key pad not working and will continue to seek full reimbursement ! If that means seeking legal counsel then I will. Messaged the property owner on Sunday when we got back with still no response. I will call VRBO again tomorrow until I am reimbursed ! DO NOT stay at this property. It would have been nice to review it but as stated we where never able to get in !!

It was great and we plan to rent again next September 26-30, 2024 for the GABBAfest celebration. All was great and enjoyed our stay.

Attention to some general maintenance issues would greatly enhance this VRBO. Deco was nice, place was clean. The conversion from a single bed (pictured) to a double was a nice surprise.

The property was as described but was a bit hard to find even with gps.

Everything went very smoothly with check in and check out. The space was very well outfitted and very comfortable. The location is fantastic with easy access to great venues; everything from dining and entertainment to museums and science centers are all very close by. Nights were nice and quiet with no interruptions. Would definitely stay again!

I liked the house, just don’t like potential bugs.

my overall impression is this unit is dated and needs to be updated in some areas, the area that has carpet in it needs to be repaired or replaced, has trapped tobacco odors in it, one of the bathrooms needs the proper size toilet seat installed and the shower rod needs to be replaced, it's dated and needs decor updated, atmosphere in unit overall is ok

Not really a luxurious condo
It’s mote like a unique townhouse located in a small apartment complex in an interesting neighborhood. The first thing you notice are the bars on The first floor windows. The second thing you notice is a foul smell coming from the kitchen. Thirdly you realize all the lights are quite dim. The kitchen is small sticky and dark. For a more positive impression, the landlord responded quickly to our report of a foul smell in the kitchen. When we were unable to locate a toaster the landlord had one brought over to us the same day..The house is two blocks from the Allman Brothers Big HOUSE Museum which is the biggest draw for staying here. Lots of room so bring your friends and come visit

Near downtown and Macon Auditorium
When we were going to a show a Macon Auditorium there were very few VRBO listings available for 5. This is three bedrooms two bath upstairs, couch downstairs and 1/2 bath, full kitchen, dining room, living room, and patio. It is interesting that you are going down a street lined with huge houses, but as soon as you turn off a block or two the neighborhoods rapidly change. This unit is in a string of small condos, there are metal bars on the windows, behind our porch was a fence with barbed wire on top. I say this because I want people to know, and if you are super sensitive this may turn you off, but I don't say it as a negative for staying here. We had no issues, the place was great, close to everything we wanted to do, clean, plenty of room, and we hardly saw any other people, but we had no issues at all with the location or neighborhood. The check in went as planned, the host was responsive. Overall was a good experience for us, I'd stay again.

Bait and switch!! Buyer beware...
We drove to Macon to go to a concert and this was going to be a one night stay before we turned around and went home the next day. The owner sent a message 20 minutes before check in saying that the place we rented was not available due to a water issue. Apparently the people before us had overfilled the washer?? The owner said that she had a comparable place to stay with two bedrooms and being that we were already on our way and we need a place to stay. She sent pictures and we said fine. After the concert we drove to the new address and oh my God. There is the wrong side of the tracks and then there's this place. I have never seen an entire neighborhood made up of duplexes. The duplex across the street from the new place was literally falling apart, paint was peeled off most of the houses in the neighborhood, and a lot of the siding was falling apart, trash on the road and low/no streetlights. We did not even get out of the car. When I contacted the owner she acted like it was a perfectly safe location. There was no way we were staying there. After contacting VRBO we were told that this was going to be investigated as a bait and switch. When VRBO tried to contact the owner they could not get in touch with her yet she was texting me. I am suppose to get a refund for the night. We will see.

Great Place
We only stayed for one night. The place was clean, quiet, and had plenty of space for the 5 of us.

Clean, comfortable and convenient
Upstairs has king master with full bath and two queens with full bath between and washer/dryer in hall closet. Fans in all bedrooms, hair dryer, hangers and plenty of drawers. Tv in master. Downstairs has half bath, table with four chairs, two additional chairs you can pull over, sofa and side chair, tv on wall. There’s a small desk and chair in dining area we used for counter top space. Kitchen has stove we didn’t use, full fridge with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, double sink and high top table with two chairs. Yes there are dishes and utensils. Coffee maker is four cup. There is a patio area we didn’t use. Very convenient location with off street parking. Owner was quickly responsive before and during our stay. We’d stay here again.

A good value
Our travel was delayed that day due to Hurricane Elsa, we arrived at 11 pm where we had estimated 7 pm and had booked the property with 1 days notice. We received our check-in instructions earlier in the day and were exhausted when we arrived; unfortunately we were provided the incorrect address in the check-in instruction text we received and when we arrived at the address we were sent, there were people there.
We messaged Felicia through the VRBO app and she responded quite quickly. We were able to clear up the mistake and get to the correct property only a few miles away.
The property is an older style townhome in good condition. The furnishings were simple but nice, with a dining room table, breakfast pub table, what I think was a writing desk facing the back door, small sofa and a tv downstairs. The 2 larger beds, queen and full, were very comfortable, and the linens were nice, clean, and soft. The twin bed is a day bed and the mattress was thin as they tend to be. The rooms are of a fair size and not much appointed above the basic sleeping space, small dressers and side tables.
The master bathroom was interesting, small spaces and the water closet, separating the toilet & shower from the washroom, lacks a functioning door despite the evidence that it once existed.
The devil is in the details though and there were a number of those details that keep me from giving this a higher rating. The walls show evidence of old hangings where the screws are just painted over. The kitchen cabinets were distressed but use a paint that remains tacky to the touch, as do some of the walls. The fan in the master bathroom howls like a banshee if you try to run it. The stove another reviewer had mentioned is since replaced, but was still partially in it's packing materials.
Those aside, I can see the work the owner is doing and would still suggest giving the property consideration given it's value and location.

The place was fairly clean but we did find a dead cockroach right in the family room when we arrived which made me question how thoroughly the place had been cleaned. The pictures are a bit deceiving as I wouldn't classify the place as "luxury" but it was nice overall on the inside. The kitchen cabinets were all scuffed up as they were being refinished but we weren't notified so that was interesting to walk into. The pots/pans are awful and our dinner burned literally within 60 seconds of being placed on the burner because it only had 1 setting. We had to throw a bunch of food away because of this. The beds were fairly comfortable and the place is very spacious. There is minimal furniture in some rooms, and the couch seemed to have several stains on it. We were concerned as we drove through the surrounding area as it seemed to be run down. There are bars on the front windows and barbed wire on the fence on the back porch area. In my opinion, there weren't sufficient locks on the exterior doors. Felicia was very responsive to our concerns/feedback. I hope some improvements are made as this could be a very nice place.

Comfortable, cute townhouse
We stopped here for a night enroute from Florida to Ohio. It was the perfect size for our group of 6. The property was perfectly clean and wonderfully decorated. We had everything we needed for dinner and breakfast for the short time we were there. We always enjoy staying in homes even for a short stay since we are often traveling with our family of 5 and a grandparent or 2. We didn't get a chance to explore Macon but did do a quick photo stop at The Allman Brothers Museum which was located right around the corner.

The house/ bed
Everything was nice, it was very loud if sleeping in the first room. The daybed was very hard.
Other than that it was nice, inside house was really nice.

Best Stay...Hands Down
Felicia is incredible! She was very accommodating and very quick to respond to our questions. The place was very clean and had all the necessities for a few nights stay.
The neighborhood had a lot of life within walking distances. The Almond Brothers Band Museum was just a skip and a hop away.
We are regular traveler’s and rate this as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed!

Plumbing needs professional help
Nice place just needs some deep cleaning and better plumbing. Found the firestick TV hard to operate.

Don't Be Fooled
We selected this property because it was centrally located and because of the amazing price. Pros: clean (though many things are in need of repair -- the cleaning lady was still here when we arrived, and she was super-nice), manager brought over a mat for the bathtub as soon as we asked for it (VERY slipper tub - my elderly mother very nearly fell), price (as mentioned), 2 of the 3 bed were comfortable (small bedroom mattress so hard that one of us had to share one of the other beds), and it was quick to zip to the places around town we needed to go. Now for the Cons: I noticed there was no picture of the front of the building in the listing, and that did raise a flag in my mind... but we proceeded anyway. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy -- this is not a "condo" at all, but a shabby apartment complex. There are bars on the windows. Locking mechanisms and handles on sliding glass doors do not work. Fixtures in both showers only give water that's scalding or frigid (we were able to get the tub-shower to work a bit better, but never were able to use the tiled shower). The kitchen is dreadfully ill-equipped. Dishes are old, pots and pans warped with broken handles. Microwave tilts out of the wall as it's going to fall off, and the stove doesn't work properly. The one time we tried to cook (using a broken skillet), the whole kitchen filled with smoke (because the burner only runs on high heat and the fan doesn't work). Smoke filled the lower level of the house. We were sure the smoke detector would go off, but there's no smoke detector on the bottom floor -- which didn't make us feel very safe. Furniture (what little there is) is old and uncomfortable. The listing shows the place brightly lit -- it's actually dark and shabby. Also, the "private courtyard" is dilapidated, unusable and surrounded by fence with barbed wire at top, hanging cables, and is not exactly inviting. This place COULD be nice, it just needs A LOT of love. An example of "you get what you pay for."

Comfortable
This three bedroom property was very comfortable. Pillows and mattress were perfect for a good night's sleep. The whole apartment was clean. Grocery store is close by car. We had a nice visit.

Great experience
Pleasantly surprised. Very clean throughout. We didn't use any of the appliances or dishes but was impressed at everything available. Only issue was we couldn't figure out the Fire TV but the property manager was EXTREMELY helpful but we still weren't able to figure everything out. That was the only blip but it was a wonderful experience and considering this was our first time using VRBO, it didn't turn us away from future use. This is great for a small family

We rented this space for our daughter and her new husband for their wedding night. They loved it! Especially the enclosed back porch! :)

Just a short stop on our way to Florida. Minutes away from the Allman Brothers Museum and minutes away from tubing. Very clean property, lots of space.

Just fine
Not sure if "luxury" is an accurate description of the property but it was fine, spacious, plenty of room for our family of 5. Extremely close to Allman Brothers Museum!

It was a little disappointing because the lake Jarvis was closed and wasn't anything to do.
The property was fine ,didn't care for neighborhood but the condo was pretty nice.
