A környék jó, könnyen megközelíthető. Az ágy nagyon kényelmes.
Fürdőszoba. A zuhany és a WC nem megfelelően működik. A hűtő eléggé rossz állapotban van.

Well equipped kitchen, although we didn't use it. There was a grill in the terrace. We didn't meet the staff so we can't rate their approach. The location is good, close to great restaurants and the ferry/bus stop, although you have to climb a bit to the hill.
The bathroom was a little small, and the basin was outside of it (behind the TV around the corner :)

Great position, nice staff, nice common space with books, kitchen and toilet to use even after check out.
Unfortunately I must have had the worst room because it’s none of the ones showed in the pictures and the shower was very terrible (also not showed in any of the pictures): old, pointed straight ahead and had no inclination whatsoever so you have to hold it with your hand while you shower with the other; on top of that, hot water runs out after 10 minutes and I wasn’t aware of this since there was no boiler in sight.
Really unfortunate that I ended up with this shower just the day that I was looking forward to it the most (I had come back from a windy whole day cruise to Gozo etc so I needed a good shower and to untangle my hair which was a mess but didn’t get the time to use conditioner so I ended up spending my last day in Malta with crazy hair, haha). Whatever about the hair, but cold shower with no warning really wasn’t pleasant.
Also I found a black mark on the pillow case and black marks on the towel.

Nothing as we did not able to stay
Same room sold more than 3 people. No response from owner.
Place situated on hill. If u r with luggage be ready to carry it up to floor by hand as there is no lift also be ready to carry it back. Totally disappointed.

Loved the location. Hill was a bit steep. food market near by.
would stay again. absolutely loved Sliema. Best side of Malta to be on. Close to Ferries and Buses.
Quiet area.
Laundry was very handy.
We had trouble with the door lock code system, that is used
and just simply had no clue how to use it' it was explained well. thou it just wasnt that easy when never used a turn handle pull and push thing. Once mastered it was good.
Kettle broke was replaced
lack of power points, in the room.

Quiet location, clean and close to water.
The patio sliding doors are broken on each end. The left side does not lock. I was able to get the right slider to lock but it is missing a screw. The shower head also is leaking.

Clean , comfortable bed and good location.
I particularly chose this property because of the balcony so I can do some work outside. It turns out my room didn’t have a balcony. I felt it was misleading since the main pictures of the property showed a balcony. I found the surrounding a little depressing with so many buildings around.

Location was close enough to reach the local bus and ferry station. Less than 5min on foot.
You can easily reach the supermarkets (local ones and Lidl).
Room is big enough for two persons, equipped with kettle, tv, fridge, ac...
Internet connection was not stable and the bathtub could be cleaner.
Dont forget to bring the adaptor for the sockets, Malta uses plug type G (out of two adaptors for disposal, only one was working).

Noisy environment (roads, tourists), dripping/leaking shower fitting, constant humming noise in the background, windows didn't offer any noise insulation, only get fresh towels every three days,

The location is central, the check-in was very easy, the facilities were good, the bedding, the bathroom and the kitchen were clean and I enjoyed Netflix a lot :-D
My room smelled strongly of cigarettes - especially the curtains. And unfortunately the place is not for noise-sensitive people - you can hear everything from the other rooms and from the corridor and the street is NOT quiet as described - it is narrow and every little noise (from people and cars) carries super loudly, even through the closed windows. But that is my only complaint, because noise bothers me so I believed the "quiet street" description - if you don't mind it, the place is great!

mold in the bathroom

Ta Gianni Guest House is well located in Sliema and close to many bars & restaurants. The check-in was smooth and automated.
Zzzzing customer service very quick and approachable. Cleaning personnel superb and super helpful as we kept prolonging and needed some extra bed linen or blankets. The double room was clean and equipped with basic utensils for cooking.
Shower doors need some fixing, otherwise everything was really functional.

Although on a hill like almost everything in Malta the location was pretty good. Easy check in and access to the property. The value for money is OK, but did expect a bit more.
The bathroom was pretty dirty and it seem quiet run down. There was mold all around and in the sink and shower. The rest of the room was not the cleanest either but not too bad compared to the bathroom. Was a bit disappointed when I realized there is no balcony in the room but this was probably a mistake on my end.

It was in a good location. It had very nice access because you did not need keys etc. It was very very cheap. And in safe location
Well there was a huge rain and the hall was filled with water pooring from the steps, after that the main fuse dropped and we could not get in the location but the maintenance came quick. The sheets and room where clean but the first floor did not have second window so it had extreme high humidity and because of that the bathroom had mold in many spots. We had two rooms and the one of them did not have warm water for two days then someone came and fixed it.Its not that it had major issues (well the mold is an issue) but these are things that could easily be fixed and should not have happened

The location is nice, walkable around town. Having a washing machine is a big bonus, as is the contactless payment, arrival, and departure.
There is no real ventilation in the bathroom, so there is a significant amount of black mold growing on the walls.

location, kitchenette, clean room.
very cool they provided washing detergent.
it's very close to the harbor: about 10 minutes walk to the valetta-ferry
It was very damp in the room, maybe I could have helped this by switching on the ac?
the street is VERY steep and there is no elevator in the building so take this into account if you are not fit

Pro: very clean, great location, chromecast with Netflix!
Cons: very noisy (could hear the other guests word by word), shower is in need of replacement (hot n cold), kitchen is not equipped with basics and lacks a stove.

Everything was perfect!! Very clean room!!The woman on the front was very friendly and help us with everything that we wanted!!
I think one negative of the hotel was that is in a big uphill! If you are tired of your tour there is very difficult to walk to your hotel!! Last one was that the check out is on 10 o’clock and you have no time for everything, if your flight is late at night you will be very exhausted then!!

I liked the mattress, it was very good soft but hard enough for a good sleep. The TV which has chrome cast and Netflix account connected. And they were responsive, we didn't have adapter in the room at our arrival, but after writing to them, next day, we found them in the room.
Some inconveniences are that they don't clean the room for you during your stay no matter how long it is. You need to pay for changing towels or for requiring extra towels. Moreover they require from you to clean the garbage bin from your room before leaving, but there are no indications related to how and where.
The biggest inconvenience was that they say they have free parking - this actually means that they have some parking spots on the street (around 3 or 4 on the sides of the building) which are occupied most of the time and I visited Malta during the end of September, the street are small and it is hard to find parking around the block.

Nice to have tea, coffee, oil, vinegar etc. in the kitchen and a bottle of water.
Very nice terrace but due to the heat wave we could not enjoy it during day time.
Big comfy bed.
The bathroom was very tiny.
Nobody at reception or in the premises, a bit unpersonnal.
Very steep street especially when you have to climb it with your luggage.
No possibility to store the luggage on the day of departure!

It was like having your apartment - so so nice!
There was chromecast in the room, which was a nice surprise. Super clean and comfortable with a nice terrace.
All in all a really nice stay!

Place is very close to everything you will need. Is very close to see side where is very lively atmosphere. However it is nicely hidden from all the noise for peaceful stay. But you will need to walk long steep hill to get there, what would be easier for us if we don’t have push pushchair with a child as well.
Place on its own looks much much better on pictures than in real. Bathroom looks tired and old, also mouldy and not very clean to be honest. I also found pieces of glass in a sink which was shocking considering we had a child with us and this could end up quite bad if he would find it before me. Shower is very small. You have little kitchen in the room but there is not much there, there is also one in common area however neither one has a stove top. So it’s suitable for self catering but it’s not. Lock to the room is easy to open as you get a manual in a message about how to do it however we had to ask people staying there how to lock the door. There were very helpful but pointed out that they struggled with it before and had to contact the owner to find out how to lock the door. Overall I am glad we stayed just for one night otherwise my holiday would not enjoy my holiday. Also the first picture on the booking advertisement shows nice terrace, but don’t count with getting that, seems like that is only one room with that. I didn’t find the option to book it and we ended up with a room being on the ground floor without any balcony.

Good Aircon, Free Water, April
Shower cubicle could need a refurb.

- terrace (the terrace is shared but you have your own big separated part)
- location (5-10 min walk to bus stops/ferry)
- well equipped room (but small additional towel and umbrella on the terrace would be very helpful)
- late check-in
- breakfast is very cheap and simple (don't expect too much from it)
- cleaning and breakfast refreshing was only 2 of 7 days we stayed
- the door to the terrace can not be locked (the room has a small safe box, but if you have bigger items like a laptop, that could be a problem)
- only cold water in the shower (but it's ok if you travel in hot season)
