fijne plek

centrale plek, maar wel rustig; we hadden de tuinkamer en konden in de patiotuin een wasrekje gebruiken . Gezamenlijke keuken, niet echt geschikt om te koken maar wel grote koelkast, klein oventje, waterkoker en nespresso apparaat; Wel gezellige plek om eventuele andere gasten te treffen.

Great location for enjoying all Tavira has to offer

Very central location in Tavira, right on the square. Room was airy clean and comfortable. Shared facilities (kitchen and sitting area) were spotless and well provided for. Highly recommended

Great location, very cute rooms, nice owner abd cleaning staff. All works well anf puts you in a vacation atmosphere from the first minute

I understand rooms are not cleaned every day, but at day 3 we ended to have to biy our own toliet paper and trow away our garbage and there is not enough material for a breakfast for 5, so great to sleep but no grrpuo breakfast possible

Very confusing to find (address listed is not the correct address) and parking is only free at night and before 9 am. There was a common area for coffee/tea, but they were out of coffee. Staff on site was helpful.

Downtown Alegria Tavira

Great central location in Tavira. Easy parking and close to all amenities. Comfortable beds, nice communal outside spaces throughout the property. Basic kitchen facilities provided. Friendly and professional staff.

Everything was perfect for short 3 night stay. For a longer stay the kitchen would benefit from a small cooker to boil some eggs for example. Nevertheless, we would return to use this accommodation again.

Disappointing

The Alegria is a B&B on the top floor of an old house. It’s in a very convenient location and has been nicely renovated.

The internet was out completely for a while and then there was limited internet in the common area and none in the bedroom. This was a problem for us, as we were on a working holiday. The owner didn’t take it seriously and clearly felt we should just make do. In this day and age, that’s just not good enough.

Best location in Tavira

Location, location, location. The Algeria is right in the middle of everything in old Tavira. There's the river, a grocery, restaurants, atm's all right there. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. You could sit on the little balcony all day and watch the goings-on in the square.

I wish it had a microwave instead of a toaster oven in the guest kitchen, but that's minor. The wifi was touch and go in the evening.

Well positioned. Good for a single traveller. There are stairs - be aware if you have heavy luggage.

Central location with a couple of restaurants and a small supermarket in the same street - as well as a small taxi rank - very convenient. A ten/fifteen minute pleasant walk to the train station. The room was clean and tidy with a nice size shower.

Great place, but no cooking.

Great location, lovely room, great shower!

The kitchen was not a full kitchen - I expected to be able to cook. There's a good- sized refrigerator, a tiny countertop oven for toast, a hot water kettle and a coffee maker, plus plates, mugs, flatware. But no cooktop.

It was a wonderful place to stay and located close to restaurants.

The room was spacious and clean. The common area had a refrigerator, toaster oven and was very comfortable. This property is perfectly located. The owner was very friendly.

Good value and comfortable rooms

Friendly staff, comfortable room and central location. The shared kitchen was nice to prepare breakfast and have coffee in the morning.

Nothing major - the outside furniture could probably be upgraded, but it was nice to have the outside space.

Nice, quiet, comfortable, central

Great location. Very walkable. 3 min to ferry, 5 min to laundromat. Next door to market. Restaurants everywhere. Very friendly and helpful host (although we only saw him once when we checked in). Nicely appointed rooms. Quiet. Secure. We had a room over looking the square (not one with the interior courtyard. We would definitely stay here again.

Kitchen wasn't very well equipped (no range or oven) but that is okay because we had planned to eat out all meals. Really our main concern was the shower head was funky and the shower didn't drain. If the shower had been working fully/properly we would have given this place a 10.

Exceptional

Small fine hotel with a shared kitchen in a nice design. The owner has managed to integrate things from old times in the finest way. From our balcony there was a view of the small square with restaurants and bars. Quiet at night. Good beds and aircon and very clean everywhere. A few minutes' walk to the ferry that goes to the most beautiful beach with the clearest water. Friendly and helpful staff. We'll be back
