Russ and Nancy are amazingly attentive, never intrusive hosts of this exquisitely located and furnished house. From the many emails I sent before arrival, to our stay, Russell and Nancy were informative and attentive to our every need. Everything in this home is sparkling new, beautifully furnished, clean, in top working order, and the sunrises over Pilgrim Lake that we saw from the living room windows were incredible. I walked easily to the bay at Noon's Landing to swim, and once I walked to Provincetown! Made this trip the best ever for us, after 40 years of coming to the Cape! Thank you Russ and Nancy!

We’ve stayed in this same neighborhood for the past 4 years but this particular home was great in so many ways. Loved the views, loved the rooms, just overall the relaxation we wanted and needed. The only thing we missed from our old place we stayed at was a deck table and chairs with umbrella but they had plenty of deck chairs to kick back and relax on!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay. The place over all was perfect! Nancy and Russell were wonderful hosts. Looking forward to another stay with them.

Very spacious and clean! Cottage was on the lake side, not the bay and we actually loved it more! Beautiful sunrises, starry nights, and very peaceful and quiet. Owners were a pleasure.

We had a wonderful experience with the homeowners and a lovely stay at sunrise cottage. Highly recommend! The cottage was clean and adorable and spacious! Perfect for the 4 of us. Gorgeous views of pilgrim pond and the dunes from the back deck and master bedroom. Sunrise cottage had all towels and linens included and kitchen had everything we needed. The loft was perfect for our 16 year old and our 19 year old loved the double bed room. The beds were comfortable and the AC kept things cool. Incredible beaches and we just fell in love with Truro! Nancy and Russ were very helpful on ideas about dining out and beaches as well as other local activities and beaches to try. Overall just a great experience!

When we walked into Sunrise Cottage #7 for the first time, we were so pleasantly surprised. The first thing we saw was the gorgeous view of Pilgrim Lake and the dunes beyond. The floor plan was well-laid out and spacious, and everything was clean and fresh-smelling. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the bathroom was roomy and had a washer and dryer. We found the king-sized bed comfortable with plenty of space to move around. We especially appreciated the feeling of privacy as this cottage sits by itself. Nancy and Russ, the owners, were readily available, but never intrusive. Truro is such a special place. We were fortunate to spend three weeks in this home away from home.

We enjoyed our week spent on Beach Point. The cottage itself has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated to provide desired amenities along with a coastal charm. The location was perfect for trips to our favorite National Seashore beaches as well as some eateries. The week passed by much too quickly, due in part to such a comfy cottage and the care taken of it and its renters by Nancy and Russ.

Great location close to Provincetown and several wonderful beaches. Russ and Nancy were super helpful and had a lot of great recommendations. The cottage had everything we needed to enjoy our few days there. We had a wonderful time.

Very nice place to stay for outside activities and easy access to Provincetown for shopping and dinner. There is a bit of noise from traffic on route 6 but you get used to it. We used the shuttle bus into Provincetown a lot, it picks you up on 6A infront of the cottage. We rode our bikes everywhere else. We had a great time staying here. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

It was just myself and my husband - but had others stayed there would have been plenty of room. King bed was comfortable, loved the showet - large bathroom - comfortable furniture - all hardwood floors were a plus for us as we don't care for carpet, deck gave excellent view of Pilgrim Lake and the sunrise - comfortable location - lots of free standing condos around us but felt alone [no noisy neighbors] - if you like to be outside either biking or hiking etc you are right in the thick of some excellent places to do that. The owners, Nancy and Russ, were very informative in that regard. We are alergic to mold and mustiness and there was none of that here. We would definitely rent again.

What a great house in a gorgeous spot! My girlfriend and I stayed here for two weeks with our teen kids. The house is beautifully designed to feel bigger than its footprint (with four full-sized people we didn't feel cramped at all), get abundant natural light (you can watch the sun rise over Pilgrim Lake) and catch the cool breezes off the bay and the dunes. The teens loved being able to bike along Shore Road into Provincetown and us grown-ups loved being able to bike over to Highhead Beach to see the seals come out of the water, and on to Coast Guard beach along the bike trail extension (we had the beach to ourselves most times). Russ and Nancy were perfect hosts: always available to answer questions (they live across the street) but never obtrusive. All in all a perfect two-week vacation. We hope to return.

Comfortable and convenient
We liked the location with easy access to Rt 6. Many beaches were a short drive away. The road the house is on can be busy during day, but was fine for early morning walks/runs. The deck space was nice for grilling. The floor plan was open between kitchen and living room which we liked. Some amenities could use refreshing (such as cutlery and pots/pans), but were sufficient. We liked having the dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Good view of pilgrim lake. Lots of natural light. We had a fun and relaxing vacation there. The owners were accessible and responsive and very pleasant to deal with. We appreciated their suggestions for dining and activities in the area.

Perfect Spot
The house is in such a good location and we would definitely go back! The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Having laundry available was a huge perk for a week long trip. We were very happy there and the sunsets from the deck were beautiful.

Nice cottage next to noisy highway with no safe walking and no Bay access nearby. Needs furniture update in living room.

Great place
We stayed for a week and the place had more than enough room for us. The place is bigger than what we expected. Russell was quick to answer any question we had and even let us know that the place was ready really early.

Perfect cottage for a vacation in North Turo
Cottage was exactly as described. Plenty of room for all our needs. Beautiful beaches 5-10 minutes away. 10-15 minutes to Provincetown. The owners live across the street and were super helpful.

The condo gave us more than enough space for my wife and myself. Check in was easy and the condo was very clean. We know the area well and this location gave us easy access to beaches in P-town and Truro within a short drive. The location allowed us to able to go on a whale watch, take in a movie at the Wellfleet drive in, see an outdoor show at Payomet Performing Arts Center, visit the Pilgrim Monument and hike the dunes on the National Sea Shore all within a short trip. We are looking forward to return next year.

Fun Cape Cod Vacation
We enjoyed the rental property! Location was great close to all beaches, Ptown, and Truro vineyards. The cottage was spacious and had great views of the dunes, lake, and sunsets from the deck. The second bedroom needs a mattress replacement, the mattress was very uncomfortable. Overall, enjoyable stay.

Nice getaway
Nice property with great views! No beach on property but we drove to the national sea shore beaches anyways! Bus to Ptown is great just wave it down at the end of the driveway, it comes “every 30 mins” (just wait for it don’t bother calling CCRTA it didn’t help. The house was nice and spacious. Bedrooms got really hot at night so leave the doors open with air conditioning on. Russ and Nanacy are very nice and accessible!

Easy, breezy, beautiful Cape Cod
We loved our stay here! Perfect for our family of 5 adults. The house was super clean and has everything you could need, especially laundry and air conditioning. The house is small but it doesn’t feel cramped - the layout is open, bright, breezy and tidy. Beds are firm but comfortable and linens are included which is awesome! We rode our bikes everywhere and loved being so close to so many beaches and P-town. The sunsets were gorgeous! Be sure to wake up early to watch the sunrise over Pilgrim Lake from the deck. The view of the lake and the dunes from the house is breathtaking. We cooked dinner in all but one night - there are ample pans and dishes and a dishwasher! Stop & Shop is just a few miles down the road. Don’t fret about the grill, which is small to match the house, because it cooks so evenly (much better than our big grill at home!) Nancy and Russ were gracious hosts. They made us feel so welcome and shared such great local insight. The only thing that could possibly make this place better is an outdoor shower. :) Thank you Nancy and Russ for sharing your house, We look forward to staying again.

Nancy and Russ were fantastic landlords. They were unassuming but responsive and helpful. Their property is beautiful clean and modern overlooking Pilgrim Lake. I would recommend staying her to anyone that asked. Can't wait to return. Thank you Russ and Nancy for allowing us to enjoy your piece of paradise!

Bang for your buck!
Where do I begin? Let me say that this cottage is well worth every penny that you will spend. We had a total of 4 people in our group. 3 adults and an infant. The master has a large closet, shelves, radio, lots of books, and a couple of board games. The 2nd bedroom had the same accommodations. There was a third room upstairs that we didn't use because the space downstairs was large enough. Hardwood floors throughout, except room upstairs, which is carpet, and the bathroom which is tile. The shower had plenty of hot water and pressure which is great. The washer and dryer were located there and are a great asset, especially with a 9 month old. Kitchen was well stocked. Electric stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Pots and pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, microwave, and TWO coffee makers. The living room had flat screen, stereo, dvd player, sofa and loveseat, rocking chair and a great view of the dunes. We took some amazing pics of the sunrise.
The deck was nice with plenty of space, small table, chairs, and a gas grill.
We had a fantastic time due to the owners hosting us and the property being immaculate. They are great people. Very knowledgeable about the attractions and beaches in the area. We will definitely be coming back for our next trip spring/summer in 2019.
Please reach out to them if you're looking for a great place that is affordable and very central to the beaches, nature trails, and P-Town. The shuttle has stops right in front.
Thank you guys so much.

Spacious, clean, easy access to the beaches, close to Provincetown, shuttle availability, sunsets
We stayed for a week and enjoyed our time. Stop and Shop is close by, as well as several nice restaurants. The shuttle to Provincetown and the beaches stops right in front of the cottage. There’s a nice deck where you can sit and watch the dunes across the lake and the pretty sunsets. But there is ongoing traffic on Route 6.
We would stay again!!

Perfect spot to visit Provincetown and the beaches but must purchase beach passes. Nice cottage with helpful owners. Would suggest blinds for the master bedroom. The sun was intense. Great visit!

Wonderful Vacation!
This house is wonderfully located just minutes from great beaches, restaurants, attractions, and Provincetown. The house is new and fully stocked for vacationers. An added bonus is the helpful owners who gave us great advice on the best beaches and restaurants. As other reviewers noted, this house is located off the main highway (Route 6), and you can hear the infrequent cars whoosh by--but the sounds seemed relaxing to me, actually--not a problem at all. If you are bothered by the sound, just close the windows and turn on the air conditioner. With the windows open, however, there is a wonderful breeze. The deck is especially nice. We hope to go back again next summer and stay in the same place--this trip was fantastic!

Overall nice stay
This was our first time ever renting a cottage and vacationing in Cape Cod. We had a fabulous time! Overall, the cottage was nice and met our needs. It was very clean, pretty well-stocked: pots, cooking utensils, plates, glass ware, cable, dvd player, towels, washer/dryer), easy to deal with the owners (they are easy-going and friendly), great location, easy access to P-town, there was a nice ocean breeze through the windows so we rarely used the A/C. The one downside are the beds which weren't all that comfortable. They could certainly upgrade the mattresses.

sunrise cottages
Overall, it was a very nice experience. The cottages are beautiful inside - everything is brand new and with a very nice aesthetic. There are nice little amenities too like some spices, salt & pepper and straws in the kitchen to cleaning supplies, towels and beach toys for the kids. There is a nice view of a body of water across the street and the cottages are located close to many things.
The negatives were the beds - pretty uncomfortable, and the noise from the traffic outside. However, since there's air conditioning, we simply closed all the windows at night and put the air on so it really wasn't an issue.Otherwise, it was very quiet since there was only one other family visiting that week. It was nice to have a whole cottage to ourselves since our 2 yr old can have some loud crying jags.
