The house was exactly as described with a perfect location with short walk to beach. Comfy bedrooms with little balcony overlooking sunset and sea were great. Patio area was a nice place to relax and cook out on the grill. Hosts were easy to communicate with and professional. Great stay and wonderful home base in Puntas.

This was a great little house with a serene outdoor space. Our hosts Ryan and Erika were very helpful with suggestions for local beaches and restaurants and responsive to all our needs. Since we prepared many of our meals we were very happy with the plates, dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, and sharp knives in the kitchen. The only thing missing was a dish drainer and basic condiments like salt and pepper. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed the view of the ocean from those second floor rooms. The access to the upstairs is via a ladder with broad steps and sturdy railings, but we are all seniors and hauling the suitcases up and down them was a bit of a challenge. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in Rincon at the Rustic Retreat.

I love the location. The people. The beach. The property manger were extremely helpful. It would be been perfect if there wasn’t a giant treadmill in the middle of the living room. If it is not ok to be I be pictures is probably not ok to leave an unusable treadmill in the living room and rent to your guest.

So glad we returned to Rustic Retreat! Perfect location with the beach so close. Moonbathing in the outdoor bathtub is a dream, as is the outdoor shower. Favorite place!

This was the perfect cottage for our stay in Rincon. Location near the beach, everything we needed, just the right size, well kept, nice out door sitting area with grill and tub. We would highly recommend and will stay here when we return.

Simply perfect. Tasteful design. Completely clean and well equipped. Fantastic views and beautiful jet tub on lovely patio surrounded by lush, tropical plants. Private yet close walking distance to beach and coffee shops, great corner bar, surf shop, local owned pizza truck. We had a time to remember and can’t wait to go back to this incredible rustic retreat! Big thanks to Erica, Ryan and boys. We totally love Rincon and your charming, unique, funky beach cottage made our visit a dream come true!

Loved the rustic retreat and Rincón. Very short walk to the beach but a very steep hill is good to know. Loved the outdoor space and tub but watch out for fire ants. Ryan and Erica were super cool and helped whenever needed. I would come back here a million times. Comfy beds. Great kitchen. Ac worked great. Lovely view. Amazing location.

We arrived to the destination and parked in the driveway. We finally went to the door and opened it. Once inside we put our bags down and did an inspection. The house is built amazingly. There are no cracks for little bugs to come in, etc. The furniture is nice and comfortable. The kitchen is useable and packed with silverware. The two bedrooms have two AC’s that are powerful and strong and cool the entire house down. There were towels in the bathroom and beach towels downstairs on a table. The house was fully equipped. The house is secluded in a nice environment and quiet. I would 10/10 come again! Thank you Ryan and Erica!

A comfy and relaxing retreat to get away from it all, soak up the island vibes, and bond with the family (kids ages 11 and 8)! We loved hanging out on the patio in the mornings or after a day at the beach. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Great location and close to everything! The owners were very accommodating and so nice! This home made for a very memorable family vacation!

The Rustic Retreat was the perfect stay for me and my (7 year old) son. We enjoyed 10 days at this home. We loved the outdoor tub & the beautiful views from the balcony! The hosts- Ryan, Erica, Dante & Rise are all so kind and friendly. It’s walking distance from restaurants, beaches, and gift shops. After exploring Rincon, I would say this part of town was my favorite! We will definitely be back!

Ive stayed almost everywhere in Rincon and this place is by far my favorite... Ryan and Erica have everything dialed in. Great kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms are beautiful , the patio is so perfect for hanging out and grilling. The view is perfect for looking down to see what the waves/wind is doing. The place is bigger than the pictures portray.. The best part is the location. Probably the nicest street in puntas. I walked down to surf in the mornings. Cant wait to come back. Their family is super cool and nice. Cant wait to come back. Thank you for everything Ryan, Erica, Dante and Rise!!!! Best trip ever.

Perfect little retreat!

Perfect little retreat!

Quiet area for rest and relaxation. We loved the outdoor area, we sat out every morning for coffee and evenings we grilled and had cocktails. Walking distance to sandy beach and barefoot yoga. Ryan, Erica, and their children are exceptionally friendly and provided anything we needed. Will definitely stay again!

Tranquil Retreat!

Tranquil Retreat!

We loved our short stay here. The cottage was adorable, but it's the location and surrounding environment that makes it so special. I kept calling it the "tree house" because it feels like you are nestled into the hillside along with the lush trees. As night the sound of the coquis, insects and breeze makes you think you are sleeping inside a nature soundtrack. The patio with table and chairs, hammock and second floor balcony are all perfect for outdoor living. We spent very little time inside. The house has mostly everything you need for a comfortable stay. Some proper wine glasses, lounging chairs and newer sofas would make it perfection. Ryan was a terrific host! We look forward to returning one day soon.

Another great stay at Rustic Retreat!

I think this trip makes the third or maybe fourth time we’ve stayed at Rustic Retreat. Huge thanks to Ryan, Erica and family for another wonderful stay! The house is always super clean and comfortable and the addition of an outdoor soaking tub was a perfect way to finish off long days at the beach. The location is ideal for easy access to good waves, great neighborhood beaches and restaurants, and just far enough up the hill to still have plenty of peace and quiet in the evenings. The top deck has a killer ocean view, perfect spot for morning coffees and surf checks. We keep coming back here for good reason, and we’ll certainly be back again soon! Our family of 5 had a great Christmas time here. We really appreciated the cottage feel in a civilized jungle. Loved having space around us to enjoy the iguanas, birds and oceanview. Close enough by car to Rincon proper and walk to Sandy Beach is fine if you like walking. It’s quite steep to get back. Ryan, Erica and the kids were simply great. They made sure we were comfortable. The cottage itself is just big enough and is loaded with charm. We loved this getaway and would stay again.

From the moment we first booked with Ryan we were impressed with ease of communication and timeliness of response to questions and inquiries. He met us in person at check-in, which was such a welcoming gesture. We found the Rustic Retreat to be even more spacious than described, and the patio and grounds lovely and welcoming. The location is *prime* for exploration and adventure, with the first of many beaches mere minutes away. We kept commenting how close we were to everything – it was just ideal! We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here – the hosts, the house, the location, the tropical frog-song! – and became more enamored with all of it with each passing day. I think that’s probably how it goes with Rincón (and Puerto Rico in general) – it starts to work its magic on you a little bit at a time, and before you know it you’re hooked! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Rustic Retreat to anyone needing lodging in the area.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Rustic Retreat and would highly recommend this property. The house was spotless and laid out perfectly, the kitchen was fully stocked, super comfy beds, and the bathroom was adorable with gorgeous double wooden doors! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the ground floor deck and afternoon cocktails on the second floor deck which had a spectacular view of the ocean! We really enjoyed the peaceful quiet of this location as it is nestled amongst the trees while still being located within easy walking distance to and from Sandy Beach and assorted shops/restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming and informative and provided everything we needed for a truly wonderful vacation. We will be back!
