I was here from June 28th through July 30th, and, with one notable exception [the locks], I quite enjoyed my experience and highly recommend it. If the single exception can be remedied, I will definitely consider returning next year.

Cottage was perfect for our weeklong trip. Everything was clean and worked. They prepped the exterior of the cottage for the approaching hurricane. No issues during the storm event. Held up well. Very responsive host.

They were happy to take $2600 from me without warning how about the daily 6:45 AM tree cutting and construction sounds on weekdays.
Ventilation is poor and house gets very hot in summer with windows closed during the day while you’re gone (you can’t leave them open unless you risk water getting in and being liable for it,,, The house was shut up when I found it for a reason)
Ventilating the house takes hours. with all 13 windows cranked open.
No screen doors on the front and back door makes it difficult to get the heat out of the house, and because there isn’t a screen door on the front you can only see the small view of the water if you go out on the deck or you put yourself in front of one of the windows.
House was clean though.
Waking up every morning at 6:45 AM to noise so loud that you can’t work there either during the day while taking money from customers is greedy

Great view
The house was perfect. Everything you could think of needing was supplied in this spotless house on a secluded hilltop. The view was spectacular and it was so comfortable. Wildlife outside our door. I give it 5/5 review. It was great. We’ve rented from Vacasa before and are impressed with their attention to detail. Will def rent from them again.

Perfect Maine Getaway
We were offered this property after finding an issue with our original booking property. It's much more than a cottage. It's a very comfortable modern hill-top cabin house. The kind size bed was exceptionally comfortable which was complimented by the cool night time breeze blowing through the open windows. We loved morning breakfast on the deck overlooking West Penobscot Bay. At night we enjoy use of the grill and perfect copper fire pit in total mountain privacy. We had everything we needed for an exceptional 11-day trip. Downtown Camden and main street Rockland were a short drive from the house and Acadia National park was less than a 2 hour drive. The owners were very accommodating as well as the local Vacasa staff. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Liked the location and the home itself.
Had most everything we needed.
Wish the TV utilized the tv antenna outside so we could watch some local channels. Wanted to watch a little local and national news. Had to use my phone to watch a football game that was being broadcast on one of the local channels.

Beautiful place and very peaceful. Washer and dryer did not work and only had 3 towels and had to go to laundry mat to wash clothes and towels.
Driveway needs a little work but overall it was a great place for the four days we were there. Beautiful view!

Lovely and Disappointing..book anyway
This is a sweet cabin, beautifully decorated and tucked in the woods away from the busy touristy area. The owners have tried to think of everything. The online description said there was a pull-out sofa sofa / futon. Instead, there was a terribly uncomfortable cot. When we arrived, the flowers outside were dead, surfaces were covered with dust and the bed was unmade. Not only that, but there were Queen sheets and they had replaced the queen with a king bed so we couldn't even make up the bed. We called Vacasa and when we returned that evening, the beds were made. I discovered later that the trash had not been emptied. VACASA apparently runs the rental out of Oregon but advertises with VRBO. They did refund us the cleaning fee. They had offered us an early check-in so we arrived several hours early but that doesn't make up for the glitches. The house is wonderful and hopefully they are doing something about the cleaning service. I hate to write this kind of review but depend on reviews when I am booking with VRBO. I have never had an experience like this before.

Peaceful. Private. Perfect
I can not say enough positive things about this perfect little cottage. Set high atop the tree line, our view was fantastic. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, we had everything we needed. Kitchen is fully stocked and everything is spotless. The linens in the bedroom were crisp and comfortable and plenty of towels available in the bathroom. The mattress is VERY firm so if you like a softer one—bring a topper! Owner was very responsive to any questions I had and extremely pleasant. The driveway IS challenging, but you are given fair warning that you may need a 4 wheel drive if it’s wet. Centrally located, every place we wanted to visit was a short car ride away. Take my advice and hit up Flatbread Company right down the road for some amazing flatbread pizza. We had an amazing stay at Sunrise Bay and it will definitely be at the top of our return list for places to stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Class house
We loved the house, location was great for people wanting to be near Camden, Rockport and Rockland. Lobster $5.85 a lb Rockland harbor.Gravel driveway a bit steep to get to house but once up the view of ocean, islands and forest worth it. Wild turkeys right outside window. address sign at road hard to see and needs to be made more visable

Cozy cabin with a view
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin — it is a perfect couples getaway.
The kitchen is well equipped (we cooked most of our meals) and the porch offers a delightful place to enjoy meals with a view.
Close to Rockland and Camden, nice walking trails, shops, and restaurants, we couldn’t ask for more in a home base!
Our only suggestion would be that the owners invest in some lobster crackers.

Meticulous Hideaway A Great Bargain for the Fall
I wish my home was as neat and well laid out as this home.I have the same heater as they do and it keeps the house toasty, you just have to give it a few minutes to cycle on.Spotlessly clean.I am 70 and was able to get up the driveway fine.Grill was a neat addition as I entertained family. If you love a commanding view, silence of the woods, and all the conveniences you will love this house.King bed plenty of room

Great casita- great view - great owner
The cabin itself was a marvel...ingeniously designed and well built. Well euipped with everything you need for a stay of any length of time. We cooked several times and all the equipment was there. We had a chance to meet the owner and she, too, was perfect. The proximity to Maine's Mid-Coast and its great seafood makes it the ideal spot to spend time. The place made our two weeks go by way too fast.

Amazing getaway
This adorable hilltop home made for a great getaway weekend. We spent most of our time on the covered porch that gave us the opportunity to be outside, taking advantage of the views and peacefulness even while it was raining. The home was very secluded, which being from a busy city was exactly what we were hoping for. We are already looking at our calendars to see when we can visit again.

Quaint cabin in the woods but close to town. Very good location.
Very nice location between to major routes. You can see the ocean from the home and also see turkeys in the yard.
