We went to SB for a concert. This was a great location and we had a fabulous time

A very pleasant home with roomy kitchen and big shower. It is located in a walkable historic neighborhood close to downtown but fairly quiet. We really liked the location.

Had a nice stay at this property. We walked almost everywhere we went in town. It is an urban environment and on a busy street, so expect more car/truck noise.

This cozy cottage was the perfect spot for a ten day visit with my son and daughter! A 5 minute walk to downtown was absolutely key! Would definitely recommend!
4.6
Cottage was dusty, cobwewbs. Coffee machine had not been emptied, complete with wet grounds. Window in unit was wide open upon arrival. Bathroom set up awful. No tv or music system.

Husband and I stayed here for eight nights. This property was super cute and fit our needs perfectly. Loved that State Street was only three blocks away and everything was truly walking distance to this bungalow.
We got to meet the owners who arrived to stay in the back ADU. Super nice people and we enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine with them.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any friends who would like to be centrally located to downtown Santa Barbara.

Loved the location. Very clean. Cute house with front porch.

This charming cottage was the perfect place for our Santa Barbara visit that included a commencement celebration and exploration of the local area. The cottage itself is welcoming and comfortable, the drive to campus is short, and the walk downtown is an easy one. Enjoy!

We were in town for several family events and this was the perfect location for us. The cottage was spotless and so cute! Easy communication with Connie. Recommended!
4.6
The cottage was comfortable and offered what we needed. Easy walk to State Street restaurants, shops, and services.

This property is in the perfect location to everything - it's just a short walk to the beach or downtown and close to the Freeway. It was a wonderful place to stay for our 1st visit to Santa Barbara!

Great location for walking around downtown Santa Barbara & the Funk Zone. Property managers very accommodating. Would stay there again!

The owner is very nice and easy to communicate with. We noticed some scratches on the wall in one of the bedrooms and sent it to her to ensure it wasn't us that did it. I'm not sure how often she visits the rental. I say this only because she sounded surprised at the scratches.
Her house is walking distance to the shopping and coffee shops!
If you have a car - the driveway they have is unavailable to park in. It's too bad because it's right there! There is street parking but you must read the signs to obey the times and days. It's really not that bad.
Here is word of caution if you have mobility issues. I had a full knee replacement almost a year ago so I'm aware of an uneven pavement.
When you open the gate to walk towards the house, there is a giant, metal North, East, West, Star, directly in your path. It's kinda awkward to walk over. Please be careful.
They have two bedrooms - one bedroom has a bed very LOW to the ground.
The other bed is normal height.
**Beds were the best part of the ARBNB!! Super comfortable.
The bathroom is itty bitty and the toilet seat is very low. Just a word a caution.

We had a fantastic stay in Santa Barbara at this 2-bedroom cottage. Location 2 blocks west of State St. was excellent -- close enough to "the action" but still relatively quiet -- only moderate street traffic and no rowdiness or anything like that. No A/C and it got a little warm on a couple of days, coming back to the house after an active day outdoors, but we opened windows and used the fans provided and were perfectly comfortable. Greatly appreciated the nice kitchen, coffee and tea supplies, and lovely shower in the (lone) bathroom. Two bedrooms, but I think it would be a little cramped to stay with more than 2 people for longer than a weekend. Beach chairs and beach towels provided too -- Fantastic!

Loved the proximity to downtown and beach. Woken up by soil compactor at 7 a.m. our first morning. Yard work is being done. We were not notified about the work until the afternoon after we were woken up. Got questioned by owner regarding how many people were staying at the house (we had 3 people) and when we checked in, when we had no violations. Owner replied that we were correct, with no thanks or apology. We arrived home late Saturday evening after our son's wedding to find the gate locked on our off street parking spot. Had to drive around and find street parking when the rental comes with the off street parking space. Contacted owner and once again no apology.
Bring earplugs! The road noise is loud in the front bedroom.

My family enjoyed our stay here. The home is walking distance to restaurants and shopping. It's a very short drive to the beach as well. Keep in mind the home does not have a TV. This was not a problem for us as we were out all day and played board games in the evening. I would recommend.

We stayed at this cute 2 bedroom house and loved the location. We enjoyed daily walks to Starbucks and sitting on the front porch enjoying the mornings. Note there is no TV in this home (I did not pay attention when booking) but it actually turned out well for us - a nice relief from the daily stress of COVID-19 and other stressful issues.

Perfect Bungalow in the Heart of SB
We stayed here for an outrigger race held at Leadbetter Beach & it was perfect! We were able to walk to the race, grab coffee downtown & walk to the Funk Zone for beer & wine. Great location & comfortable home for a weekend away. No TV which forced us to relax & enjoy each other's company.

Great location, house could use some work
The location was perfect for walking around downtown. The inside could use some work, bathroom was updated but still had some painting that needed to be done, kitchen was not fully stocked, no backyard, and I would have expected a washer dryer in any house I rent. Also, the windows are all single pain and there is no AC so it can get VERY hot in the house if you are there in the summer. The character is older craftsman, so I get that it isn't new construction, but the windows should be updated with better window coverings to keep out the sun/heat, plus more fans or portable AC unit for the hot days. We have rented many houses and this one was at the bottom of the ranking, even though it was cute. We were only there two nights, so the issues weren't a huge deal, but I wouldn't stay again unless it was updated.

A simple cottage getaway.
Very close to all great things in Santa Barbara.
