This was a great home for our family. We came down to celebrate our son's graduation from the Charleston School of Law. The amenities, especially the pool, were great. The kitchen is well appointed with lots of cooking utensils and dishes, etc. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable. There are a lot of rules on Kiawah so important to be aware of those. For example, no more than four cars in the driveway. This was a bit of a problem for us as we had four cars that travelled to the home and we planned to have our son over for dinner after graduation so that would have been five cars. We just had to go pick him up instead of letting him drive over himself. We brought our own bikes and that was a good thing since there is no parking at the beach access unless you drive about 10 minutes to the public beach at Beachwalker Park. Unfortunately, the lot there fills up quite quickly (by 10 am) so we could not get a spot. We had two infants under 1 year old to they could not walk or bike to the local beach. What we ended up doing was driving to the access closet to the home (boardwalk 38), dropping off our beach gear and the family there, and then drove the car back home and rode a bike to the beach. The bike ride is under a mile and quite easy. If all you had was adults or older kids and were just bringing a beach chair you could easily just walk or ride without having to the drop off. But for us with the little ones, all the baby gear required us to do the drop off. Once on the beach, it was beautiful!

Great location. Easy bike ride to beach, just make sure that you use the shortcut.

The home served as a great home away from home for our family! The home was large enough that everyone had their own space. We will definitely come again!

Great home and layout for parents with smaller kids. Bunk room is right beside of master for added peace of mind. We loved the layout. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.
The decks and porch are wonderful. We loved the pool as well. We were thrilled with our stay here.
The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean.

Great island getaway...very secluded and private. Distance to beach is quite far without near parking so bikes are a must. House is spacious but bathrooms and kitchen coukd use an update--especially the range which wirks poorly. Property manager very helpful. Overall, relaxing vacation

We enjoyed the homes layout, pool and wonderful peaceful area that is Kiawah. The beach was an easy bike ride away. We’d recommend this place. Management was responsive to a few problems. House needs more coffee mugs and master shower needs work. But other than that -great stay!

This Kiawah Island home was perfect for our family of six! It had every creature comfort, including a saltwater pool that was refreshing after a long day at the beach. The grounds were gorgeous and we especially loved the covered back porch to relax and unwind. The beds were super comfortable, too, which is a rare find in a vacation home. I would absolutely return to this gorgeous home on this exclusive island paradise! Only downside is you are quite a distance from life in and around Charleston, though if relaxation and a getaway from it all is what you desire, this is the perfect place for you!

Everything was spectacular. Thank you all for the hospitality.

This house was a nice size and well appointed for our two families sharing the house. The pool was great and the back deck was beautiful and relaxing. The location was nice for walks and bike rides, though we drove to get to the beach. The house could definitely use some updates, the kitchen and bathrooms were outdated and awkward, and there were a lot of ants and spiders inside and outside. Overall though, it was a great place to experience the beauty of Kiawah.

House has a great family setup in bedrooms and bathrooms. Great deck and pool. Kitchen appliances could use updating. Fridge hardly makes any ice. Bathrooms also feeling a little aged but everything worked okay. For the rental rate we were pretty satisfied.

Great Vacation Home
The furnishings, layout, bedding and towels were all just lovely. Easy ride/walk to the beach. Was a little cold for the pool but it looked lovely. Back porch is divine for morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Eating under the live oak was beautiful. Everything was very clean upon arrival and smelled amazing. Vacasa did a great job periodically checking in. Hopefully we'll be back Belted Kingfisher!

Beautiful, Relaxing, Fun.
This house is perfect for a quiet family vacation. Cozy, elegant, spacious. It has a great mix of indoor and outdoor space. There are games and puzzles to keep kids busy for hours, and lots of quiet reading spots. The pool feels like it is in a tropical garden - which means someone will need to learn how to use the leaf skimmer - and there are nice sunny and shady spots that move throughout the day. The beach is a mile away by bike, but the trails to get there are such a winding adventure that each trip is fun. And of course, the beach biking is epic, with interesting things to explore in both directions. Golfing, biking, running, fishing, beaching, fooding. For a family getaway, I think it can't be beat.

Great friends vacation
We enjoyed our time at this well appointed home very much. The beds were amazingly comfortable. We had 6 adults (3couples) mid 50’s, and the indoor and outdoor space was plenty, especially during covid. Probably an 8 min bike ride to the beach. Very doable, but too long to walk unless it was for excercise, so rent bikes as the island is perfect for riding. We put a puzzle together on the large coffee table with football going on the large tv several evenings, cooked all meals in. A grand time.

The house is amazing. Lots of room for a larger group to eat and play inside and out at the pool. We had a problem with the fire alarm going off and we had to figure it out alone. The maintenance service responded quickly to our text we sent initially but no one every help us figure out the problem. They sent a young guy with no mask and very pushy to help with no identification that he worked for the agency. He supposedly fixed it but after he left an hour later the fire alarm went off again and continued to go off and we would text and ask for help and no one ever got back with us or seemed to care at all. It was very frustrating. I love the house but they need a new rental company to assist with problems. And there was no one else to call.

Beautiful house!!
Really enjoyed our stay on Belted Kingfisher!! Pool was so much bigger and nicer than it appeared online. Plenty big enough for our immediate family of four and 3 grand parents. Never could get the dvd player to work in the family room even after maintenance came out , appeared that remote was missing. All in all it was a great trip, probably our 10 th rental property and would definitely rent again. Happy Holidays 😀

We had a wonderful time. The house is lovely, open and spacious!
We had a great time. We didn’t see any bugs! (As some of the reviews mentioned!) The owners also had put starter supplies in all the bathrooms and kitchen. The house was well stocked. The dishwasher broke while we were there - but the rental company sent someone out to try to fix it - but they were unable. The house is very nice - one unexpected thing - one of the queen bedrooms has its bathroom across the foyer - by the front door - the bedroom has glass doors - which have a thin curtain - but doesn’t offer enough privacy for another married couple! It is also bit far from the beach - but I would recommend this house! ☺️ It was very comfortable - especially for the price!

Kiawah Island oasis
This is a lovely home, very private and secluded. The bike rental company was very helpful in telling us how to access the beaches, on which we hardly ever saw anyone. Read about watching the dolphins feed at low tide, that was a big highlight for us. The local property management were extremely attentive and helpful as well, they clearly are passionate about Kiawah Island. The home was clean, spacious and has a great layout for two families.

Beautiful home, but skimpy on amenities
First impression of the house was that it was very roomy and spacious! It was nicely decorated and cozy. We stayed for four nights and enjoyed it, but not without our share of complaints.
I think the biggest complaint that renters should be aware of is the roaches. Soooo many roaches. We first noticed them in the master bathroom. I saw two crawling around and immediately called my fiancé to take care of the situation. I didn’t think too much of it since we are on a secluded island, there will be bugs. But then they kept coming. We noticed them more and more and one night, while we were eating outside, a swarm of about 50 of them show up to gone us. Eeek! The property manager called to ask how we were enjoying our stay and when I told them about the roaches they simply said it must be getting close their monthly spray.
Now let me review the stay room by room.
Outdoor area: the outdoor area is really nice. Plenty of space for a large family to sit and eat. The pool was nice, but dirty. There was trash left by previous guests by the pool and there are no cushions for the pool layout chairs so you will be laying on hard wood. Also, no floats or pool toys. When I asked the manager about it she told me we could buy them at the store. We flew down from New York and weren’t about to go buy a pool floats we couldn’t bring back. But having one here would have been nice. Also, no beach towels so you have to use the towels that were supplied for the bathroom. And if you want to wash them in the washing machine, good luck! When booking the house, we were told that laundry detergent would be supplied. They left ONE tide pod. So we had to really plan how/when to do our one load that we were allowed.
The kitchen: the kitchen is big and spacious with all the kitchen equipment you will need. Plenary of plates, bowls, cups, ect. They left us with one roll of the cheapest paper towels you could possibly find which we went through in one evening. The dishwasher worked great and the table is large enough for everyone.
The living room: big and cozy! We loved hanging out here. The tv is a smart tv so you can cuddle up and watch Netflix!
The bedroom: we really only stayed in the master suit. It was spacious and the bed was cozy. My fiancé and I both didn’t care for the pillows on the bed. They felt cheap and were far too firm.
Overall, the house was nice but with no outdoor cushions by the pool no pool floats, super cheap paper towels, one tide pod, it felt skimpy
