About this lodge

This thoughtfully finished home is ready to host your next vacation or weekend away. Whitetail Ridge is located just out of the Dells making this a perfect spot to have privacy and yet be very close to attractions, supplies and more! You'll feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. We've worked hard to make sure this space is inviting, very comfortable and well equipped so that all you have to do is bring some food and RELAX! Whitetail Ridge sleeps 13. The layout is as follows; 1st floor, bedroom with king size bed, bedroom with 1 twin, 1 queen. Lower level, 2 bedrooms with bunk beds (queen size bed on the bottom, twin on the top) and bedroom with a queen. We also have 2 full baths, one on each level, a whirlpool tub and a pool table. Outside, you'll find a great fire pit area and a large deck. There's also a great front porch to relax on. We believe that details make the difference and know that you'll love the hand crafted pieces of furniture and other decor made by local craftsmen. Our beds are comfortable and we can't wait for you to check out this great new space! Sondra is always available for any questions or concerns that you may have. We look forward to hearing from you!

We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s and this one is top notch. Surrounded by woods it had plenty of room for 12 of us, well supplied kitchen. House is very clean and has very hot water. Awesome communication with owner.

The property felt isolated, even though it is t, because it is surrounded by wonderful woods. The inside has a rustic look with a modern feel. It was clean and well stocked with utensils and dishes. The grill worked perfectly and the fire pit area was our evening gathering Place. We never ran out of hot water either! We highly recommend this cabin/home.

We stayed at this cabin with our three kids (6, 5, and 3) and their grandma for a long weekend. The house was absolutely perfect. It was spotless and very well equipped with anything we needed. There were a few things that weren’t stocked in the house but Sondra sent us a packing list so we were all set. The beds were among the most comfortable I’ve stayed in at a VRBO! The house was cozy but also spacious. It was great to have the kids in the bunk beds downstairs so the adults could enjoy the upstairs area. The fire pit was fantastic - it was a large area with a paved section and plenty of seating. There was a cute hike within walking distance of the house. My favorite thing was that there was nothing but woods out every window of the house. So even though we were close to the road, it felt serene. The sunny days were great but we also enjoyed the sound of the rain in the cabin roof and playing pool in the basement (which we never get to do!). We enjoyed a day of outdoor activities (hiking, duck boat, etc) and then picked up a day pass for the water park in our second day. The kids are already asking to go back. Thank you Sondra for being a great host!!

We stayed here for a girls reunion trip, and we had the best time! There were 11 adults, everyone slept comfortably in their own bed or a shared queen, and we enjoyed being able to walk to the hiking trails. Sondra was very communicative and her packing list helped a lot!

We loved this cozy cabin! It was so homey yet large enough for a big group with 5 comfortable bedrooms. The cabin was decorated beautifully and it was so well stocked. Great open floor-plan with a lovely spacious kitchen. We were close to town where we spent a day at one of the water parks. And close to skiing & tubing as well. Would love to come back in the summer.

Overall the property and house was FANTASTIC. Decor and little touches are perfect. Need to supply quite a few things that a lot of VRBO's typically supply, but if you follow the list it's easy to pack! Highly recommend. Owner was quick with responses when I had questions.

Stayed four wonderful nights at Whitetail Ridge to celebrate our parents' 50th anniversary. Our group was 8 adults and 2 kids and there was more than enough room -- it really is bigger than it appears in the photos! The open layout was perfect for being together. We had a blast shooting pool and hoops, playing board games at the huge table, cooking and snacking around the kitchen island, and making s'mores by the fire pit in back! Everything in the house was extremely clean and the kitchen was equipped with every cooking implement we needed (we only ate out a few times so we used the kitchen A LOT). The location was fantastic -- felt like we were out in the forest away from it all, yet it was only a short drive to downtown. We appreciated the privacy and tranquility after a wild day at the water park! The hosts provided lots of helpful info in advance and were easy to reach if we had questions or any problems during our stay. We had no issues at all, though, and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

Our family went to Wisconsin for a fun weekend gateway. We could not have chose a better place to stay than in this beautiful cabin. Everything was clean and the cabin looks just like the pictures. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at your property. Our experience from beginning to end was perfect. Your home is ideal for large groups (we were10) with a big open kitchen and family room. We wish it had been warm outside because the deck and fire pit look like a fantastic place to sit and visit as well. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and many cute coffee cups for all. The owners were very helpful before our stay, answering questions I had not only about the cabin, but also places to help accommodate our stay. They were very attentive and made themselves available if we needed anything. The cabin was in impressive condition and we had regular snow plow and salting service during our snowy stay which was much appreciated. The cabin was amazing. The photos don't do the amount of space justice. The first floor is open and inviting, even for a good size crew. Plenty of kitchen utensils and extras were available for cooking and grilling. The basement was the surprise, the space just kept going. Our multi-family crew had plenty of room to spread out. We had such a comfortable stay. While the snow was a treat to watch from inside the cabin, we would definitely consider staying here during the warmer months so we can enjoy more of the outside. The cabin and the owners together made this stay an experience worth remembering and coming back to.

The beautiful house and property are exactly as advertised! Everything is extremely clean and organized. From the kitchen to bed- and bathrooms, functional and very organized. we appreciated the clean approach with no clutter, easy guidelines make it a welcoming spot for some well deserved R&R. We recommended the Whitetail ridge already to some friends who were looking into renting something like this. We were 100% satisfied and hoping to revisit one of these days again...... Thank you Sondra and team for a great job done!!

Beautiful cabin to spend time with our family and so close to all the activities we wanted to do. We enjoyed cooking together, as well as playing games both in door and out door. Communication was excellent with the property manager. We will be coming back real soon!
