all good

Great spot to stay with kids and a dog - fenced property and nothing inside to worry about with a one year old running around. There are also some toys which is great to keep the kids entertained with some novelty. The library and water front are a 5 minute walk and the Garden of Tane is even closer.

This is a typical old-school kiwi bach, nothing fancy but it's in a great location which is why this is our third time staying there.

We just really loved our stay - we loved that it was a kiwi bach style, where we could relax, read, play board games, chill out on the front porch, easily walk to the village and Garden of Tane.

Peaceful location. Bird song!
Clean and tidy inside. Well equipped kitchen.
Our grandson loved all the toys!! However, the outside deck area had what looked like a dog poop on a child's toy.

Stay was good overall! Had great communication with the property manager and sent out belongings we left.
Had everything you needed, perhaps getting rid of cobwebs before people arrive would be good. But overall close to everything and great that you can bring your dog!!

Be aware that this is a musty smelling old kiwi bach. The garden is overgrown, the furniture is old and uncomfortable. We paid for 3 nights and stayed for 1.

Was perfect for our wee family, super close to Garden of Tane and easy walking distance to shops :) had everything we needed.

Great short stay despite the weather. Really nice to be handy to Garden of Tane for dog walks.

The house was very suitable for our purpose, lots of time sitting on front porch in the afternoon sun, lots of walks with our little dog, a Border Terrier,. Good food at Bully Hayes and numerous cafes. Overall we had a wonderful very relaxing short holiday

Very well located, handy to town. Good facilities though wifi would have been nice. Perhaps good not to have it on holidays though so no stars knocked off for that!

Great spot, and home had everything we needed

Second stay at Williams Street bach and enjoyed the relaxing time. Heat pump kept us very warm. Beautiful daily walks in Garden of Tane and down town. The Jack Russell dogs enjoyed their stay. This stay unfortunately followed rain and the ground was very wet. The weather while there however was very good.

House was clean and perfect for our family and dog. Good location close to Garden of Tane and short walk to main street.

This was our second stay at this property and we love it. Location is amazing for kids of all ages - close enough to town and Garden of Tane to walk anywhere and plenty to entertain. It's great to have somewhere that's pet friendly. I've seen review that it's not 100% dog proof, but it's obvious from pics that it's not and pet friendly doesn't necessarily mean dog proof.
We will definitely stay again!

Hi. I really enjoyed my stay in the cottage. It is very cosy and adequately equipped. The location is excellent.
Sadly the property is not pet-proof as small dogs can get under the gate, under the house, and through holes into the neighbour's property. If it is going to be advertised as pet friendly then these difficulties need to be addressed with adequate fencing. Thanks for the opportunity to stay at 5 Williams St. Regards Jeanette

It was lovely to get away… though a bit challenging trying to remove the spider webs from the ceiling above the bunks

Was so comfortable with little ones staying here. Lots of fun toys, books for story time and a fully fenced section for safety.
Excellent location walking distance to town. We loved everything about staying here.
Thank you

The property was exactly as listed on book a bach, great location and rooms and everything you need, kitchen and laundry facilities. Great to have toys and books for kids too and wifi. When we left we lifted cushions off couches to make sure we hadn’t left anything behind and it reinforced a bit further cleaning of dust around the house could make the stay even more enjoyable. Would stay here again

Great property, super clean, kids loved the box of toys. Beautiful front verandah which was lovely to sit in and relax. Great fenced in section didn’t have to worry about kids getting onto the road.

Humble with everything you need! This house was a welcome friend for us in an unexpected snow storm. Comfy, cosy, warm and dry; we loved this place for its family vibe, proximity to town and accessibility with our dog in tow. Really appreciated Tracy's reassuring call when the road was closed to snow. Great place, will stay again.
