All good…a bit warm, but we can’t fault the homeowner for that! WiFi was listed as being active at the home but it is password protected and we were refused access.

Very nice property. Large family room and deck give you lots of space for larger groups. The kitchen was nice but a minimal number of glasses are provided for a unit this size. Be aware there are NO laundry facilities. The table will seat 6 adults comfortably, not the 8 that is advertised. One of the upstairs bedrooms is missing a screen on the window.

Nice property. Only internet missing caz no cell phone service.

WiFi
Really need to share WiFi password with guests going forward. All phones automatically show available networks and it was obvious the property is equipped with internet.

Bad bad bad
The cabin has no WiFi or AC. Rented it in the middle of the summer so it was like being inside an oven the whole time. The property has no lighting to cover the parking spot outside so it’s very difficult for people to unload bags at night. Overall it’s not worth the price, better to stay further and drive the extra 30-40 minutes.

Amazing place
This was our first trip to Yosemite for the whole family. We loved our stay at big bears den as much as the Yosemite. Great accommodation. Great memories of this place

Great location. Very good house
We were a party of 12. Had a good time. The house was very clean. Everything worked.

Nice clean quiet home inside the park
We rented both units which was comfortable for all 9 adults in our party. The home was very clean upon arrival and we appreciated the easy check in by going straight to the house with our door code that was provided via email. I would recommend arriving during daylight as finding it the first time is a bit tricky, but after the first time it’s easy.
We saw deer, birds, and even a turkey in the yard.
In the downstairs unit you can hear the occupants above you walking around and using the facilities. Be aware that the house has no WiFi or cell service. You have to drive down the street to the office in order to get WiFi. Also note that you don’t have access to the house laundry. We were used to homes that did have the laundry accessible so with all our dirty hiking clothing it would have been helpful to have.
But overall the stay was great, it’s close proximity to the park was great for all our days of hiking. We all enjoyed our stay!

No AC, No Internet and no cell service on any carrier.
The temperatures were in the mid 90s F w/no AC. No cell service, and no internet unless you drove/walked a quarter mile to the "office" and either connected from the driveway or from 10am - 7pm the office was "open" so you could connect in air-conditioned comfort.
The cabin is a duplex and is of super cheap construction, obviously purpose built to rent.

Perfect place for our family to gather. Quiet, clean and comfortable.
Even though it was a 30 minute drive into the park, we loved the quiet and beautiful location. Each day we had a different and amazing adventure. Our kids and grandkids all had a comfortable place to sleep and relax for the week. We would highly recommend this place to stay.

well designed home
Our extended family of ten people, 6 adults and 4 children overall enjoyed our stay. We used both units. Being from Houston, we are used to air conditioning and these homes do not have it. Being there in July meant 90 degree days and this house was warm during the day. However, there are many ceiling and upright fans. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom was broken and that was missed by the occupants. We enjoyed using the grill on the patio and dining outside really was enjoyable. Finding the house for the first time was a bit difficult and I would recommend doing so in day light. After that first time, we were fine in getting in and out and getting away from the Yosemite Valley 4th of July week crowds was great. The upstairs kitchen had sufficient cooking dishes and utensils (we used that one for the whole family). The downstairs living area is a bit noisy when those upstairs are moving around so we just asked for consideration in the morning until everyone was up. If only renting half, I suggest renting upstairs to avoid that issue. We had some complaints about some of the beds but on the other hand, we all slept after long days hiking. The house does not usually allow use of the laundry facilities but we appreciated some flexibility since we had 4 active children. WIFI at the office was important for our working family members.
