Not a good experience - looking to complain to booking.com for full refund.

It is good location near Kilkee Cliffs. The proprty seems newly built.

There was a strong smelling of cigarette smoke throughout the property because the owner or caretaker was smoking inside the house in the "private area" kitchen. But the smell was all over the place. When we got there, the water stopped running completely. We were infomed of water burst up the road, but we did not see any burts or repair work being done. That is unacceptable, so we were not able to take showers when we arrived, nor when we left early in the morning. I wonder maybe they did not pay their bill?? And the room remained cold all night. That was a very bad experience. Smoking in the property is totally unacceptable.

very nice house, sea view !

L'hôte était très gentille et nous a accueilli en personne, le check-in a été simple et rapide. La chambre est assez grande et bien équipée, avec une super vue mer. La maison elle même est dans un hameau un peu isolé de la route principale mais facile à trouver avec un GPS. Le prix était très raisonnable pour l'Irlande. Nous recommandons Killard, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour Very nice and helpful host, the check-in was very easy and smooth. The room is of good size, well equipped, with a lovely sea view. The house itself is a bit remote from the main road but it is easy to find it with a GPS app. The price was very reasonable, it is a very good value. We enjoyed our stay at Killard and highly recommend.

Disappointing

No breakfast. Uncomfortable bed. Bedding suspect. Front door key not fitting.No one there when leaving. Will never stay there again. Incorrect post code.

It was enough and the beach and sunset out the back redeemed the lack of the small things.

Location fairly remote but nice views and beautiful sunset visible and close to the small beach that had parking. Parking on site. Prior to going we looked at reviews and were reminded that this was a place without a meal, so we bought some snacks to have along until we found a place for breakfast - and if I recall correctly, it's not near any dinner places so don't arrive hungry.

The place itself is quite contemporary and clean, , but seemed to have a communal hairdryer available on a hall table (to share?) and the two small towels in the bathroom were not large enough and were mismatched, no decor on the walls, no hand towel or face towels to wipe hands after use of sink. No small soaps or shampoos. We were prepared for all eventualities so at least we had our own. It would not take much to make this place so much more welcoming with small amenities in the rooms.

Nice see view from one of the 2 bedroom. Close to sightseeing Moher cliff and Aran island ferries. Parking facilities.

Disappointing

Very basic. No bulbs in both lamps in room. Fitted bed sheet on inside out which made me wonder. No shower gel etc for shower. Breakfast is not included in price. The house is a good 10/15 minute drive from Trump Hotel.

Superb

We booked at the last minute so we were pleased to get such a nice large, comfy room. A short walk to the beach was great after a long day of driving. The bed was really comfy, had a great nights sleep.

Everything was good, there wasn't anything we didn't like.

A good place to stay if you are looking for peace and rest.

The room was huge, the bed comfy and the bathroom was very good. The surroundings were beautiful nd overall it was a great place to stay.

I cant really think of anything i didn't like.

This isn’t a B+B like advertised. There is no breakfast. The tv in the sitting room doesn’t work. There is no shower gel or shampoo in the showers. The bed was comfortable. There was no welcome or no farewell from the owner. A strange experience

The room was pleasant and well equipped with a nice ensuite bathroom - I was only using the place for an overnight stop whilst touring and it suited that purpose well.

It was my mistake - but I thought I'd booked a b'n'b - it was just a room (I think in the past it has operated as a b'n'b - perhaps Google Maps still shows it that way).

Beautiful house, strange hosting

Beautiful house, big spacious room, private bathroom, microwave & electric kettle in the room with tea and coffee available.

However, we couldn't rest at all - upstairs there was staying family with kids on the same night, kids were jumping all the time and we could hear everything, was impossible to rest in the evening and we woke up because of the noise very early next morning. The host woman didn't tell to the guests anything and advised us asking them to be quiet if we want. We saw host woman only when she opened the entrance door, otherwise there was no contact at all, no greeting, no chat, no bye, a bit strange so..

That it was in the country. New home.

I hate the smell of cigarette smoke and it was noticeable as u came in the house and partway upstairs on each occasion, esp. in late evening. I would have been very useful to know and much appreciated that on a Tues. when we were there, many of the closest eating facilities were closed: we could have eaten in Killimer where the ferry docked and we got off but instead We had to drive on further from Killard House to Kilhee to get supper. In fact his isolated area, it was inconvenient to not have breakfast available onsite. Again er had to drive quite far along our route to Galway before we found a breakfast or even coffee spot.

Price. V good value for 1 night. V near white strand which is fav childhood beach! Short 2 or 3 km drive to Doonbeg.

No breakfast included or option for it. Would have been willing to pay if option was available. Might be something to think about. Even continental n coffee.
