About this apartment rental

Enjoy the ultimate urban experience in this sleek and contemporary condo right in the heart of Victoria's world-renowned inner harbour. This Astoria condo is within a 5-minute walk of Victoria's premier tourist attractions including the BC Legislature, the Royal British Columbia Museum, the Royal Theatre, and the Fairmont Empress Hotel. The inner harbour is home to fascinating street entertainment, whale watching and sailing tours and Victoria's famous harbour ferries. Victoria has a vibrant food scene where local farms, orchards, fishermen and vineyards supply the best raw material and inspiration. Whatever your dining pleasure you will find a restaurant or pub to fit the bill steps from the Astoria Essence.

The sports enthusiast will enjoy running through Beacon Hill Park, kayaking or paddle boarding the inner harbour and gorge waterway and cycling along the Galloping Goose Trail.

No matter where you are coming from, or where you are headed to next there is convenient transportation steps from the condo. The Victoria Airport is accessible by a convenient shuttle, the ferry to Washington State leaves from the inner harbour and BC Ferries is a 30-minute drive away. Take a float plane from the inner harbour to Vancouver, Whistler, or the Sunshine Coast.

The condo is located on the 5th floor of the upscale Astoria building with a dedicated underground parking space, fully equipped gym and private lounge for residents and guests. All entrances are secure, with video surveillance and controlled access to each floor.

Tastefully furnished with modern furniture, the condo has a queen bed in the sleeping nook and a comfortable queen sofa in the living room. Enjoy your morning coffee or barbeque your locally purchased steak and seafood on the balcony. The kitchen is complete with a full-size fridge and all the supplies needed to cook a gourmet meal. Other amenities include a Smart TV with Netflix access, wireless high-speed internet and a washer and dryer.

The condo is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay from bathroom amenities to laundry soap. We love what we do and a big part of that is ensuring that you have the best “home away from home” experience ever!

Important Notes:

Due to bylaw changes a MINIMUM 3 MONTH (90 NIGHTS) rental is required, effective May 1, 2024.

You will receive the important check-in information email and text message with the check-in instructions 7 days before arrival. Check-in starts at 4 pm P.S.T.

GARAGE HEIGHT: 6'8" (2.03 m) - If you have a large vehicle, please ensure that your vehicle will fit the garage height restriction.

Each Astoria unit has a bike rack at the back of it's parking spot, with room for two or three bikes. Your own cable and lock are required. Please advise our Representative if you are bringing bikes. You may also rent bikes while you are here. Many of the bike rental companies will allow them to be stored on their premises at the end of the day even if you rent them for a week.

Victoria is the busy, vibrant and growing capital of British Columbia. Just as in many cities in BC, Canada and likely other countries in the world, we are experiencing a shortage of housing. In dealing with this situation there are several new buildings being constructed in the downtown core, and elsewhere. We recognize that there could be some daytime noise but are confident that it will not interfere with your time in beautiful Victoria.

Terrific location. This contemporary private, studio style high suite rise condo building downtown was ideal for our needs, dozens of services close-by including the spectacular walking paths for miles along Dallas Road. Walk everywhere!

Nice building. Well maintained. Property management is easy to deal with. There are a lot of extra costs added to the per day price. Property is very small and a bit noisy with all the buses below your window. Fitness room is not available until 9 which prevents morning workouts. Close to lots of restaurants and pubs.

What a great place to stay when visiting Victoria. Only a few city blocks away from all the action. Everything is within walking distance. The unit and building are very well maintained. Also the communication with the host/team is like a well oiled machine: very clear and prompt instructions given. We definately recommend this unit and would not hesitate to rent here again!

Very, very clean. Apartment layout was great, didn't feel cramped at all. Close to everything. Good, safe parking.
