Fabuleux B&B sur l'île d'Achill

Stella Maris B&B est idéalement situé au bord de l'eau sur l'île d'Achill. C'est une belle maison à la décoration quelque peu excentrique mais totalement charmante. Les hôtes sont conviviaux et chaleureux. Le petit déjeuner était varié et copieux avec une carte d'assiettes chaudes directement préparées en cuisine comme dans les grandes maisons. Il était servi dans la véranda vue sur mer. Le jardin donne directement sur la plage et l'établissement dispose de son propre parking.

Le matelas était un peu dur et nous aurions apprécié disposer d'une Chromecast sur la TV pour connecter notre compte Netflix. Mais rien de grave, nous avons passé un séjour fantastique !

Peaceful and lovely stay in Achill Island

This is a real gem in Achill island. The location of this lovely b&b is incredible, ocean view and everything in terms of furniture and decorations is placed with a lot of taste. The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom has everything you'd ask for, including a bidet! Breakfast is definitely a highlight in Stella Maris, the buffet is rich and it includes croissants, yogurt, fresh fruits, cereals, lovely fresh bread, jams, butter, juices really the options are endless :) Great selection from the menu too, I would recommend their pancakes, delicious and great presentation. You would be literally just a few steps from the beach, with direct access from the garden. The stuff is very welcoming and friendly. I can't wait to go back again!

Great stay here. The weather held up for us which is a bonus. 😊 Room was lovely and clean. Bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was amazing had the pancakes two nights we stayed there.

Cannot fault the B&B everything was great. We will for sure be back in the future 😊

Great place to stay on beautiful Achill Island.

Very friendly and welcoming owners. Comfortable room. Amazing location to beach with a fabulous sea view from room. Great breakfast selection. Loved the entrance to the property!!! So quirky and different!!! Short walk to a great pub for dinner/drinks as recommended by owners.

Really nothing to dislike. Hopefully be back again soon.

A fantastic stay in Stella Maris, which is over looking Keel beach located right at the end of the back garden. Stunning views and the most welcoming hosts, Clodagh was such a gem and couldn’t do enough for myself and my daughter. Great selection of pastries, scones, fruit and some hot dishes for breakfast helped set us up for our day’s adventure's. Perfect location with a number of cafe/restaurant/pub in walking distance of the B&B. We already can’t wait to go back.

A very special Achill B&B.

I'm sure there are a number of good options on Achill but clearly Stella Maris is one of the best. Accommodations are excellent: large well-outfitted rooms with very nice bathrooms ensuite. Everything sparkly clean. It's right on the beach, with its own private gate. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast, a combination of menu and continental, deserves a special mention.

Amazing property

We booked a last minute beach trip. And wow woth this place it was amazing.. End of the garden and you are met with keel beech. Breathtaking doesn't do justice.. The owner was lovely.. so warm and welcoming. Could not do enough for us.. from dinner reservations to extras on the breakfast table. The local pub/ restaurant was outstanding 👌 This is a real family home and the kids played such a huge part. From our waitress taking our order to the clean up crew, its a family business and its great to see.. If you want a quiet friendly beachside getaway then this is the place to visit.. Clean warm comfortable big rooms with amazing views A beech at the end of the garden A great pub / restaurant with 2 mins walk. Friendly family run business.. We will be back..
