Good communications and a decent stay.

The staff was pleasant to communicate with, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The wi-fi was excellent, it had a quick and stable connection. Enough sockets in the room, also near the bed, so charging our phones wasn't an issue.
Walls were very thin, so it was easy to hear everything that happened in nearby rooms. The building is a bit older, and you can tell. Heavily creaking floors, missing pieces in the railings, old locks on the doors.
The bathroom had spots on the ceiling, which looked like mould. The temperature of the shower can be finicky to adjust, as the tap both controls the intensity of the stream as well as the hotness, with small movements often making large temperature swings. Parts of the flooring in the bathroom seemed unfinished or broken.
You are right outside of a busy police station, so you will often hear sirens, especially when you have your windows open. In general, the neighbourhood was quite loud, so during the day, you would not get much rest in the room itself.
During my stay, temperatures were high, and the lack of a fan in the room during those days made the choice between a lot of outside noise, or a tiny bit of fresh air even more difficult. To be fair on this point, I did not check if the owner could provide a fan, so perhaps this would be less of an issue, but I'd prefer to have one standard in the room for the hot days.

Not much by way of breakfast, but room to store your own. Laundry being available was very nice.
Cooking equipment was pretty worn out. Especially the pan.

The room was what I needed it be - clean, comfortable and private. Though it was a shared bathroom, there was a never a time where you couldn’t slot in. Washing facilities were certainly appreciated with a full kitchen also. I had a key issue when checking in and the staff member was super helpful and even followed up again the next day.
I didn’t realise when booking that the location probably wasn’t the best. I normally walk a lot but tended to go for taxi transport when dark. I guess that’s just personal preference but worth considering for each traveller.

Knock on door at 10 in morning. Very prompt checkout.

Good location and staff
Bed and pillow and noise of the stairs when I walked.

Good bedroom with a good bed. Excellent shower. Room is spacious enough. Good facilities in kitchen.
House is too noisy. We could hear every single step from the room above us. They even came in 1am making a lot of noise, leaving lights on, speaking loud and walking back and forth. That's not a landlord issue to be honest, but if we couldn't hear them walking it would have helped a lot.

Early check-in was best part. 30 minutes into our room my girlfriend and I were talking and we were reminded to keep our voices down. We thought there was a voice detector and kept our mouths shut. That was thoughtful.
Throughout the 2 nights, we didn't sleep well because of footsteps noise, loud conversations and loud television voices coming from the room above us and the one across. It was so stressful. Wouldn't want to go through that again

Pretty good location. Secure storage for our bicycles
Yard could have been cleaned up a bit.

good value for money and close to the city center by car
it is a house, we were on the ground floor - could hear everything from the first floor (even the steps) which is very annoying when trying to sleep.

The room want clean, in the rubbishbin there was used condom, when we check in, on the wall was mold, there was really cold, owner tried to increase temperature, but still was cold. The noise from other rooms, you hear everythink.

The room had a private bathroom with toiletries.
The room has very poor heating...
Extra towels must be provided.
The property manager/staff must be kind which apparently he was not.

Great location.
Electrical sockets such as the oven switch and other sockets in the kitchen were loose. Tap in kitchen was loose. Musty smell in en-suite.

Location was good to access city center. Owner very organised and accommodating with small time change to check in time. House was very warm on arrival. Rooms very clean and comfortable.
Pity there was lounge area /sitting room to relax and chat with travel companions in a group.
