About this house rental
Get away and bring everyone together. At just 60 minutes from Chicago you can do both. This big lake home is modern with a rustic twist, blending updated amenities and a wide open floor plan. Can’t find someone? Check the multi-tiered deck, because they’re probably relaxing on the deck overlooking the lake. Everyone will have plenty of space to hang together or spread out. You’re also walking distance from El Puerto for some lakeside Mexican dining, music and margaritas! When you’re feeling adventurous, rent a boat at nearby Jet Fun rentals and head on over to Blarney Island, the floating bar in the middle of Grass Lake. We also have a recommendation for a fantastic fishing guide that will pick you up at our dock. If not outdoors swimming, fishing, boating or laying the sun enjoy some time in the second family room. It’s complete with a pool table, air hockey, ping pong, arcade games and another smart TV. So lay back, put your feet up, and relax!

This property was perfect for our needs, and the owners are amazing. Starting with the owners, the communication was great, and they were very accommodating and available for our questions and needs. For example, our checkout ended up being slightly delayed because of a few different reasons (one of which was because of an unexpected road closure due to an accident), and the owners were very understanding and flexible without any hassle whatsoever.
The house is great, and as described. We all loved the game room, and there is a lot of space for all kinds of recreational activity, and privacy when needed. Kitchen and other parts of the house was stocked for all of our needs. The deck is a good size, and also offers great opportunities and space to hang out. We rented a pontoon boat for the one whole day from nearby place, and it was really nice having our own private pier.
Overall, great place, with great owners, resulted in a wonderful experience for my family. Highly recommend!

Four adults and three kiddos had plenty of room and LOTS of fun. Jumping off the pier and the swim mat were a huge hit. We also really enjoyed a campfire on the deck. There was plenty of wood provided. The house is clean and has enough space that everyone could find a spot for a little down time. Bring your own beach towels, but there are life vests in all sizes available. Be prepared to sweep away cobwebs outside, but that definitely shouldn't spoil your stay. We had a wonderful time. A big thank you to the hosts for sharing their home with us.

The house is spacious and has plenty to do even on a rainy day. Loved having a dock for our boat and for swimming off of! They had everything we needed and more for a great holiday!

This place is HUGE! Everything was so clean and open, they had games available and a boat rental less than 5 minutes away which was perfect for fishing. Loads of Fishing poles and life vests. This place was perfect. The stairs outside the pier are a little wonky, but I think every lakehouse is like that. 100/100 would stay here again and recommend it to someone.

Wonderful location, responsive host
Perfect location for a great time. We stayed the weekend and are considering booking again in the summer months. The property is on the lake and it looks like that would be a blast for the kids in the summer. They also have a game room if the weather doesn't cooperate.

50th Anniversary family celebration

We rented this property to celebrate our daughters 10th birthday with family and it didn't disappoint. The views from the property where beautiful. The game room kept all ages entertained. Was able to watch some Cubs games on the Marquee Sports Network which was an unexpected bonus. The owners were very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend.

Amazing hosts and property
The pictures show the beauty of this property but in person we were blown away. The house itself has so much space to entertain and relax with a large group comfortably. Being on the water and the views from within the house was so relaxing. The screened in deck was perfect for the rainy weekend. The hosts were amazing as well and so quick to respond to any questions. We had a girls weekend during the spring and all agreed we would love to come back during the summer.

Relaxing spring break
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, the kids had a ball hanging out on the deck and on the lakeshore. Kelly and Eric were super nice and took care of lol our requests. We hope to be returning soon.

Lake house was relaxing and spacious. My family and I enjoyed every minute. The view of the sunset was breathtaking. Owners were easily accessible. Will recommend this location to family and friends. My family will definitely return in the near future.

We had a great stay. The layout worked perfectly for our large family. It’s definitely worth coming back in the summer to enjoy the outside space.

Lots of space and lake views!
This was a perfect place to escape to during winter. My family was comfortable and entertained. There was plenty of space for multiple families and accommodations for all ages. Very clean! We hope to come back and enjoy the summer months!

We rented this house for our group of 10 and it was absolutely perfect! Eric and Kelly were SO responsive to my questions leading up to the visit and while we were there, which we so appreciate. The house was very clean and well-kept, modern on the inside, and had everything we needed. Here are some of our favorite things about the rental:-The solo stove for bonfires that can be used on the deck is awesome! We used it several times and it was very convenient and easy to use. -Love the game room - we got a lot of use out of this awesome space in the evenings-The gazebo was great and we really enjoyed sitting out there enjoying the view!-There is tons of seating in and outside the house - the big table on the deck was great and we loved the big dining table for our large group to all eat dinner together.-There were a lot of beach towels at the house which was great -There was a nice float to use in the water and the big floating mat was a hit!-The kitchen was nice and big and we loved that there was a double oven!!!!-The house was stocked with a lot of useful items (particularly in the kitchen) like coffee/coffee filters, saran wrap, ziploc bags, scissors, big serving platters, basic spices, olive oil, etc.We also did a pontoon rental with Jet Funn Rentals one day that we were that which was fun and reasonably priced. Great Long Weekend in Fox Lake!
We rented this house for our group of 10 and it was absolutely perfect! Eric and Kelly were SO responsive to my questions leading up to the visit and while we were there, which we so appreciate. The house was very clean and well-kept, modern on the inside, and had everything we needed. Here are some of our favorite things about the rental:

Awesome time!!
Was a seamless trip for us! Eric & Kelly provided local recommendations and were so accommodating with check out time. Loved the house - super clean and so much space to spread out. Lots of games, pool table, ping pong and darts. Amazing views of the lake too! We definitely will consider renting again with them.

Fantastic Family Adventure Location
While the weather did not cooperate for our ski trip to Wilmot, this house was a perfect place for 7 adults and 3 kids. The open layout made it so easy for us to enjoy meals together, cook together, and there was plenty to keep the kids (of all ages) busy. It was so nice for all to have a place to sleep and relax. We can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake. Thanks to Kelly for her awesome communication and flexibility!
