Karin and her husband were one of the best hosts on our trip through Armenia. They both speak great English. They were helping us with flat tyre on our car. We also got very useful tips for planning next day trip around Sisian.

I usually do not write many sentences into the reviews, but this time I have to make an exception. We (me and my father) stayed 2 nights at Karin's place during our trip across Armenia and this was the stay were felt the strongest connection.
Karin's house is super clean, spacious, quite, and with a beautiful garden the products of which we had for our breakfasts. She helped us to connect with a local guide Sasun, who we spent with a wonderful full day. He took us with his off-road car to Ughtasar to see petroglyphs. On the way to 3000+m we found amazing mushrooms that Karin prepared for us as an extra course to already delicious home made Armenian dinner. Sasun took us to see also other beautiful places of Sisian region - Shaki waterfalls, Aghitu memorial, Stonehenge, Vorotnavank monastery.
I highly recommend to visit this region of Armenia and use services of both Karin and Sasun. These people have welcoming hearts, wants to share the best of their country with you and you will feel like home. Truly.

The place is very modern. Looks even better than on the pictures. Karin was very friendly and speaks good English. We could pay by credit card.
We didn't have a bin in the room

I liked the breakfast and host really tried to help us and advice. That was much apreciated.
I was really cold during the night, had to sleep in hoodie, central heating did not work. (April)

Great place and service. Despite booking at the last minutes the room was ready in 10 mins and dinner just after I settled down and had a shower.
Both dinner and breakfast generous and delicious. With veggies and fruits from their garden.
They all speak good English and are very welcoming and friendly.
The place is very nice and spacious with all facilities.
Big room, comfortable beds, great shower with how and strong water.
Common space with kitchenette, tables where breakfast is served and sofa.
Great Garden where to chill out with friendly cuddly cat. And where they allowed me to store my bicycle safely.
10mins walking from town centre.
If I really need to find a 'problem', the side road to reach it without tarmac is not inviting but it is not really a problem.

We were excited about our stay at Karin's, she was even preparing a homemade dinner for us, but history cought up with us and, because of the hostilities that had just broken up the night before between Armenia and Azerbaidjan and the front line quite close to the town, we decided not to spend the night there and get back to Yerevan. However, the hosts were very understanding and helpful, they even gave us some homegrown tomatoes from their garden when we left. We had the opportunity to take a look around the house and the garden and everything looked so lovely! We are very sorry that we could not spend the night there.

A warm and welcoming family. Karin was away while I visited, but she went out of her way to make sure everything was organized for my stay (including transport for the onward journey). The home-cooked dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, the room was warm and comfortable, the living room was a very pleasant place to spend the evening. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone coming to Sisian.
Everything was perfect.

It was just an amazing experience. The room and food and and the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of Karine. She simply went out her way to find and organize transport and also feed me because between New Years and their Christmas all restaurants were closed. The living room and kitchen were great for simply hanging-out and cooking a meal. Wifi was perfect and the walk to downtown was not much of a problem.
Check out the Cafe / Restaurant overlooking the main plaza.........great views and none-smoking and ask Karine for that perfect and pleasant hiking trail from the Church to the "Stonehenge"....))
Nothing to complain about other than I would have loved to stay much longer.
One quick note about what is written about Sisian in the Lonely Planet.......the writer must have had a bad day when quickly passing through town.
