Close from everything: petroglyphs, lake, bus station, museum, market - walking distance. Quiet room, beautiful garden, welcoming host.

Room is simple but very clean and cozy, even had floor heating when I visited (April). Olga is really helpful.

The host was nice and friendly and they have a play area for kids . The view from the Room was exceptional, on one side Issyk-Kul lake and the other side Snowy mountains.

This is a friendly and cozy guesthouse with a beautiful garden! Everything including the shared kitchen is clean and well-equipped with much attention given to even small details.
The really only thing I can think of is an occasional low water pressure, maybe when many people are using the shower at the same time.

The guesthouse, as the name implies, is well situated in the owners' beautiful garden.
My room, one of only two with attached bathroom, was situated over the clean, tidy and well equipped kitchen.
From the balcony it had nice views to the still snowcapped mountains to the north and glimpses of the lake to the south.
Whilst modest (ie compact) in size, it had everything you need for a restful stay....including under floor heating, if required.
I was made to feel very welcome by Olga, despite my inability to speak Russian, her husband and her daughter (who speaks English exceptionally well) and her family and the animals !
Highly recommended...........
Not so much what I didn't like, but found a little difficult to negotiate......
The upper rooms are accessed by a spiral staircase which may pose problems to the elderly and/or mobility impaired (I'm both !)

- The room is well cleaned
- Miss Oxanna being involved
- Ms. Oxanna has a fluent English
- Possibility to cook in a common kitchen area
- About 8% of the normal price was overcharged when converting the accommodation fee to som instead of dollars (I noticed after paying). Although the amount is not much, the fact that more money is taken than the normal fee disturbed me in terms of approaching the customer.
- Not even a bottle/glass of water in the room,
- The room is quite narrow.
- Due to the narrowness of the room, there is no closet to hang your clothes.
- There are only bath towel in the room. You don't have a face towel.

Olga, the owner is a real star. She speaks fluently English and she was very nice giving me the option to choose among two rooms, even n to requested. The property sounds very appealing in the summer because there is a beautiful garden, but the next day when I woke up, the view of the mountains covered up by the snow was breathtaking. You stay in a family run business guesthouse and you feel that warmth through the children playing around and the genuine kindness from Olga who is also very informative about things to do around.
I wished a little bit more attention to the hot water detail which needs to be turned on the night before so that I could wake up and shower immediately. Olga apologized and offered to take a shower in their private little warm bathroom which compensated my little issue. Thanks again Olga!

The host was such a sweet, beautiful, friendly person. The garden was incredibly nice and relaxing, fast wi-fi, and it was close to a great cafe (with colorful umbrellas - can’t miss it), and within walking distance to the petroglyphs and lake. Loved every minute of it! Thank you!
Nothing - it was perfect!

Absolutely wonderful guesthouse ! Each room has it's own terrace. There is a gorgeous garden with flowers and fruittrees.Good shower, great shared kitchen. It is close to the lake and to the petroglyphs. There are shops, snacks and restaurants very close.
Olga and Oksana are very kind, helpful and hospitable. Oksana also speaks very good English. It is the best guesthouse I found around Yssik Kul, I loved it !
