Lush, secluded waterfront apartment (feels like a beach cottage!)at the intersection of Ostrich Bay and Oyster Bay on the Kitsap Peninsula.
Just a 30-minute ferry ride from Seattle, escape to this west Puget Sound 1920’s getaway. This waterfront garden apartment feels like a standalone beach cottage. It has been completely renovated with a water view living room & kitchen; garden view bedroom and a spacious bathroom. A luxurious top-of-the-line plush memory foam mattress, down duvet & pillows and fine cotton sheets will lull to sleep in the always-cool night air of the sound.
Appointed with care by the owner (a former proprietor/chef of a nationally heralded inn ) this apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen. And if you are missing anything for that dish you are making, it’s likely just a text away!. Start the day with locally roasted coffee on your private stone patio, surrounded by gorgeous greenery, watching the bald eagles swoop down into the bay from the tall pines.
Bring your kayak, SUP or bicycle if you want to explore. Or just lounge the day away surrounded by nature. A short stroll up Marine Drive yields more blackberries than you can possibly pick. If you want to go farther afield Olympic National Park, Port Townsend, Sequim and the delicious Hama Hama Oyster Saloon are all less than hour away.
*10 minutes to the Bremerton Ferry/Boardwalk or Manette for restaurants and shops.
*A dozen steps to the clamshell beach.
*Private front and back door entrances.

Nice location and view. This is a basement appartment that is well equiped for a couple or single. The only negative is the lack of a decent TV. There is a very small TV on the wall of the living area without local or cable TV. No TV in the beadroom. Streaming only on the owners Netflix account. would not stay there again without access to news and other programs.

Husband and I stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed it. The clamshell beach is so peaceful. We enjoyed coffee on the beach (we brought bag chairs) each morning and the sunset was beautiful each evening. The landscaping is beautiful. The neighborhood is very quiet. The apartment is well equipped and the bed is very comfortable. We would stay there again!

We had a wonderful overnight stay at this rental. The owner was very responsive and helpful, the place was clean and comfortable and the location is great for enjoying nature while being close to a town. Also we were there during 90+ degree temps and the place was surprisingly cool! Hope to return to this one.

This was a wonderful, quiet 1bedroom apartment with a view. Leah was easy to contact and very helpful!! The backyard is beautifully manicured! My husband and I loved to sit on the patio on sunny days and read. The kitchen was well-appointed for our needs. There is a nice walk down to the end of the street and back. We stayed here to visit family in Bremerton. The apartment is off the busy street, but close to everything! We will definitely stay here again!!!

This stay was very relaxing with beautiful views! It’s close enough to Tacoma and Seattle to see all the big city attractions. The apartment is very clean and comfortable! The kitchen is equipped to prepare home meals in between all the great restaraunt opportunities.

It’s a nice quiet serene location away from the traffic, which was welcoming after day trips to Mt. Rainier and Olympic National Park. Bremerton is a
convient location to ferry into Seattle, without having to stay in Seattle.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment connected to the main house is a perfect size. Everything was clean and comfortable. There is backyard access to the bay and during low tide you can walk along and find the greatest treasures. It is 10min from downtown but there is fast food just a couple min from there. She made a great recommendation list for restaurants as well.

Quiet Get-a-way
We stayed 4 days in this apartment. It was cozy and comfortable. The property is well maintained and beautifully landscaped! We had no issues and the owner was very accommodating. The property is pretty central to many activities and restaurants on the peninsula, but very quiet and peaceful. Our time here was wonderful and we will definitely stay again on our next trip to Seattle/Bremerton!

Quaint
This was a quaint one bedroom apartment attached to a lovely home on the water. The landscape was beautiful and the water view looking out the backyard made me smile. The only thing this property did not include was a washing machine and dryer. Otherwise wonderful!

Cozy and convenient apartment
This apartment was a warm and cozy spot to stay while we spent Christmas with family in the area. The host was very gracious and accommodating. Recommend for a single or couple looking for a home base while on the Kitsap peninsula.

Great cottage- peaceful location
The apartment is suitably located to explore Seattle and other cities/towns located along the Puget Sound and inlets. It was nice to return to the quite apartment after spending the day in the city. We enjoyed seeing the chrismas lights during the ferry ride into Bremerton and from the beach at the property!
Communication with Leah was very easy. Thank you for all of your recommendations of local eateries in the welcome folder. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. We would definitely stay again!

A quiet and peaceful location
Very clean when I checked in. Eco-conscious owner encourages recycling and has separate basket for recyclables. Not lavish, but cozy and comfortable. "Away from the Madding Crowd", as they say.

Great stay near ferry in bremerton
Nice quiet inlaw suite with a small sea shell waterfront beach. Leah was an excellent host and was available and able to answer any questions we may have. I would stay here again.

A great apartment in a lovely setting
This was a great getaway location. The apartment is cozy, but well appointed and well maintained. The view onto the inlet is very scenic and calming from the kitchen windows. Communication with the owner was good. One word of caution to other tall guests, the ceiling in the bathroom is a bit on the low side in places (I'm 6'4" tall and couldn't quite stand up straight in the shower)

A romantic cabin in the woods, on the water, & right in town!
This nicely appointed cabin is shaded by gigantic Cedar evergreens and looks out on a green lawn and flowers just above a tidal inlet of the Puget Sound. We enjoyed watching the water, and boats from this cozy, romantic perch. Location was ideal, near city amenities, a short drive to the Bremerton- Seattle Ferry, and less than 2 hours to Olympic National Park. We enjoyed the beach, nearby parks and forest trails. The host was very accommodating, and the neighbors friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed a very comfortable stay!

Peaceful haven near the water
Don’t hesitate to book this! I stayed here almost a month working from home and found the apartment was just what I needed! During a cool, rainy week it kept warm and cozy. Good size kitchen that was well supplied. It was great to walk to the water for my coffee breaks. The host was very welcoming and helped me out with a few things as needed, going out of her way to do so. A great location- day trip distance to Seattle, Rainer, Olympic Peninsula, but also close to a 24 hour grocery and local activities.
Leah- it was so great to meet you! Thanks again for everything!

Beautiful waterfront location. The rental space is attached to the main house but there is a separate entrance for renter. Perfect size for two people. Very clean, comfortable, and homey. The big oak trees cast the right amount of shade. A charming getaway.
