We came up to play golf on Keneo. We had a great time. Cabin was comfortable. It is rustic but very nice. We would stay here again. One suggestion is to get some more glassware at the dollar store (maybe some wine glasses). Thanks

We came to Rockwood for snowmobiling. The cabin was great

Very clean. Perfectly located right on the water. Beautiful sunsets. Sitting/sleeping on the porch listening to the waves hit the rocks was so peaceful. When our porch light went out, it was replaced immediately.
Would stay again!!!

it’s perfect for a relaxing few days unplugged - our teens just read and played board games swam and hiked - it’s just a perfect spot. super clean and cozy.

The view was absolutely breathtaking but the cabin floors were creaky and wobbly. I was scared that I would fall through the floor in cabin 4. We only stayed one instead of two nights.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin on the lake. The property is right on the lake and you can see all across the lake. We bought groceries and spent a couple of days relaxing, playing cards and taking in the beautiful views.

a perfect spot to just unplug and unwind. quiet, clean, and simply beautiful.

We booked this property again after staying last year. It was just as pleasant.. Cabin 4 is a beautiful spot to enjoy lovely lake views and sunsets. The property next door is under construction so the noise was a little distracting this year we and the dock was not in the water again this year. I’m guessing this late in the summer (end of August) it pretty much floats to shore and stays there. Still a great getaway.

My family had a great time swimming, canoeing and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. We particular enjoy the large sunroom on cabin 4 for game night. We will be back next year. Thanks.

Our stay on Brassua Lake was great - very relaxing! It is a very rustic but clean camp. It is a great mix of rustic camp with modern conveniences like wifi! Being right on the lake was perfect - swimming, fishing, kayaking - perfect!

Nicely equipped - dishes, pots and pans, linens. Cabin could stand some finishing - floor, windows, siding. Was disappointed in the beach - not as pictured. Hubby kept hitting his head on low doorway to bedroom. Lots of stairs.

Winter in Maine
I booked something different this year for my families annual ice fishing trip up north. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to cooperate. Thankfully though, our view was great and the hospitality was great. I would definitely recommend this for someone looking to get away. And enjoy the simpler points of life.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. Check in could not be easier, the cabin is roomy, the screened porch is a great place to sit and relax and it's wonderful being steps to the lake.

Peace and quiet
My family and I had a relaxing 4 night stay in cabin 4. We love the Moosehead area and stay in and around there often. If lakeside lodging and beautiful sunsets are what you’re looking for, give Brassua Lake Camps a go. You won’t be disappointed.

Relaxing and enjoyable
The property was easily accessible and easy to find. The pictures are very accurate. The cabin is pretty rustic but clean and nicely maintained. Absolutely loved the sun porch and enjoyed reading and playing games out there with the gorgeous view of the lake. Beautiful sunset shots. We were a little disappointed the dock was not in the water, hopefully it will be next time we go. Loved that it was pet friendly and our girl Molly had a good time.

Relaxing
Great getaway with my children and parents! Everything was clean and the owners were prompt in getting back to us with anything. It was great being right on the lake a real chance to forget the hustle and bustle of the world. Kids had a blast swimming and great fishing action for kids right from shore!

You can access the ATV trails just a couple of miles up the road ,with secured parking. We caught fish right from the shore, and fly fishing a short walk to the dam. The owner was always quick to respond. Nice quiet spot and beautiful lake and sunsets. They have everything needed for your stay, just like other VRBO stays, still bring your needed supplies and help by leaving some forward. We would highly recommend this spot.

Great place to stay! Our extended family went and each group rented their own cabin! Perfect place for family get away.

Location is amazing
The location of this cabin is fantastic, you are a mere feet from the lake & it’s beautiful. Check in was a little confusing, a message from the property manager explaining that the cabin was open and the key location would have been helpful. If you are looking for a “camp” experience then you will love this cabin. The cabin is very rustic and could use some repair & upkeep. Aside from that we had a wonderful time and we were satisfied with the rental.

We loved this property, and would definitely go back. The porch was a great place to watch the storms roll across the lake, and the cabin itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were unclear as to the check-in policy, but another guest told us to just go in and the key would be inside, and we were all set. Thank you for hosting us at such a beautiful spot!

An amazing fall get away
This cabin was a perfect weekend get away! We live on the coast so a trip to the mountains we perfect. The cabin was exactly as described and actually much cozier than I thought it might be. It was steps away from the lake with the most beautiful sunset! It was easy to find, the host was very responsive and it had everything we needed. I’d most definitely stay here again!

It was the perfect Maine camp! Gorgeous sunsets, good swimming, pretty quiet.
Easy rental!

The place was beautiful. The only reason I say the amenities were ok is because of the shower. The shower was pretty short, and having a 6’5 eighteen year old, he wasn’t able to use. Other than that it was a beautiful mini vacation right on the water

Beautiful view of the lake
We would stay again
