This is the spot.

Fabulous house. Beautiful and fully equipped. Location was ideal and the foreworks from the porch amazing.

The views and sounds of the ocean were breathtaking and relaxing. For some of us like my granddaughter it was our 1st beach vacation. The community was very welcoming and neighborly. The house was stocked with everything we needed to go beaching and enhance our stay. We miss it already 😊

I grew up on the cape but have never encountered this beautiful place. We are going to be forever renters. It’s hard to describe but I had my mother my sister my brother in law.. my college friends and their husbands… it was magical! We made lunch, sat on the beach and chilled. Everyone went home by 9pm.
We couldn’t have had a better stay… we look forward to renting again. Honestly… Robin Jereaux rental was outstanding.
I hear the property is owned by the Singer family… we took such good care! We look forward to many more visits! An absolute pleasure and joy. Thank you !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “House by the Sea”. Everything we needed was provided; Lots of cooking utensils, and dishes. The views from the house and the porch were gorgeous. Our hosts were very helpful even coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out of the house. The house was quite comfortable with plenty of gorgeously decorated rooms and dining and lounging areas. It was hard to leave the cool weather and return to hot Texas. Highly recommend this property.

This was a lovely historic home with so much charm. The views were amazing from sunrise to moonrise. Communication with owner was excellent. Home was clean and equipped with anything needed. The stairs to the beach (148 steps) were so well maintained, with landings & benches to rest if needed. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We had excellent weather and the porch was used daily...to sit & rock & relax. Truly a wonderful spot to distress and rejuvenate. Thank you Robin & John for allowing us to stay in your House By The Sea.

The location and setting of this house are incredible. Gorgeous views from the bluff and an easy walk down the stairs to the beach. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-appointed, too. The property owners were very responsive and were wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend this property to anyone planning a Cape Cod trip!

Magical
Our stay here was absolutely magical. The property was beautiful and the views were breathtaking. Robin was a wonderful hostess and was prompt to respond when messaged. We had no issues while staying that required any additional assistance from Robin. The house was full of all the amenities you could think of. To the point that we didn’t have to buy much other than food and drink. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking in the area. We would definitely return!! Tip: Walk the beaches! The views and all the scenery make for wonderful strolls. Also the fire pit in the evenings with the water in the background is so relaxing.
Thank you Robin for sharing your home with us!

This house is amazing! The kitchen has everything you could want, the view is beautiful.
This property is great for a group. Our family from Boston visited on weekends and loved it. We grilled (they supply either propane or charcoal) and we roasted marshmallows in the campfire. The beach is just beautiful, especially at low tide. Robin and John are wonderful homeowners and very accommodating. This property gets very high ratings from us!

Great location
It is a great location right on the coast with some very long and steep stairs leading to a beach right on the edge of the property. It is a nice town.

Breathtaking charming escape
Absolutely beautiful home. Pristine kitchen, gorgeous bedrooms and an such lovely ocean views for almost every room. In the home it felt very private but we were very close to grocery stores and take out. Our host was very responsive and thoughtful and made the entire process very easy.

A great week away
Everything about our trip was great including the very nice and very clean house (which has a lot of character), the amazing views, the great beach, the proximity to restaurants and the Cape, etc. Robin was very helpful and responsive. House by the Sea is a definite if you are looking to stay in the area.

Perfect stay at House by the Sea
We absolutely loved our stay at House by the Sea. The pictures, while stunning, don't do this property justice. It's an incredibly charming, old house that has been meticulously outfitted with every modern amenity you could want. Designed and curated beautifully, I'd call it antique beach elegant. Awesome chef's kitchen if you choose to cook, wine/drinks fridge and coffee bar are such nice touches. Comfortable bedrooms, each with it's own character, all with plenty of windows to take in the sea views. We stayed in September so the gas fireplace in the living room was perfection in the evening. Lots of beautiful linens, plush towels, soaps, paper goods all provided and plentiful.
The location on top of the bluff with sweeping views over the ocean and beach made us hang out on the veranda for hours. The large screened porch is perfect and the yard is also spacious with chairs and fire pit and both a gas and wood grill. Yes, there are a lot of stairs down to the beach, and it's easier down than up, but nothing unmanageable. And it's all worth it once you hit the super quiet beach. I believe it's private for residence and guests only.
The house is in a really quaint, friendly and quiet neighborhood and still very close (walking distance even) to restaurants, coffee shops and a boutique market.
Robin was wonderful - super responsive throughout the entire process from answering questions, to booking, to following up. And she clearly has an attention to detail as I do believe she thought of everything a guest could need or want and then some.
I'd highly recommend a stay at House by the Sea. Start to finish, you will not be disappointed in the least.

Peace and Rest in a Beautiful Environment
Yes, the view. Of course, the view. Absolutely, the view. But ultimately, you go inside at night. And there you will find a lovely and healing respite. First of all, the place is so clean that my husband and I took off our shoes without even being asked. I was a little intimidated by the kitchen drawers--was it possible that each utensil was placed at exactly the same distance from each other? EVERYTHING you would need was supplied. When we needed something and couldn't find it, we assumed that it wasn't because it wasn't there, just we hadn't found it yet. All sorts of little things that really matter: e.g., the water in the shower is hot immediately. The books on the bookshelves are actually really good books, especially for someone who is into cookbook porn like I am, but also for great fiction and also travel books about New England. At night, you can hear the ocean and you go to sleep to surf lullabies. The stairs to the beach are literally right next door, which means you can watch people going down to the beach, but they are far enough away not to be a bother. There is a wonderful screened-in porch where we ate all our meals, able to see and hear the ocean but unbothered by any flies or insects. There was the occasional and inevitable fly--a staple of New England beach vacations--and the only thing I never found was the fly swatter. I am sure it was there somewhere. The shower was lovely--hot, with a shower head the size of a pizza plate, and nice choice of shampoos, and my favorite Vitabath body gel. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. There was construction a block away, but it will be gone by the time you read this. Robin was incredibly responsive and helpful. This was pricey for just two people and completely worth it. For two couples it's an unbelievable bargain. Grab it, either way.

Family Vacation
This property is wonderful. It is well kept, location is great, room for lots of people, literally steps from the beach and only a short walk to local restaurants and stores. If you want the beach experience but don't want the hustle and bustle of the Cape, this house is for you. Robin is responsive to any all forms of communication, text, phone, email and was a pleasure to talk with.

House by the Sea
The house has a great location overlooking the bay with a wonderful view from the wrap around porch. Although a very old house it has been renovated with all the modern touches but still keeps its charm. Robin & John could not have been more accommodating and were quick to respond to any questions we may have had. They were great hosts and we truly enjoyed our stay! I would highly recommend the “House by the Sea”.....

The. Best.
Absolutely one of the best places I have ever stayed. Robin has just thought of everything to make a stay here peaceful, comfortable, stress free and delightful. The house is gorgeous, the scenery amazing. Beds, towels, linens are all very nice. The home was extremely clean. We stayed here along with two other couples and two grandchildren and had plenty of room. There are a lot of stairs to get down to the beach but it was well worth it and eliminates your need for a stair master workout! Would definitely stay here again.

Exquisite house with gracious outdoor spaces and stunning views.
The "House by the Sea" has everything you could want for a wonderful couple's or family escape. I can't describe it any better than owner Robin has in her description. She says it all! It's exactly as shown in the pictures, well maintained and squeaky clean, with comfortable and charming spaces throughout. Booking at the last minute, Robin was incredibly responsive and accommodating and prepared the house with fresh flowers and lights on for our evening arrival. My family of five spent a glorious week on the expansive porch overlooking the bay, playing games and having dinners on the screened porch, reading by the warmth of the gas fireplace, hanging out on the sandy beach, and sleeping soundly with the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves. The baths are charming, the showers strong and hot, towels and amenities plentiful. The kitchen is well supplied with quality cookware and just about any appliance an experienced cook might need. Natural light is abundant from many oversized windows. The outside was a perfect space for our small dog and for lounging; our only regret is not using the fire pit as the days were cool. The neighborhood is quiet and feels private, but so close to everything you might need. You will not be disappointed by anything with the House by the Sea; it honestly couldn't be nicer!

Privacy, Privilege, Comfort and Elegance by the Sea
The photographs on VRBO only hint at the charms of this well cared for historic home set on a secluded bluff overlooking Cape Cod Bay. Yes –as the pictures show- the views are nothing short of spectacular. And even better in person; particularly when sipping gin and tonics on the rocking chair porch and feeling as though there is no one else around for miles. But what sets this property apart is the artistry and attention to detail with which this sparkling clean and comfortable home is furnished and maintained. The amateur cook will delight to discover an unusually well equipped kitchen complete with excellent cooking knives, Subzero refrigerator drawers, an AGA gas range, food processor, two outdoor grills (one charcoal, the other gas with extra tank supplied), a complete set of steak knives, and more pots, pans, plates, wine glasses, muffin tins, soup crocks, mugs, bowls, high quality cloth placemats and napkins than the discerning guest could ever want. We spent two restorative weeks at this special property during an unusually hot August and were grateful for the air-conditioning. We delighted in the private beach, which was uncrowded even at the height of the season. We also loved the outdoor shower (not even mentioned on VRBO) and the gas fireplace in the living room perfect for blustery nights as well as the beautiful formal dining room with wrap around boat deck views as glorious as the porch. Robin and John could not be more responsive nor generous landlords. One hates to praise too much for fear that this wonderful place of privacy and privilege will be snapped up before we have the chance to reserve again. This is truly a special place.

Perfect Summer Vacation
My wife and I stayed in "House by the Sea" for a week during our summer vacation celebrating her birthday. Not only was the house very charming and well maintained. It also offered EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a vacation at the sea. Whether it was all the tools in the kitchen for preparing the dinner or the two barbecue grills outside. The numerous rocking chairs on the porch or the fireplace on the front lawn. And if there was a question or small issue arising - Robin and John where lightning quick to answer or resolve it for us. A perfect stay !

Seaside Perfection!
This is the quintessential seaside New England home. The view is amazing, and the home is perfectly located. We vacationed with my elderly dad, and he was able to get up in the early a.m. and walk the quiet neighborhoods and also walk to nearby coffee shops. Peaceful serenity and yet close to everything! The exterior of the home was freshly painted and sparkled. The interior was well appointed with a casual elegant style. Being originally from Massachusetts, we used to "pass by" Plymouth on our way to the Cape. If only we had stopped a while at the Manomet bluffs all those years, where serenity meets the sea! Thank you, Robin, for opening up this beautiful spot for others to experience and appreciate.

You know its great when nobody wants to leave
Toward the end of his stay at the House by the Sea our five year old grandson told his parents to buy the house. When we asked him why he said, "So many doors, so many rooms." Meanwhile our three year old grand daughter couldn't seem to stop running and smiling. In their way they were expressing how we all felt- so much space for us all, all generations, to come together and have fun without feeling crowded. We noticed how all the adults would ask each morning why we felt so wonderfully rested. Was it the beds, the sea air, the rhythm of breaking surf? All of it. And as a waking bonus each morning starts with birdsong. (I actually looked at one bed to find out its secret and found TWO mattress toppers fitted over the mattress and thought that's something to try at home!).
We knew that arriving on June 3 would be pushing it for a summertime experience but we learned in the Cape area the sun pops out more often than the forecasts predict. When it rained we enjoyed sitting with a book by the fire and looking up now and then to watch the color of the sea change beyond the bluff.
We like to cook and got to use an Aga stove! You know its great when nobody wants to leave.

Always a wonderful experience!
I have rented several of Robin's properties and I must say that I find it very difficult to select a favorite. House by the Sea is no exception. This property is perfectly located by the sea - great for hanging out on the beach in the summer and perfect for walking on the beach in the winter. All places are beautifully decorated, and comfortably furnished. Every amenity that you need is included . I love to cook so I certainly appreciate the completeness of the kitchen - from appliances and cooking utensils to dinnerware and stemware - always top notch and high end. Location is perfect too for side trips to Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and all over beautiful Cape Cod. Thank you for another wonderful vacation.

House by the Sea
House by the Sea was perfect! It was exactly what my mom would have loved! Unfortunately we stayed in the house for my mother's funeral but it was a perfect set up for my family and the owners could not have been more accommodating. The view was amazing, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen and nook area were our favorite. And cannot forget the fire pit that over looked the ocean and one night viewed the blood moon...We had everything we needed and could not have been more happy during this difficult time. We plan to come back! Thank you Robin for making us feel at home.
