About this house rental
Our private, 2-acre property is just a 10 minute walk to the beach and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and a 24-hour grocery. Guests enjoy sweeping views from every room of the house and expansive deck. High-speed WiFi, Sonos wireless sound system, and Roku streaming tv keep guests connected and entertained.
The Space: Our home is a sprawling, light-filled retreat. Guests staying in the master suite will enjoy a king-sized bed with a picturesque view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains beyond, and can soak in the jetted tub in the attached master bath. A second, garden-level downstairs bedroom offers an equally comfortable night's sleep with a queen bed and high-quality mattress. The downstairs full bathroom is shared by guests in this bedroom and the "third bedroom," which is a space we created by dividing the den with a partition wall. Although not technically a bedroom, we've worked hard to maximize the comfort of this space by providing another comfortable queen bed and black-out curtains. The den, with fireplace, tv, and movie library, completes the downstairs.
The Neighborhood: Our house is located on a dead-end street high above Puget Sound in West Seattle's North Admiral neighborhood. It is just a short walk from the house to the businesses of the Admiral District. But, once you're at the home, you will feel like you've escaped the world entirely!
Parking and Transportation: There is a two-car garage and plenty of driveway parking at the house. For trips into downtown, you may enjoy catching a ride on Seattle Metro's water taxi. Uber and Lyft are also available everywhere in Seattle.

Hello,
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lovely home! It offered the perfect quintessential Seattle visit.
Spectacular views and gorgeous weather for a family gathering. The home is clean and well supplied. Its tranquil and very relaxing while being centrally located in S. Seattle area Alki is always a nice spot for restaurants, a stroll along the water and easy access to down town, pike street market or a ferry ride .
have some excellent photos if you want to reach out , I'm happy to share them with you

Pritchards Perch is exactly as described. The location was close to all of seattles attractions but a relaxing retreat seeming far away. The view couldn’t be better and enjoyed sitting in the deck watching the boats in the sound while drinking coffee in the morning or watching the sunsets in the evening.
Kitchen was stocked with all you needed to cook and some nice treats for us to enjoy. Beds and pillows were comfortable, bedrooms and bathrooms stocked.
Great communication with the host and answered any questions we had after arrival quickly. Definitely recommend this hilltop retreat!

Starting on the outside, there was a good amount of driveway space and could easily park cars. Coming inside it was clean and very well stocked with necessities. The view was beautiful and I couldnt have asked for a better experience.

We found the house very clean, and of course the view and feel is fantastic. A fairly well-appointed kitchen.

Hosts communication was great, house is amazing. Kitchen is well stocked, nice appliances, grill etc. back patio is magic. Its in an area off Admiral is tucked away and feels like a different city, so even if you are from Seattle it feels like you are on vaycay.

Our adult family of 6 stayed comfortably for a week- it’s a beautiful home, very well equipped for living and cooking and beautiful views and grounds. It’s so close to DT Seattle and pretty much 20min away from most of what you want to see/do. Loved West Seattle! Would def come again. Thank you!

Just wow - that view is awesome, even when it rained everyday we were there! Great place to stay, all the amenities you could require. Great location and access to all things needed in West Seattle. Would definitely consider staying here in the future. Host was very quick to respond and helpful to any questions we had!

This house has such a phenomenal view and looking out at the water and mountains and watching the ferries pass by was amazing. We caught great weather in the middle of March and were able to see a lot. The house is a very easy drive to downtown Seattle and many of the places we either ate at or visited. We loved being away from downtown but so close at the same time. The house has so many amenities -- supplied well with toilet paper, paper towel, cleaning supplies, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. Everything was plentiful for our 5 night stay. Highly recommend. Easy check in and check out and great communication with the owners.

What a wonderful week - surrounded by inspiring views, thoughtful amenities, and total comfort. Laura and Joe made sure we were well cared for - from a delicious welcome basket and stocked kitchen to luxurious bedding and fluffy towels. It is hard to leave this West Seattle “resort.” We will look forward to our next visit!

You won't regret staying at the Pritchard House.

You often can find great properties on VRBO. You sometimes can find fabulous host on VRBO. And then occasionally, you get a property that offers both. This is that place. Besides great location, amazing views, aesthetic beauty, and comforts of home, I could spend today listing all the ways in which the hosts for this property thought of EVERYTHING you could possible need, or want, or not even know you wanted. And they have thought of it for you. Amazing. You know you've found the right place when you don't want to leave. I promise, you won't want to leave.

What a great property in Seattle! Breaktaking views from every room! Very spacious and comfortable. Loved that all of our family members had their own space. Playpen, high chair, childrens dishes and baby gate available. Also, a nice treat basket upon arrival. Great communication with property owner, as well! Thank you for a great stay!

We just finished an extended stay in the Pritchard St. house. We've been to Seattle several times so our tourist list is pretty much checked off which was a good thing because it was hard to spend time away from the house. You know how photos for some VRBO rentals cut the angles to enhance the property? That's not the case here. If anything the photos of the house don't do it justice. The view is mind blowing, especially in the dining/living area and the master bedroom. Even though it was chilly (it is November after all), we spent time on the deck watching the boats on the sound and birds in the surrounding trees. The kitchen was well equipped and what beats prepping your meal on the kitchen island while staring out at the water and Olympic Mountains. We ate in the entire time we were there, groceries, liquor and other supplies are a less than a mile away. We only used the master bedroom and the bed was extremely comfortable. The Sonos sound system worked with Chordify but we couldn't get it to work we any of our other streaming services. Maybe it was us. TV was good. If you have screen mirroring on your phone or tablet you can cast to the TV screen which was nice. A couple of things that weren't deal breakers for us but you should be aware of, the jets in the jacuzzi tub and the living room fireplace aren't working and are awaiting repair. We didn't care about the tub but the fireplace was somewhat of a disappointment. The dining room fireplace worked fine and was enough to take the chill off the dining/living area as we didn't want to crank the heat up in the whole house. If either or both is important to you, confirm they are working before you commit.
All that being said, we would stay there again in a heartbeat. We've stayed in some spectacular locations and the Pritchard St. house is hard to beat.

Great house they had everything you need.
Well planned as a VRBO.
They need a bigger Trash Can.
The house was awesome.
View was beautiful as well,
I do believe that they need pest control as spiders are everywhere.
Other than that awesome place.

We have just spent a lovely two weeks at this fabulous property, as part of a trip from the UK to visit family in Seattle. The property was everything we wanted and more. The space worked really well for us with our teenagers loving their private ‘chill out’ space at ground level! The weather was sizzling hot, the only downside being that the upper living area gets very hot inside due to the amount of glazing. I understand this may be getting addressed through a new A/C system soon though.
The views from the deck absolutely make this house, stunning sunrises and sunsets a-plenty. The house is also really well stocked, which was important for us having travelled from abroad.

Worth the splurge!
I am so happy that I decided to splurge and book this marvelous house for a recent trip to Seattle. The house afforded glorious views of the Sound and privacy from nearby neighbors. The house is secluded at the end of a barely used road, so it was totally peaceful. The owners are devoted to providing as much info as possible to their guests, so we didn’t run into anything confusing. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic VRBO!
Property is very clean and the best stocked rental property we have experienced (for things you will need). The owners have been very thoughtful and everything you need is here. The check in/out is easy. The views are fantastic and it is a great place to just take it easy. We will be back for our annual Seattle visit next year.

Truly a beautiful home- the view is amazing and worth every penny we spent. Rest of the home was just as great. Most stocked VRBO home I have every stayed at- small things like garbage bags, toilet paper and toiletries which we often forget when making the first trip to grocery store. West Seattle is a perfect location (even better if west seattle bridge would be open) for mountain days and then city days if desired. Neighborhood very safe and not busy except for down by the beach. The water taxi not far from the property is a perfect way to get to downtown without sitting in traffic. Plenty of restaurants in West Seattle to choose from. Will definitely be back.

What a view!
The home is well furnished, very clean, quiet private location with views beyond belief.
The mini hiking trail was a hit.
We would strongly recommend having a way to cool the upper level during the summer months as it was very hot in the late afternoon and evenings.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The house is well appointed and the management was superb. The pictures don’t do the view justice. As property that is fully equipped for
both short and log term rentals, you will feel right at home in the wonderful West Seattle neighborhood.

As amazing as the photos and description are, they do not do this property justice. The house itself is amazing and comes furnished with everything you could possibly need for a short or extended stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and there was a ton of empty storage just waiting for your belongings. The views out back were beyond amazing - watching the ferries as we had morning coffee on the back deck or watching the sunset over the mountains and Puget Sound was breathtaking. The grounds offered a lot as well - several trails down to a fire pit, a cute shed with balcony, a greenhouse, and the best part was how secluded it felt. Joe and Laura were absolute wonderful hosts and were available to answer any questions we had. We had the adventure of staying here the week of the record-breaking, history-making heatwave in Seattle where temps got to over 100 degrees three days in a row. Joe and Laura went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible and checked in on throughout the week. We loved our time here and if we are ever back in Seattle, we would definitely stay here again. Thanks Joe and Laura!
