Wonderful vacation with our two college-age daughters. Plenty of space for our family of four. Had four full days filled with lots of hiking at RMNP, time spent in Estes Park, and an afternoon trip to Boulder. The cabin is stocked with anything you may need and even things that you may have forgotten to bring. Very cozy, beds comfortable and the cabin is very clean! We loved having the deck with the gas grill and gas fire pit- we utilized this area most nights for supper and relaxation. The owners are wonderful to work with- great communication and friendly! The cabin is only 5 minutes from the Wild Basin entrance to RMNP which was great for one of our days of hiking. And wildlife galore! We had a moose hanging out across the street from the cabin the entire stay and even got a great video and pics of a huge elk eating with the moose one morning! Great memories made!!!

This cabin was a fantastic pick for our trip to visit RMNP. The cabin was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The property was amazing, and we all had fun meandering around the rocky outcroppings or just enjoying the view on the deck. The hosts were extremely helpful in giving us information prior to our stay. If we come again, we will certainly choose this cabin again!

The Rock Ridge Cabin is tucked away off the beaten path, surrounded by mature Ponderosa pines and beautiful rock formations. The location is quiet and peaceful and the cabin is stocked with all the necessities. This was our third stay and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else as Rocky Ridge is now our home away from home.

My husband and I loved this cabin! It was the perfect location for everything! You could go out during the day but then come back and relax away from the hustle and bustle. The generosity and kindness of the owners is like no other!

This has been our third stay and as always it was great. I could go on and on about how great it is but there is not enough time and space. If you love the mountains as much as I do, you could not ask for a better location and cabin. Kipper and Heather are great hosts and will always help anyway they can.

This is a comfortable home situated near the southeast corner of Rocky Mountain National Park. It's conveniently located near the less-visited entrances to the Park: Wild Basin and Long's Peak. It's easy enough to get to Estes Park and the Beaver Meadows entrance to the Park as well, and there are spectacular (and often crowded) hikes from that entrance. But the waterfalls accessible from Wild Basin are among the best in the Park.
The house has everything you need. We used the outdoor gas grill frequently and made use of the outdoor gas fire ring too. The bedrooms are small, but the beds are firm and comfortable.

This cute cabin was just perfect for our vacation. It is secluded yet close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It was just me and my husband so we had plenty of space to relax. I'm sure you would still have comfortable space with up to 4 people. We arrived to the cabin after dark so it was a bit hard to find the road to turn onto but after we saw where we were the next day we did not have any problem finding it after a full day of exploring the beautiful CO mountains. The owners were easy to communicate with and were very responsive. The wi-fi was also strong. Unfortunately I had to do a work meeting via Zoom while we were there and I didn't have any connectivity issues. We had a great time and the cabin was perfect for us.

A very nice cabin. We enjoyed the property. Our 2 children liked climbing on the rocks. There were some turkeys and mule deer that came right up to the cabin. Very good stocked kitchen and even items in the pantry. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing mountain cabin!
This cabin was absolutely wonderful and went beyond our expectations! We loved the location, the extensive surrounding acreage to roam, the cleanliness, the accommodations, and the character. Our hosts were very communicative and we had absolutely everything we needed! The only things I would mention that could possibly be improved are the pillows and possibly adding a bed upstairs in the loft. My daughter slept on the futon fine but would have preferred a bed if possible. She thoroughly enjoyed the extra space upstairs compared to the bedroom that her brother had downstairs though. We also loved all of the cool posters and artwork on the wall and the fairy book in the nightstand. The hosts seem like very interesting people that we would probably really enjoy hanging out with. Ha!

Fun in natur
Property is on a county road near RMNP, near Wild Basin. A moose and calf strolled to within about 30 feet, while we were sitting on the deck. Hummingbirds galore, deer passing through, …. Quite enjoyable.

Peaceful and remote
Great little cabin and excellent owners. Great communications and no issues at all. Great location if you want to be close but out in the woods and enjoy nature. Definitely recommend. Only thing that would make it better is if the couches faced the huge windows so you could enjoy the outside view from inside 100% of the time!

Excellent Family Cabin
We travel to National Park areas regularly for our vacations and always stay at VRBO cabins. This was an excellent stay with our 3 children. Clean, stocked with essentials, great location, and peaceful.
Beds not very comfortable and could have used more towels for our stay, but overall would recommend to other families for short stays.

Would Recommend This Cabin Near Estes Park
This was a great place to stay! The cabin was very clean and had more than everything we needed for our stay. The location is great as well! About 15-20 minutes to Estes Park. 10 minutes or less to Longs Peak and Lily Lake trailheads. The porch was awesome for grilling, watching wildlife and making smores! The cabin is also secluded enough that you feel like you have the whole mountain to yourself. As we were leaving on the last day, we saw a moose grazing about 50 yards behind the cabin! The owners were great throughout the process as well. They were in contact with in the weeks and days leading up to check in to make sure we were all set! The only complaint we had is that the time went way too fast! Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay near Estes Park/RMNP!

Perfect Getaway
This property is the perfect getaway. The cabin is stocked with everything you need. The location is great, off the main road so you don't hear traffic, but still close to hiking in RMNP and Estes for other activities. We loved our stay and are hoping to return again in the future.

Beautiful property with every necessity!
For the low cost of each night, this place was PERFECT!! The environment around it was amazing, not too secluded but not in the middle of down town! My family absolutely loved it here! There was a place for everyone! We had two 6foot men with us and they thought the toilet could’ve been bigger but all of us women had no problem! This place was amazing and would be gorgeous anytime of the year!

Wonderful secluded cabin. Great location!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this secluded cabin. The views from the patio are amazing and the sunrise was absolutely breathtaking. The cabin is very clean. The owner leaves bleach wipes and bleach cleaner for you to use in the cabin if you would like which is very appreciated during the coronavirus pandemic. This cabin is the perfect distance from Estes park and the Rocky Mountain national park. The drive to the cabin from Estes park was about 20 minutes give or take. There is no phone service but the owner has a land line for you to use if needed. The owner called us directly before checking in to tell us a little about the cabin and to answer any questions that we may have had, which was a very nice change from other places we have rented. Overall a great experience we would highly recommend it for couples or a small family.

September Estes Park Trip
The cabin was perfect, everything we had hoped for and more! Very close to RMNP and not too far from Estes Park. We brought our utvs to ride trails and there were a few just down the road that were great! No internet or phone service, which made finding things a little challenging, but it was nice to disconnect! Overall great stay, would definitely recommend!

Two good weeks!
We had a great time staying at the house. We were lucky enough to be there for two weeks, going for day hikes in RMNP and exploring the surrounding area. It's very quiet. Loved the two decks, open and covered. The gravel access road is far enough below the house that the occasional car going by is not an intrusion. We will certainly stay at the house again when we are in the area.

Very nice cabin
This cabin was awesome! It was very clean and stocked with everything your personal home would have. It is also in a perfect location. It is close to town, yet secluded in a quiet neighborhood. There were many deer literally in the front and back yard. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend!!!

Lovely stay
We had a great time at the cabin! Everything was tidy and clean, our hosts communicated easily and provided an abundance of information, and the property is in a beautiful, quiet spot. Easy access to the restaurants in Allenspark, and the Wild Basin entrance to RMNP. Well outside of the hustle and bustle of Estes Park, but near enough to visit easily. I appreciated the abundance of blankets for the chilly June weather, and all the thoughtful amenities provided for our family of five. My older kids loved sleeping up in the loft, and enjoyed the books and DVDs. We all loved the opportunity to unplug, returning each day to unwind in "our mountain house," as our 3-year-old called it.
