The property itself was great. Plenty of rooms, bathrooms, space. The only thing is possibly adding outdoor cameras to the property as we had a rental vehicle broken into the last night there. Some time between the hours of 2am and 6am, the back driver window was smashed in. That is why we gave the location a 1start. Everything else that has to do with check-in, communications, etc.. was wonderful.

Could use a good paint job and new furniture
The pics of the property online look great however the place really could use some maintenance and upgrades. The marks on the walls, stairs and doors really make the units look run down. This could easily be fixed with a good paint job. The furniture in both living rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. The leather sofa is worn and torn up and they put a throw over the sofa in the other unit so God only knows what’s under there. It really sucks that the neighbors are so uptight about noise because the rooftop is the best spot in the house. There’s no furniture up there (we assumed because the neighbors are noise sensitive so the owners don’t want people hanging out up there) so we couldn’t enjoy it the way we wanted. It is possible for people to be somewhere and not make a lot of noise. It’s interesting that the neighbors don’t like noise yet live in a noisy part of Philly. Every morning cars drove by blasting music and there’s a train that comes through several times a day. The owner was responsive to messages and the check in process was easy but we decided to not return to this property.

Perfect Accommodation for 2 Families Thanksgiving Weekemd
As our families grow and empty nesters downsize it’s increasing hard to reunite our extended family for holiday weekends. This property was perfect - rooms and bathrooms for all, a kitchen and living room to grab a quick breakfast and even another living space to congregate separately for games or workouts. Neighborhood was gentrifying and the house wasn’t super close to anything we chose to do but parking was plentiful. Great stay.

Fun and clean!
We stayed in both units for a bachelorette party! The unit was clean and ready for us at arrival. We had a great time. Check in and check out were both easy. Thanks for a great stay!

Bachelorette party
Overall great stay! We rented out the entire house/both units, so it was very accommodating of our large group (13 people) with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all. Owners were very responsive and helpful. As noted in some other reviews- the location is ideal and close to a lot, but neighborhood not so much. However, we never once felt unsafe and just stayed in groups as well as took Uber & Lyft everywhere- would not walk around the neighborhood even in a group. One downfall was getting into the house and then locking It up when leaving, which was always a hassle because the code they provide does not work to let you in/lock up, so we always had to use the emergency backup way to get in/out. Walls and stairways are marked/scuffed up. Another downfall was that in the one rental unit there was no space for hanging clothes up in the closets as they were all being used as utility closets and/or locked so couldn’t open, so no where to hang anything which was annoying for a group of girls who brought dresses and such. Beds were extremely comfy, and the outdoor space and roof deck were an added plus! Would stay again.

Philly Weekend
The place was really nice and was able to comfortably accommodate the 16 of us staying there. Kevin was quick with a helpful answer anytime we had a question. We had a great stay!

Good stay, great place, no major complaints!
In terms of space, the place was perfect for our group of 10 (5 couples). Plenty of rooms, bathrooms, etc. Common rooms aren't huge but that's no big deal. Kitchens are beautiful and bedrooms are all similar and very decent in size! Overall, our stay was completely fine and the owners were very communicative. I will admit, the neighborhood is not great. We always had Ubers/Lyfts pick us up, so not a big deal. The first day we arrived we walked to a nearby restaurant and someone on our street said "welcome, hope you don't get killed." Not the nicest greeting but we stayed in groups the whole time and it wasn't THAT bad. We chose not to walk anywhere else (within the neighborhood) after that. There are lots of homes nearby being renovated so you can tell it's up and coming... just not quite there yet. Another very minor thing - this wasn't a problem, per se, but we noticed that the walls and stairs are extremely marked up/scuffed. To be clear, the place itself is NOT dirty in the least, but the walls could certainly use some fresh paint. A little odd, but again, not something that put a damper on our stay. Even though the neighborhood is not the best, it is extremely close to center city (less than 2 miles but takes about 20 mins. with traffic). Would probably stay again if traveling with another large group.

Excellent for our needs
We are a large group - 6 couples who needed accommodation for the Army Navy game. This duplex held us all comfortably with plenty of bathrooms. It’s really on the edge of Fishtown but it was only an Uber ride away to great restaurants and coffee shops. We were close enough to the Lincoln financial center to get to the game easily. This is a great place for a large group to stay to take in all the sights of Philidelphia.
